Shared expense management
Systems and methods are provided for managing shared expenses. The systems and methods may include a financial service provider identifying shared expenses in a customer's transaction history with software application executed on a server or personal computing device. The financial service provider may identify other individuals with whom the customer shares the expense, and send requests for reimbursement on the customer's behalf. The financial service provider ay monitor the status of reimbursement payments, and send reminders as necessary until the shared expense has been reimbursed.
Automated digital method and system of providing or sharing access
Advantageously, the invention is a competitor to money transfer systems. Conventional digital transactions facilitate electronic payment, such as money transfers, payment card charges, e-commerce transactions and other types of transactions. However, payees may be unbanked people (e.g., children) or people with no payment card (e.g., may have lost card), and payment card fund transfers may be expensive, time consuming, and cumbersome for financial institutions. Thus, there is need for an improved approach. The invention discloses an automated digital method of providing or sharing access to a payment card and/or similar financial account or non-card product, transactions between individuals or legal entities without physical transmission of a payment card, non-card product or its credentials, even without a recipient of an access having a payment card and/or financial account or non-card product, particularly by providing or sharing access to a payment card and/or similar financial account or non-card product of a sender.

System and method for virtual currency remittance
[Object] The object is to present a technical solution for a bank to disclose information on a deposit account directly to a third party. [Solution Means] The owner of a virtual currency address or real-currency deposit account provides a disclosure key to a disclosee (third party). The third party accesses a disclosure server 6 by operating a disclosee terminal 7, and transmits a disclosure request with the disclosure key. The disclosure server 6 accesses to an opener bank server 1, 8, acquires the virtual currency address owner information or the instant real-currency deposit account balance information, transmits it to the disclosee terminal 7, and make it browsable on the disclosee terminal 7.
Method, device, and system of detecting mule accounts and accounts used for money laundering
Method, device, and system of detecting a mule bank account, or a bank account used for terror funding or money laundering. A method includes: monitoring interactions of a user with a computing device during online access with a bank account; and based on the monitoring, determining that the bank account is utilized as a mule bank account to illegally receive and transfer money, or is used for money laundering or terror funding. The method takes into account one or more indicators, such as, utilization of a remote access channel, utilization of a virtual machine or a proxy server, unique behavior across multiple different accounts, temporal correlation among operations, detection of a set of operations that follow a pre-defined mule account playbook, detection of multiple incoming fund transfers from multiple countries that are followed by a single outgoing fund transfer to a different country, and other indicators.

Device with built-in bill capture, analysis, and execution
Systems and methods for secure and efficient bill capture, analysis, and execution are provided. A method may include capturing, via a camera embedded in a smart card, an image of a bill. The bill may include a plurality of text fields. The method may include processing the text fields via a microprocessor embedded in the smart card. The method may include determining, based at least in part on the processing of the text fields, a balance amount and a payment recipient associated with the bill. The method may also include executing a payment for the balance amount from an account associated with a user of the smart card to an account associated with the payment recipient. The executing may be performed via a wireless communication element embedded in the smart card which may be configured to provide wireless communication between the smart card and a payment gateway.
System, method, and computer program product for determining an event in a distributed data system
A method for preventing duplicate processing of a payment transaction includes: generating a first data structure with a first predetermined time interval and generating a second data structure with a second predetermined time interval. A first overlap region and second overlap region of the first and second predetermined time interval are defined by a same time interval. The method includes receiving first transaction data associated with a first payment transaction, receiving second transaction data associated with a second payment transaction, and determining based on a first transaction ID and a second transaction ID, that the second payment transaction is a duplicate of the first payment transaction. A computer program product and system for preventing duplicate processing of a payment transaction are also disclosed.
Transaction device, computer program and transaction method
A transaction device is described. The device comprises storage configured to store a first data record comprising first value data and a unique identifier associated with one other device; communications circuitry configured to receive an identifier and second value data from a device; and control circuitry configured to compare the received identifier with the unique identifier and in the event of a positive comparison, the control circuitry is further configured to update the stored first value data in accordance with the exchanged second value data.
Scalable greenhouse gas capture systems and methods
Scalable greenhouse gas capture systems and methods to allow a user to off-load exhaust captured in an on-board vehicle exhaust capture device and to allow for a delivery vehicle or other transportation mechanism to obtain and transport the exhaust. The systems and methods may involve one or more exhaust pumps, each with an exhaust nozzle corresponding to a vehicle exhaust port. Upon engagement with the vehicle exhaust port, the exhaust nozzle may create an air-tight seal between the exhaust nozzle and the vehicle exhaust port. A first pipe may be configured to transport captured exhaust therethrough from the exhaust nozzle to. The captured exhaust may be at least temporarily stored in an exhaust holding tank connected to and in fluid communication with the first pipe.
