SECURELY PROCESSING EXCHANGE ITEMS IN A DATA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A data communication system comprises an enterprise storage and an enterprise server. The enterprise storage includes an exchange item database, an agreements database, and a rules database. The enterprise server operably coupled to the enterprise storage, wherein the enterprise server is operable to validate exchange items and create records in the exchange item database for validated exchange items. The enterprise server is further operable to securely transfer a selected exchange item from a first computing device to a second computing device. The enterprise server is further operable to authorize utilization of the selected exchange item in accordance with an agreement of the agreements database. The enterprise server is further operable to securely modify the data of the selected exchange item in accordance with rules from the rules database to produce an updated record regarding the selected exchange item and store the updated record in the exchange item database.

In one embodiment, the decentralized and distributed IT marketplace platform is based on the blockchain technology. In one embodiment, a blockchain-based IT marketplace platform provides a decentralized supply chain for IT assets and financial services and establishes a self-regulating and trustless marketplace of connected consumers, producers, and financiers. In one embodiment, the blockchain-based IT marketplace platform enables developing, executing, financing and monetizing modern, cloud native, enterprise compute infrastructure and software applications.

Distributed ledger system for automated claim adjudication
11699131 · 2023-07-11 · ·

In one aspect, a distributed ledger system include a first network node configured to detect a triggering condition for processing a claim; collect user and broker information for processing the claim; convert the information from a first computer-readable format to a second computer-readable format; validate the converted information based on corresponding digital signatures; generate claim state objects based on the validated information to be used by each node of the distributed ledger system to execute a smart contract for processing the claim; receive one or more updated claim state objects from a second network node reflecting updated processing status of the claim to be used by each node of the distributed ledger system to execute the smart contract for processing the claim; and process the claim based on results of execution of the smart contract using the one or more updated claim state objects.

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for detecting and preventing suspicious payment card authorization attempts at a merchant level. A computing device may receive a plurality of authorization attempts and store the plurality of authorization attempts in a database. Each authorization attempt may correspond to an attempted transaction and may be associated with a respective merchant. The computing device may generate a database query configured to retrieve a first plurality of authorization attempts corresponding to a first merchant. The database query may be generated based on first criteria corresponding to a first notification rule, and the first criteria may be configured to detect a pattern of authorization attempts at a given merchant and associated with a potential account testing attack. The computing device may determine a suspicious status for the merchant and perform one or more actions associated with the merchant.

Method and system to delegate issuance capability to a third-party

Delegating issuance capability to a third-party of fungible digital assets involves a central (e.g., central bank) processor receiving a request to issue fungible digital assets from a third-party node; verifying the request; validating request to issue fungible digital assets from the third-party; approving or rejecting the request; if the request to issue fungible digital assets is approved, creating an issuance authorization message; executing a smart contract clause to add an entity of the third-party node to a list of authorized entities; publishing the issuance authorization message on a blockchain indicating that a third-party node has been added to the list of authorized entities; and publishing a revocation message on the blockchain revoking an authorization granted to the third-party node to issue digital assets.

IDENTIFYING ELECTRONIC DEVICES USING TEMPORALLY CHANGING INFORMATION

Described are systems and methods to verify the identity of an evaluated device that has been previously identified and evaluated remotely from a reader device. The reader device obtains from an evaluated device temporally changing information, where the temporally changing information includes a unique identifier associated with the evaluated device and a proximity indication. The reader device verifies the temporally changing information by verifying that the unique identifier is contained in the temporally changing information, that the unique identifier is stored in a database associated with the reader device, and that the temporally changing information includes the proximity indication indicating that the evaluated device and the reader device are proximate to each other. Upon verifying the temporally changing information, the reader device obtains the price of the evaluated device, based on the unique identifier associated with the evaluated device. Upon obtaining the price of the evaluated device, the system compensates a user associated with the evaluated device.

An option is set on a payment card of a card issuer. A request for payment for a transaction is received by a payment server of the card issuer from a merchant device/server. The payment server requests and receives a one-time token based on the option. An authorization indicating payment was successful is sent from the payment server to the merchant device/server with a flag set, the token, and a network address. Merchant device/server identifies the flag obtains the token and sends an e-receipt for the transaction along with the token to the network address. The e-receipt accessible from the network address by a consumer associated with the transaction. Furthermore, the e-receipt is obtained by the consumer without registering personal information or contact information with the merchant, which preserves the anonymity of the consumer with respect to the merchant.

Crowdsourced, Blockchain Computerized System and Method of Developing, Evaluating, and Funding Movies
20230011617 · 2023-01-12 · ·

A computerized system and method are disclosed for operating a crowdsourced and block-chained screenplay writing contest enabling writing submissions and financial transactions for each contest that are recorded on a blockchain account accessible by the contest participants to ensure they are paid fairly for their creative contributions. A screenplay writing contest is posted online; and a plurality of participants buy-in to a contest pool, sign a Smart Contract transferring ownership of their writing to the host, and upload their writing sample, which is timestamped and recorded on the system and/or the blockchain. Each writing submission is graded by at least one analyst, e.g. using an algorithm; and contest winners and contributors are selected. The buy-in pool is converted to blockchain tokens; and a portion of the revenue generated from selling the screenplay and movie tickets is paid into the pool; and distributed to contest participants in different earned amounts.

METHOD AND COMPUTER SYSTEM ADAPTED FOR PERFORMING DIGITAL ASSET DONATION TRANSACTIONS FOR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
20230011577 · 2023-01-12 ·

In a method and computer system adapted for performing digital asset donation transactions for nonprofit organizations (NPOs), at least one of one or more computing devices ingests digital donation assets from one or more donors intended for a NPO, and then tokenizes the ingested digital donation assets using stablecoin to provide tokenized assets. The tokenized assets are then processed for transfer via ACH to the NPO.

RESOURCE TRANSFER METHOD AND APPARATUS, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND COMPUTER DEVICE

A second blockchain system receives a first consensus message from a first blockchain system, the first blockchain system includes first nodes that provide services to at least a first account, and the second blockchain system includes second nodes that provide services to at least a second account. The first consensus message indicates a first plurality of the first nodes reaches a consensus for transferring a resource from the first account to the second account. The second blockchain system transfers the resource in the task to the second account. The transferring includes that a node in the second nodes adds the resource to the second account and generates a fourth block that records a completion of a transfer event. A second consensus message is transmitted from the second blockchain system to the first blockchain system in response to a second plurality of the second nodes completing the transfer event.
