TARGETED ALERTS FOR FOOD PRODUCT RECALLS
A system and associated method may utilize a processor that receives recall product instance group (RPIG) information (RPIGI) identifying a set of instances of products having a product type identifier (PTI) that are a subject of a product recall. The processor receives, from an imaging device associated with a user, an image containing a product instance. The method further comprises applying a classifier and determining a PTI. Based on the image, secondary product information is also identified. These may be compared with the RPIGI to determine a product instance membership. Information related to the product instance membership in the RPIG may be displayed.
Systems for providing service notifications to a product
A domestic appliance comprising communication circuitry and a processing system, including at least one processor, may be coupled to the communication circuitry. The processing system may be configured to: receive, using the communication circuitry, service data from a server, the service data including a service code identifying one or more services that need to be performed on the domestic appliance; disable, based on the received service code, one or more features of the domestic appliance; and in response to an input indicating that the one or more services corresponding to the service code have been performed on the domestic appliance, enable the one or more features of the domestic appliance that were disabled.
Targeted recall of semiconductor devices based on manufacturing data
A system for providing a targeted recall includes a metrology sub-system for performing in-line measurements on semiconductor dies after one or more fabrication steps to generate in-line measurement profiles, a failure analysis sub-system for determining a manufacturing fingerprint of a failed die, and a controller. The metrology sub-system may further perform one or more measurements of the semiconductor dies after one or more packaging steps to generate package characterization profiles. The controller may generate manufacturing fingerprints for the semiconductor dies based on the in-line measurement profiles and the package characterization profiles, which are referenced to unique electronic chip identifiers. The controller may further identify at-risk dies by comparing the manufacturing fingerprints of the semiconductor dies with the manufacturing fingerprint of the failed die and direct a targeted recall for the one or more at-risk dies.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSOCIATING TIRE INFORMATION WITH TOWABLE RIG INFORMATION
A computerized method for associating at least one tire, a rig, and a consumer of the at least one tire and the rig with one another includes receiving a tire identification number (TIN) with a tire in a database record maintained in a database by a computer. The method further includes receiving a vehicle identification number (VIN) with a rig in the database record, and receiving and linking by the computer at least one TIN with the VIN in the database record when the corresponding tire is assembled to the corresponding rig to configure a trailer, and receiving a consumer identifier of the trailer in the database record for association with the corresponding tire and the corresponding rig.
BUYBACK PROVISION MECHANISM
Methods and systems for buyback provisioning. A risk level for each of a plurality of items at risk of losing market value is computed and the plurality of items at risk of losing market value are differentiated based on the corresponding risk levels. An identity of candidate substitute items is learned by communicating with a distribution system and one or more of the candidate substitute items to exchange for one of the plurality of items are identified based on one or more contextual factors. An exchange of the item and at least one of the candidate substitute items is facilitated, the facilitating comprising highlighting the item on a graphical user interface to indicate that the item is losing value or is at risk of losing value.
INVENTORY SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
The present disclosure is also directed to a system for managing inventory within a dispenser that is configured to maintain a known inventory and is configured to transmit inventory values from the dispenser so that other users can review the inventory values. Also, the dispenser is configured to be accessed by users locally and through an internet connection so that the inventory can be reviewed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGEMENT OF RETURN ITEMS
A method for collecting returned items or information about returned items and evaluating return policy criteria with respect to collected items, and a system for the same, are disclosed. The method includes providing a station, such as a kiosk terminal, preferably at a pharmacy location. The station includes a computer and a user interface including a touch screen interface. Items, for example, pharmaceutical items to be returned are brought to the station. The user enters information at the station, such as by scanning a bar code on a container of the item, weighing the item or its contents, and entering lot number and expiration date associated with the item. A system and method for facilitating recalls is also provided.
AUTOMATED SMART STORAGE OF PRODUCTS
Automated, environmentally monitored and controlled storage units and systems for storing, monitoring, and maintaining a supply of products, particularly temperature sensitive pharmaceutical and/or other high-value products, be they temperature sensitive or not. Such automated storage units contain an array of independently addressable holding locations for containers with product in one or more environmentally monitored (e.g., for temperature, humidity, etc.) and controlled zones fitted with appropriate environmental sensors. In preferred embodiments, the automated storage units also include a reader to track product information and status. Product loading, retrieval, and movement within such automated storage units is performed by a computer-controlled robot. A user interface device, preferably in communication with an application service provider to provide remotely managed inventory management and other services, provides users with inventory- and product-specific information.
INDUSTRIAL INTERNET OF THINGS (IIoT) METHOD FOR CUSTOMER ALERTS PERTAINING TO INSTRUMENTATION
Techniques for notification concerning recall or notification of non-conformance of an industrial instrument product are provided. A module associated with the instrument communicates with the vendor of the instrument over a wide-area communications link or internet link. When the module receives an alert notice from the vendor pertaining to recall or non-conformance of the instrument, the module transmits the alert information to the customer or an associate of the customer having a responsibility for the instrument. The module may also cause the alert information and diagnostic, maintenance, or update information to be displayed on a display device of the instrument.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ANALYTIC (AIA) SERVICES FOR PERFORMANCE PREDICTION
One embodiment of the present invention predicts a vehicular event relating to machinal performance using information obtained from interior and exterior sensors, vehicle onboard computer (VOC), and cloud data. The process of predication is able to activate interior and exterior sensors mounted on a vehicle operated by a driver for obtaining current data relating to external surroundings, interior settings, and internal mechanical conditions of the vehicle. After forwarding the current data to VOC to generate a current vehicle status representing real-time vehicle performance in accordance with the current data, retrieving a historical data associated with the vehicle including mechanical condition is retrieved. In one aspect, a normal condition signal is issued when the current vehicle status does not satisfy with the optimal condition based on the historical data. Alternatively, a race car condition is issued when the current vehicle status meets with the optimal condition.
