Downstream tracking of content consumption
An example operation may include one or more of storing, within a blockchain, a request comprising an identifier of content and a value of a user who created the content, detecting consumption of a reusable instance of the content by a second user, designating fractional values of the content to the first and second users based on the detected consumption of the reusable instance, and storing, within the blockchain, a second request comprising an identifier of the reusable instance of the content, identifiers of the first and second users, and the designated fractional values of the content to the first and second users.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LICENSE MANAGEMENT
A method for license management. The method includes making a first determination by a local license server of a coordination point that a feature license that is not available on the local license server is required by the local license server. The method further includes, based on the first determination: sending, by the coordination point, a license availability request to an auto activation server, receiving, by the coordination point and from the auto activation server, information about available feature licenses, and sending, by the local license server of the coordination point to a central license manager, an activation request specifying the feature license. The specified feature license is one of the available feature licenses. The method further includes, in response to sending the activation request: receiving, by the local license server from the central license manager, an activated feature license.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LICENSE MANAGEMENT OF NETWORK ELEMENTS
A method for license management. The method includes receiving a first license request for a feature from a network element and in response to the first license request, making a first determination that no feature licenses of a first type are available for the feature. The method further includes based on the first determination, making a second determination that a feature license of a second type is available for the feature, and providing the feature license of the second type to the network element.
Forward market renewable energy credit prediction from human behavioral data
Systems and methods for predicting forward market pricing for renewable energy credit based on human behavioral data are disclosed. An example transaction-enabling system may include a forward market circuit to access a forward energy credit market and a market forecasting circuit to automatically generate a forecast for a forward market price of an energy credit in the forward energy credit market where the forecast is based at least in part on a human behavior information collected from at least one human behavioral data source. The example system may further include wherein the energy credit includes a renewable energy credit associated with a renewable energy system, and a smart contract circuit to perform at least one of selling the renewable energy credit or purchasing the renewable energy credit on the forward energy credit market in response to the forecasted forward market price of the energy credit.
Systems, Methods and Architectures for Dynamic Re-Evaluation of Rights Management Rules for Policy Enforcement on Downloaded Content
A control logic component at the server side may, responsive to a request to access protected content residing on a client machine, dynamically evaluate one or more rules. The request may be received from a client application running on the client machine by a rights management services server or by an agent running on the client machine. In some embodiments, the control logic component can be hosted in a cloud computing environment, on an enterprise server, or provided as a service. Each rule may reference a policy such as a digital rights management policy. The control logic component may determine, based on condition(s) set forth in the rule, if any policy is current and applicable to the protected content and communicate its findings to the requesting server or agent such that they can take appropriate action to protect the downloaded content.
DATA PAYMENT AND AUTHENTICATION VIA A SHARED DATA STRUCTURE
The disclosed embodiments relate generally to complex data stream control and entitlement. Specifically, the disclosed embodiments provide systems and methods for ensuring that only authenticated/verified participants receive data streams. A third party, e.g., a party other than the data provider or the data recipient, who is nevertheless associated with both the data provider and the data recipient, may be involved in controlling whether data streams from the data provider can reach the data recipient. Thus, a third party may logically sit between the data provider and the data recipient, and may decide whether the data recipient should receive data streams. The disclosed embodiments implement data generation, flow, control and permissioning between multiple entities via digital assets accessed and manipulated on a shared data structure.
MOBILE APPLICATION LICENSING TOOL
The disclosure relates to mobile applications and, more particularly, to systems and processes for providing a licensing framework in mobile applications developed in a web-based integrated development environment (IDE). The method includes: providing a licensing framework for a computer application residing on a computing device, the computer application being configured to access services through one or more backend services; receiving call ups from the computing device to determine whether usage of the computer application complies with the licensing framework; and providing enforcement mechanisms which affect at least one of services and functionality associated with the computer application based on a state of compliance with the licensing framework.
Digital content management
Methods for managing digital content are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a succession plan request from a first user device to initiate a succession plan to designate ownership rights to digital content owned by an owner associated with the first user device and an owner account. The method includes receiving succession information of at least one successor. The method includes determining whether payment associated with the owner account is missed. The method includes transmitting, in response to determining that payment is missed, a notification to the first user device notifying the owner that payment is missed. The method includes archiving the digital content. The method includes transmitting a first communication to the at least one successor to accept ownership of the digital content. The method includes designating ownership of the digital content to the at least one successor. System and machine-readable media are also provided.
RENDERING
This document describes methods, systems and computer program products related to cloud-based rendering. The subject matter of this document is embodied in a method that includes receiving, at a server, information associated with a job of rendering one or more frames at the server, and using, at the server, an application to perform at least a portion of the rendering. The use of the application to perform the rendering bears a charge according to a usage license associated with the application. The method also includes measuring, at the server, an amount of use of the application in performing the rendering for use in determining the charge.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING CONTENT IN STORAGE-BASED SECURITY SYSTEM
The present invention provides a method for reproducing a content stored in a storage device connected through at least one interface, the method comprising the steps of: transmitting transaction information stored in a detected storage device to a license server, wherein the transaction information includes a transaction identification file which identifies at least one of a corresponding transaction, a seller, and a user; receiving, from the license server, license information which grants permission to reproduce the content; and reproducing the content on the basis of the license information, wherein the license information includes a license file and a license key.
