A damage assessment module operating on a computer system automatically evaluates a property, estimating damage to the property by analyzing a point cloud of a property. The damage assessment module identifies individual point clusters or segments from the point cloud and detects potentially damaged areas of the property surface by identifying outlier points in the point clusters. The damage assessment module may be used to determine the financial cost of the damage and/or determine whether the property should be replaced or repaired. In addition to eliminating the need for an estimator to visit the property in person, the damage assessment module improves the consistency and accuracy associated with estimating damage to a property.

Methods and systems for data collection in an environment including pumps and fans are disclosed. A monitoring system may include a data collector communicatively coupled to a plurality of input channels, wherein the input channels are communicatively coupled to sensors measuring operational parameters of a pump or fan. A data storage may store one or more frequencies related to an operation of the pump or fan, and a data acquisition circuit may interpret a plurality of detection values from the collected data. A frequency evaluation circuit may detect a signal on one of the input channels at a frequency higher than the one or more frequencies at which the pump or fan operates.

A system and method for collecting and managing property information is disclosed. The system and method allow for buyers, sellers, agents and other parties that may have relevant information for a real estate transaction to collect and/or view property information stored in a property information storage system. The system and method include a virtual property notebook that facilitates collecting data about properties so that the information can be added to the property information storage system. Users are guided through a property using the virtual property notebook running as a software application on a remote device. The remote device can be used to collect image information. Users may be instructed to further inspect a property structure such as an appliance that the system has automatically detected. The system and method further include a prediction system that can provide estimated property values based on collected information.

The present disclosure relates to a system and method for determining a like grade and value or range of values for collectible cards. The system is configured to perform a method comprising: providing a graded card database comprising identifying attributes, physical characteristics, and grade information of each of graded cards, wherein the grade information comprises grade and corresponding grading entity of the graded cards; receiving at least one image of an object card; determining identifying attributes and physical characteristics of the object card based on the at least one image; selecting, from the graded card database, a comparison group including potentially a plurality of comparison cards based on the identifying attribute of the object card; determining a similarity between the object card and each comparison card based on the physical characteristic; and determining a likely grade for the object card based on the similarity. A card value database with information of traded card may be additionally provided and a likely value or range of values may be determined.

In particular, the embodiment described may be used by a mobile phone owner to submit his/her mobile phone for recycling via an electronic kiosk and receive compensation in some form. The present embodiments relate to systems and methods for using a blockchain to record information related to the lifecycle of a vehicle associated with a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), or other vehicle identifier. For example, the VIN lifecycle process may be used to ensure the transferability of title, including when information relevant to transferability is not easily determinable, such as after a collision occurs. The systems and methods may include the reception of a mileage report corresponding to a vehicle and updating a blockchain to associate the vehicle with mileage information. The systems and methods described herein may allow for using a blockchain which gives the option for private information, and permissioned participants in the blockchain. In particular, the systems and methods allow for a distributed consensus amongst businesses, consumers, and authorities, as to the validity of information and transactions stored on the blockchain.

Consumer operated kiosks for recycling electronic devices are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the kiosk includes a rotatable inspection plate configured to receive an electronic device when the inspection plate is in a first position. The kiosk can include a camera having a field of view including at least a portion of the inspection plate. The kiosk can include a wired and/or wireless connectivity device configured to connect to the electronic device and one or more processors configured to: receive characteristic information about the electronic device via the wired and/or wireless connectivity device; cause the inspection plate to rotate to a second position; receive one or more images of the electronic device via the camera when the inspection plate is in the second position; and facilitate determination of an offer price for the electronic device based at least in part on the characteristic information and the one or more images.

A platform configured to provide virtual glass in order to augment and improve focus group sessions for each actor within the ecosystem. The platform may be configured to allow a moderator, one or more test subjects, and one or more client users to participate in a focus group session at geographically diverse locations. The platform may also be configured to supplement the focus group experience by allowing for dialog and communication between the client users. In some cases, the platform may also be configured to generate and provide real time status indicators associate with the tests subject, real time text-based transcripts of the sessions, and recommendations as to the focus group direction to the moderator.

A system is provided for sending a drone to a target on request. The system includes a server provided in communication with a plurality of mobile technology platforms, each of which having an instance of a particular software installed therein. The software contains programming instructions configured to transmit a request from a user for a drone. The system, upon receiving a transmitted request for a drone from one of the plurality of mobile technology platforms, dispatches a drone to fly to a specified target and provides the user with at least partial control of the drone's flight or of media capture by the drone based on the location of the drone relative to a geofence associated with the target.

Embodiments for determining a traded item's value are described herein. An embodiment includes identifying conditions for use in computing a value of the tradable object. The embodiment further includes determining whether a condition is satisfied based on market data, for example, and if the condition is satisfied, then determining the value of the item based on a rule associated with the condition; and if the condition is not satisfied, then determining whether a subsequent condition is satisfied. If a subsequent condition is satisfied, then determining the value of the tradable object based on a rule associated with the subsequent condition. An embodiment further includes computing an open profit and loss value based on the item's value. Other embodiments are also disclosed.
