Real-time usage detection of software applications
A system and method that allows for information relating to data and communication resource usage to be gathered and analyzed such that particular data transactions and usage of network accessible software applications can be classified based on purpose and/or type. Further, the system and method provide reporting based on amount of usage and/or purpose or type of usage so that associated costs and usage can be calculated applied and allocated to particular accounts, divisions, groups or individuals within and outside of a company or entity. Further, the system may disable features of or access to network accessible software applications based on lack or use, limited use or other metrics that fall outside of threshold ranges or values.
Mobile payment system and method using a mobile payment device without an installed application
A mobile payment method includes the steps of providing a mobile payment device having mobile payment capability and a mobile identity. Providing transaction information for a transaction and sending the transaction information to a server. The server prepares a URL link containing the transaction information and sends the URL link to the mobile payment device using the mobile identity. Clicking on the URL link sets up a HTTPS session and program script and validation token are downloaded to the mobile device. The payment can then proceed.
System and method for using flexible circuitry in payment accessories
Systems and methods are described related to using flexible circuitry in a payment accessory. In one embodiment, a payment device comprises a computing device and a memory. The computing device is configured to store a first biometric identifier for a first user and a second biometric identifier for a second user. The first biometric identifier is associated with a first transaction account and the second biometric identifier is associated with a second transaction account. A scanned biometric identifier of the first user is received. The first user is authenticated by matching the scanned biometric identifier to the first biometric identifier. The transponder is activated in response to matching the scanned biometric identifier to the first biometric identifier. The first transaction account is transmitted to a point of sale (POS) device for processing the payment transaction based on the first biometric identifier being linked with the first transaction account.
MONEY TRANSFER BY USE OF A PAYMENT PROXY
In some examples, a payment service system receives a request to associate a proxy identifier with a user account of a charity. The proxy identifier is individually distinguishable from other proxy identifiers associated with user accounts of other users, and has a syntax including a symbol and a string of one or more characters. The symbol and the string are concatenated such that the symbol appears immediately before the string. The payment service system receives, via an application on a user device of a user, an input associated with the proxy identifier, and performs a database lookup to identify the user account associated with the proxy identifier. Information associated with the user account of the charity is presented via a user interface presented by the application. The user interface enables the user to donate funds from a financial account of the user to the user account of the charity.
DIGITAL ASSET DISTRIBUTION BY TRANSACTION DEVICE
A user can associate a digital asset corresponding to a value with a transaction device to be used by another user. For example, a first user can load a digital asset corresponding to a cryptocurrency amount onto a transaction device, where the first user then provides the transaction device to a second user. The second user can utilize the cryptocurrency amount on the transaction device to conduct a transaction. The generation and use of digital assets can be managed using ledgers that store data in the form of block chains.
PAYMENT APPLICATION BASED FUND TRANSFER
Various embodiments are related to apparatuses and methods for enabling a sender to perform monetary transactions for a requestor. A sender can use, for example, a payment application associated with a payment processing system to perform a monetary transaction for a requestor. The payment processing system can send information related to the monetary transaction to, for example, a sender-requestor association component. When the monetary transaction is a deposit, the sender can receive funds for the deposit from the requestor. The platform can debit the requestor’s financial account for the deposit amount and credit the sender’s financial account with the debit account as a physical cash transaction occurs between the sender and the requestor.
QUICK TRANSACTION COMPLETION USING MOBILE DEVICE
A notification of a selection of a code displayed by a user computing device is received at a transaction processing server. One or more user identifiers associated with the user computing device are determined. Each user identifier identifies a user account at an online system and is determined based on a session with the online system active on the user computing device. Using the determined user identifiers, a user account including a mobile device identifier and user financial information is accessed. A request for user input is sent to a mobile device identified by the mobile device identifier. The request for user input includes a request for completion of a physical act on the mobile device by the user. Responsive to receiving an indication that the physical act was provided at the mobile device, the financial information is transmitted to a merchant server for conducting a financial transaction.
Method for Payment of an Order to be Forwarded to one of a Plurality of Client Establishments
An intelligent interface responds to a received order by initiating payment from an electronic wallet. An IP network interface receives requests. From the requests, an order program receives an order destined to a client establishment. A response is generated with payment options from an electronic wallet associated with the source phone number. Selection of one of the payment options in the response causes the order program to process the payment for the order from the electronic wallet and forward the order to the client establishment.
ALERT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH REAL-TIME REMEDIATION AND INTEGRATION WITH THE EXCEPTION ORIGINATING SYSTEM
An alert management and real-time remediation system is disclosed. The system may receive, from an institution, an electronic file that includes an exception information (EI) data structure comprising exception information representing events and customers associated with the events, and a contact information data structure comprising an electronic address for each customer. The system may automatically parse the EI into events associated with the customers, and for each customer, send an event notification message (EN) to the electronic address of the customer, wherein the event notification message includes a link to an authentication interface of the institution associated with the customer. Responsive to the customer being authenticated by the authentication interface, providing a user interface to the electronic customer device for display to the customer, wherein the user interface displays information for each event associated with the customer and display elements from which a user may select, including a display element for a payment option; and responsive to the customer selecting the payment option, generating and sending a payment message to the institution.
Efficient and secure communication using wireless service identifiers
Systems and methods are provided for reducing communications between servers and a mobile device and providing enhanced security and privacy to wireless beacon services. This can involve a broadcast device transmitting a beacon transmission using a short range wireless radio, such a Bluetooth or WiFi, and including a MAC address, a first unique identifier, and a beacon service identifier. The mobile device then selects one or more unique identifiers from received beacon transmissions, by filtering (that is, selecting) those beacon transmissions which include the beacon service identifier. The wireless device then takes further action, if the first unique identifier is present among the selected one or more unique identifiers, using stored information from the server. The stored information may be delivered to the wireless device in response to the wireless device sending the first unique identifier to a server, or the stored information may have been previously downloaded.
