PROFILE ASSOCIATION AND TRANSACTION AUTHORIZATION BASED ON TRANSACTION TYPE
20220237591 · 2022-07-28 ·

A payment service system receives a transaction instrument identifier of a transaction instrument, and associates the transaction instrument with an account associated with a first user. The system identifies rules that identify whether to request authorization from a second user to process respective transactions that involve the transaction instrument and that are associated with one of a set of transaction types. The system receives a transaction indication indicating a request to use the transaction instrument for a transaction. The system determines, based on information about the transaction and the one or more rules, that the transaction is categorized into a first transaction type. The rules indicate that the authorization from the second user is to be requested for the first transaction type. The system receives an authorization to process the transaction from a user device associated with the second user, and automatically facilitates processing of the transaction.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GROUP PAYMENTS
20220253822 · 2022-08-11 ·

Based on detecting a selection, by a first user, of a group payment option on a merchant interface, the computer system launches a user selection user interface that includes one or more user selection interface elements that correspond to one or more users associated with the first user. Based on detecting a selection of one or users, the computer system launches a group payment user interface that includes one or more payment allocation user interface elements that corresponds to a payment allocation for the selected users. Based on detecting a confirmation of a first payment allocation plan, the computer system processes a payment for the purchase and further transmits invoices to the selected users which include an allocated payment amount.

System and method for generating a recommendation

A method of generating recommendations for a collective profile, the collective profile being linked to a first profile and a second profile. The method may include authenticating a login request from an end user device in association with the collective profile based on credentials associated with the first profile, identifying a query from among a plurality of queries and transmit the query to the end user device, receiving a response to the query, determining that the response is not inconsistent with one or more earlier responses received in association with the second profile and, in response, refining at least one attribute or goal in the collective profile based on the response to generate and store a refined collective profile, and determining whether the refined collective profile results in a new recommendation and, if so, outputting the new recommendation.

USER INTERFACES FOR SHARING AN ACCOUNT WITH ANOTHER USER IDENTITY

The present disclosure generally relates to displaying a user interface for sharing an account associated with a first user identity with a second user identity. The user interface includes a first sharing option and a second sharing option. One or more inputs corresponding to a request to share the account are detected. If the one or more inputs include a selection of the first sharing option, a request to invite the second user identity to become a joint owner of the account is transmitted. If the one or more inputs include a selection of the second sharing option, a request to invite the second user identity to become a participant of the account without becoming a joint owner of the account is transmitted.

INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
20220284443 · 2022-09-08 ·

An information processing device stores a unit emission amount that corresponds to GHG emissions per unit sale proceeds of a credit card member store, with respect to each of multiple credit card member stores. The information processing device acquires, from a credit card firm device, payment data associated with a purchase of a product or a service using a corporate card of a company. The payment data include information regarding a member store that has sold the product or service and also include a purchased amount. The information processing device derives GHG emissions associated with a purchase, based on a unit emission amount related to a member store specified by the payment data and also based on a purchased amount specified by the payment data. The information processing device provides, to a company device, information regarding GHG emissions associated with a purchase.

Location-based purchase verification for fund transfers

A method and system of increasing the security of requests to access funds from a joint bank account by secondary users to permit a primary user to securely regulate fund usage are disclosed. The system and method are configured to link to a bank account and restrict access of funds by secondary users per conditions defined by the primary user(s). A software application receives requests for funds from secondary users for use during a transaction to be performed at a specific merchant location. The application requires geodata that supports the proposed transaction, for example by inclusion of an image taken in which GPS data is embedded. The request will only be conveyed to the primary user if the system determines the embedded GPS data corresponds to the location of the merchant.

Electronic device and method for controlling wireless communication connection thereof

Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to an electronic device and a wireless communication connection control method thereof. The method may include: receiving and storing at least one first account information stored in at least one server from a first electronic device via the wireless communication circuit; broadcasting a beacon signal including an indicator indicating that a WiFi access is granted based at least in part on account information related to the server via the wireless communication circuit; receiving at least one second account information from a neighboring electronic device which has received the beacon signal; determining whether the second account information is related to the first account information, based at least in part on data to be exchanged with the server via the wired communication interface; and upon determining that the second account information is related to the first account information, granting the neighboring electronic device an access to the access point in order to use the Internet, without having to request for credential information from the neighboring electronic device. Various other embodiments are also possible.

Systems and methods for pushing usable objects and third-party provisioning to a mobile wallet

A computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a mobile wallet computing system, information relating to a usable object from a party and provisioning, by the mobile wallet computing system, the usable object to a mobile wallet associated with a user. The computer-implemented method further includes receiving, by the mobile wallet computing system, one or more rules relating to the usable object from the party, wherein the one or more rules define an activation condition for the usable object such that when the activation condition is fulfilled the usable object is active in the mobile wallet of the user; determining, by the mobile wallet computing system, whether the activation condition is fulfilled; and in response to the activation condition for the usable object being fulfilled, activating, by the mobile wallet computing system, the usable object in the mobile wallet of the user.

Systems and methods for facilitating a transaction using a virtual card on a mobile device

Systems and methods are provided for facilitating contactless payment using cloud-based wallet containing payment credentials (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, American Express) using a near field communication (NFC)-capable device and payment gateway servers. A user can use their existing payment card, herein referred to as a funding card, for contactless payments. A second payment card, herein referred to as a virtual card, is generated. The virtual card is associated with the funding card on a payment gateway server. The virtual card is used on a NFC-enabled mobile device. When a payment is initiated, the virtual card data is sent through the NFC system from a point of sale terminal. This information is sent to the payment gateway server, which retrieves the funding card to make the payment. The funding card, not the virtual card, is used to transfer the money to make payment.

TOUCHLESS PAYMENT PROCESSING METHODS AND SYSTEMS

Methods, systems and devices directed to touchless payment processing are described. An example embodiment relates to a system that can coordinate an order request and payment processing between a vendor and client. The system can allow for a vendor to prepare an order request for a client that includes a client identifier (e.g., a mobile phone number). The system can then allow for the client device to efficiently provide payment information via a third-party payment processor. Other example embodiments can allow for efficient and contactless (or “touchless”) payment processing for goods/services by a vendor. Furthermore, the described systems can limit access to specific information (e.g., payment data, client data) to only authorized individuals associated with the vendor, which can mitigate/prevent unauthorized access to various information included in a vendor interface.
