A payment terminal, including: a display, an input device configured to generate input signals indicative of a user input, a payment instrument reader configured to receive payment instrument data from a financial payment instrument, a secure processor connected to the payment instrument reader, a main processor connected to the display, the main processor separate and distinct from the secure processor, a secure input processor connected to the input device and the secure processor, wherein the secure processor is operable between an unsecured mode, wherein the secure processor sends input coordinates based on the input signals received from the secure input processor to the main processor; and a secured mode, wherein the secure input processor ceases input coordinate forwarding to the main processor.

Systems and methods for blockchain based proof of payment

A proof-of-payment system may receive a payment confirmation including a transaction amount and a merchant identifier. The system may select a record from a registration repository by matching the merchant identifier to the record. The record may have a public key associated with the merchant identifier via a registration process, for example. The system may also generate a proof-of-payment payload comprising an identifier and a payment amount, and encrypt the proof-of-payment payload using the public key. The system may write the encrypted proof-of-payment payload to a blockchain maintained on a first blockchain node.

Method and GUI for settlement of commodity contracts denominated in commodity contract tokens

A computer method and graphical user interface (GUI) for settlement of a commodity contract includes displaying, on an electronic display of a first user device, a GUI for receiving input of information related to a particular commodity smart contract for transfer of a commodity, receiving input data including information related to commodity attributes from a first user via the GUI, displaying a commodity price field in the GUI, transferring the received input data to a server computer, displaying a commit object in the GUI receiving input from the commit object, transmitting a commitment to the server computer to cause the server computer to establish a smart commodity contract for the commodity, and displaying, in the GUI on the electronic display, a receipt acknowledgement object indicating that the smart contract is established and the first user is obligated to abide by the smart contract.

An electronic payment system, a computer-implemented method, and a computer readable medium having stored thereon a computer executable program code for processing of the electronic medical invoices and reimbursement of medical costs is disclosed herein. The electronic payment system comprises a server operable for execution of an application management component and a set of server applications comprising receiver applications and processing applications, wherein the server comprises a processing unit and a memory storing computer executable code which when executed by the processing unit cases the server to execute the computer-implemented method.

Receiving, sending and managing electronic approvals and receipt invention
11651444 · 2023-05-16 ·

The present application describes a system of managing electronic receipts including a point-of-sale system, a unique identifier detection mechanism, and a server. The point-of-sale system is configured to register a plurality of goods and/or services, comprising a transaction receipt. The unique identifier detection mechanism detects a first unique identifier and a second unique identifier. The server is in communication with the point-of-sale system and includes a processor configured to register the payment of the transaction receipt as a function of the first unique identifier and a memory device is configured to store a database with a plurality of receipt-data storage locations. In response to the approval the payment, the point-of-sale system forwards the second unique identifier and the transaction receipt to the server and stores the transaction receipt within the receipt-data storage location associated with the second unique identifier.

Point-of-sale terminal for transaction handoff and completion employing ephemeral token
11651342 · 2023-05-16 · ·

A method for handoff includes: scanning an ephemeral token displayed on a guest device, where a guest has previously registered a payment instrument with a server, and associated the payment instrument with a plurality of ephemeral tokens, and the server has stored a payment token that associates the plurality of ephemeral tokens with the payment instrument in a database record along with a notification identifier, and where the guest device has received the ephemeral token; transmitting the ephemeral token to the server; simultaneously displaying details for a transaction, where the server has accessed the notification identifier to transmit a push notification to the guest device, and where the guest device is executing a proprietary application that allows for simultaneously displaying details for the transaction; and receiving notification from the server that the transaction is complete, where transaction completion data was entered via the guest device and transmitted to the server.

System, Method, and Apparatus for User-Less Payment on Delivery
20230139749 · 2023-05-04 ·

Described herein are systems, methods, and apparatuses for performing a user-less payment for an item upon its delivery by an unmanned delivery vehicle. The unmanned delivery vehicle may navigate to a delivery location, receive payment information, initiate a payment transaction with a remote server, and release the item at a specified location upon successful completion of the payment transaction. Upon arrival of the unmanned delivery vehicle, a wireless data transmission device may send payment information to a remote server, and the remote server may provide the unmanned delivery vehicle with an indication of whether the item can be released and a specific location at which the item can be released.

Methods and systems for receipt capturing process

A receipt capture tool residing on a customer mobile device may be initiated when a customer completes an in-store or online purchase. The receipt capture tool may prompt the customer to capture an image of a receipt detailing a purchase and an item (e.g., product or service) purchased. For instance, the photo of a physical receipt may be taken by the mobile device, or an electronic receipt or email detailing the purchasing transmitted from a physical merchant or online merchant server may be stored. Receipt information may be extracted and saved with other information pertinent to the item purchased, including warranty information. If the customer needs to return or repair the item purchased at a future date, the receipt and warranty information may be subsequently accessed via their mobile device. The receipt and warranty information may also be stored in a searchable database to facilitate easy retrieval by the customer.

SEARCH ENGINE

A computer implemented search method, to be implemented on a computing device, for identifying a user from a first data store, the first data store comprising a plurality of data records, each data record comprising an identifier proxy category for an identifier proxy data item and an associated user identifier category for a user identifier data item, the method comprising: receiving a set of data items relating to a user interaction, the set of data items comprising an identifier proxy data item; formulating an identifier search query comprising the received identifier proxy data item and sending the identifier search query to the first data store containing the plurality of data records; receiving search results from the first data store in the form of one or more data records in which the identifier proxy data item within each returned search result matches the identifier proxy data item in the search query; outputting a user identifier data item from the returned search results.

DYNAMIC TRANSACTION RECORDS

A transaction record linked to photos taken within geographic or temporal proximity to the various transactions of the record may create a visual way for consumers to interact with their transaction data. Payment transaction data including a customer identifier, a first geo-location of a point-of-sale terminal, and a transaction time stamp may be compared against a second geo-location of a user device associated with the customer identifier. In response to the first geo-location being within a predetermined distance of the second geo-location, an image may be retrieved or created. Transaction records may then show the payment transaction data and the image.
