A system and method for selective processing of electronic payments such as rent, utility bill payments or debtor settlement payments is disclosed. Payer tenders an electronic payment through a web-based user interface and a notice is transmitted to Payee that funds are available for transfer if Payee chooses to accept the payment. Payee has the opportunity to manually review the details of the incoming payment and can choose to accept the payment, in which case, funds are transferred to Payee, or reject it, in which case the transfer of the funds is cancelled and no payment is made to the Payee. The Payee may also define a set of rules or conditions (including lower acceptance amount or partial conditions in case of negotiations), which would govern the automatic acceptance processing of the transaction.

Provided is a control method including: receiving, from first power equipment, first transaction data including, for example, transmitted power amount information indicating the amount of power transmitted to power accumulation equipment; obtaining, from the power accumulation equipment, received power information including, for example, received power amount information indicating the amount of power received from the first power equipment; verifying the first transaction data by referring to the received power information; executing a first consensus algorithm with second servers when the first transaction data is verified successfully; and recording a block including the first transaction data in a distributed ledger of a first server when the validity of the first transaction data is verified through the first consensus algorithm.

In one embodiment, a method comprises, responsive to a query from a user, retrieving from a database a list of responses comprising one or more health care providers offering one or more health care services at a provider-supplied price; filtering the list of responses based on a geographic location included in the query; providing, for display, the filtered list of responses; receiving a payment from the user for a response selected from the filtered list of responses; automatically sending a notification of the payment to a provider associated with the selected response; and responsive to receiving an order fulfillment notification from the provider, automatically providing the payment to the provider. In this way, health care consumers may make informed purchasing decisions when shopping for health care services and health care providers may receive prompt payment for services delivered.

Systems and methods for an e-commerce health care marketplace are provided. Systems for item validation and image evaluation are provided. In some examples, a system may receive an instrument and associated data. The instrument may be received and at least one of a bill pay profile and a user profile may be retrieved. The bill pay profile and user profile may each include a plurality of previously processed instruments that have been determined to be valid and/or authentic. The instrument may be compared to the plurality of previously processed instruments to determine whether one or more elements of the instrument being evaluated match one or more corresponding elements of the plurality of previously processed instruments. Matching or non-matching elements may be identified. In some examples, one or more user interfaces may be generated displaying the instruments and including any highlighting or enhancements identifying matching or non-matching elements.

Systems for item validation and image evaluation are provided. In some examples, a system may receive an instrument and associated data. The instrument may be received and at least one of a bill pay profile and a user profile may be retrieved. The bill pay profile and user profile may each include a plurality of previously processed instruments that have been determined to be valid and/or authentic. The instrument may be compared to the plurality of previously processed instruments to determine whether one or more elements of the instrument being evaluated match one or more corresponding elements of the plurality of previously processed instruments. Matching or non-matching elements may be identified. In some examples, one or more user interfaces may be generated displaying the instruments and including any highlighting or enhancements identifying matching or non-matching elements.

In one embodiment, a payment service system may receive a request to split a bill between two or more peer users. The request may include information identifying at least the two or more peer users and an amount of the bill to be split. The two or more peer users may be identified based on determining a presence of two or more mobile devices that are respectively associated with the two or more peer users. The payment service system may send a payment request to each mobile device associated with the two or more peer users. The payment service system may receive a response, which may indicate the respective user's approval of a specified amount for payment of a portion of the bill associated with the user. The payment service system may cause a funds transfer based on specified amounts approved by the two or more peer users.

A system for determining whether shoppers are eligible for frictionless checkout is disclosed. The system has a processor that obtains image data captured using image sensors positioned in a retail store. The processor analyzes the image data to identify at least one shopper at one or more locations of the retail store. The processor detects, based on the analysis of the image data, at least one product interaction event associated with an action of the at least one shopper at the one or more locations of the retail store. Further, based on the detected at least one product interaction event, the processor determines whether the at least one shopper is eligible for frictionless checkout. In response to a determination that the at least one shopper is ineligible for frictionless checkout, the processor causes delivery of an indicator that the at least one shopper is ineligible for frictionless checkout.

A computer implemented method for managing charge availability of a charge unit (CU) to obtain charge for a battery of an electric vehicle (EV) is provided. The CU includes a computer for processing at least part of the method and for communicating with a server over a network. The method includes receiving, by the server, status information from the computer of the CU. The method includes sending to the computer of the CU instructions to make a reservation for the CU. The reservation is for a user account that has requested a desire to charge the battery of the electric vehicle of the user at the CU or another CU. The method includes sending, by the server, a confirmation for the reservation to the user account. The confirmation is viewable via a device having access to the server via the user account. The method includes sending, by the server, a data regarding a time of availability of the CU to the user account for the reservation. The computer of the CU is configured to display a visual indicator regarding the reservation of the CU.
