Provided is a method and a telephone-based system with voice-verification capabilities that enable a user to safely and securely conduct transactions with his or her online financial transaction program account over the phone in a convenient and user-friendly fashion, without having to depend on an internet connection.

TIME-BASED NANO-TRANSACTION SYSTEM FOR REDUCING UNSOLICITED COMMUNICATIONS
20210014359 · 2021-01-14 ·

A telecommunications system for selectively connecting originator nodes to recipient nodes includes an account database with one or more accounts each associated with corresponding ones of the originator nodes and the recipient nodes. There is a contacts database with recipient contact lists each associated with a specific one of the accounts of the recipient nodes. A transaction processor is receptive to an incoming telecommunications initiation request, which includes a recipient node identifier and a nano-transaction payment submission defined at least by a payment amount. The transaction processor responsively directs the establishment of the telecommunications link between the one of the originator nodes and the one of the recipient nodes upon receipt of the telecommunications initiation request. The nano-transaction payment submission is settled based at least in part upon an active duration of the telecommunications link.

Service Machine
20210012330 · 2021-01-14 ·

This document describes a system and method for activating a service machine. The system and method enables a previous customer of goods or services to provide evidence of a previous purchase and be granted access to use the service machine based on the previous purchase. A network based system is described where verification may be performed remotely. Stand-alone mechanisms are also presented where verification can be performed through more direct interactions with the service machine.

FACILITATING PAYMENT WITH SMARTPHONE, AT POINT OF SALE, OF AMOUNT OWED PLUS AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATED GRATUITY
20200410462 · 2020-12-31 ·

A method includes receiving a payment object for payment of a certain amount owed by a first party to a second party. The payment object carries sufficient account information for the payment from an account associated with the payment object. The second party communicates the account information from the payment object and an identification of the second party for receipt by a third party; and receives in return data that is indicative of a gratuity to be charged against the account. The second party prints a document that includes the certain amount owed and the gratuity, as indicated by the data received by the second party, and presents the document for signature by the first party. The printed document preferably includes the total of the amount owed and the gratuity. The payment object may be a credit card, charge card, debit card, rebate card, or stored-value card.

Data Capacity Sharing Server, Method And System For Sharing Data Capacity Donated By Terminal
20200413484 · 2020-12-31 ·

The present invention relates to a server, a method and a system for allowing a user terminal to receive and use a data capacity shared by a donor terminal, and provide a reward that is as much as the data capacity shared by the donor terminal and provide, to the user terminal, charging information corresponding to the use of data, thereby enabling a fair and meaningful compensation system.

BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION DURING VOICE DATA TRANSFERS
20200389451 · 2020-12-10 ·

There are provided systems and methods for biometric authentication during voice data transfers. A user may initiate voice communications with a service provider endpoint that provides automated services to the user through the voice or audio communications, such as an interactive voice response (IVR) system where a user may navigate menus through audio commands. The user may by required to authenticate their identity during the phone call or other voice data transfer, which may be done by entering a biometric, such as a fingerprint. The biometric may be converted to biometric feature data and provided to one or more token service providers. The token service providers may provide one or more tokens for the biometric, which may be used as the authentication token. This token may then be transmitted to the IVR system through the user's endpoint using a dialer feature of the endpoint.

AUTOMATIC RECHARGING OF DATA QUOTA FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF TRANSACTION

A method, computing system, and computer program product are provided. A processor of a computer system estimates an amount of bandwidth to be used to complete a transaction based on a usage history. Responsive to determining that the amount of the estimated bandwidth to be used exceeds a predefined threshold of an amount of available bandwidth and to determining that an account has any offers for additional bandwidth at no additional cost, the amount of available bandwidth is automatically recharged using at least some of the any offers until either the any offers are exhausted or the estimated amount of the bandwidth to be used would be less than the predefined threshold. When the estimated amount of the bandwidth to be used continues to exceed the predefined threshold, the bandwidth is automatically recharged using an advanced amount of bandwidth to increase a likelihood that the transaction will complete successfully.

Systems and methods for use in providing enhanced authentication of consumers

Systems and methods are provided for use in enhancing security associated with services related to payment or banking accounts, in connection with communication between consumers and consumer service call centers associated with the accounts. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a computing device, a request to authenticate a consumer to a payment or banking account from a call center associated with consumer services for the account, and soliciting a biometric from the consumer. The method also includes receiving biometric data from a communication device associated with the consumer relating to the solicited biometric, and confirming the received biometric data based on reference biometric data for the consumer. The method then further includes transmitting an authentication confirmation to the call center, when the received biometric data is confirmed, whereby the call center is able to proceed in providing the consumer services to the consumer with or without security questions.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING PRE-CHARGEBACK DISPUTE RECORDS
20200349567 · 2020-11-05 ·

An insight data computing system for generating a pre-chargeback record for a payment transaction between a customer and a merchant is provided. The payment transaction is authorized over a payment processing network based on transaction data submitted over the payment processing network. The transaction data is stored by the payment processing network in a historical transaction database. The insight data computing system includes an insight data interface computing device programmed to (i) receive, via an insight communication channel other than the payment processing network, an insight data message including insight data and transaction link data, (ii) store the insight data in an insight database, (iii) link the insight data to the transaction data by matching the transaction link data in the insight data to the transaction data in the historical transaction database, and (iv) generate the pre-chargeback record including the transaction data and the linked insight data.
