IMAGE-PROCESSING OF IMAGE DATASETS OF PATIENTS
A method is provided for image-processing an image dataset acquired from a patient by a medical imaging apparatus, (e.g., an X-ray apparatus), wherein the image dataset includes image values associated with image points, and depicts an acquisition region of the patient containing at least one object, (e.g., a medical device), to be enhanced, which is represented by image values within an image-value interval. The method includes determining a non-linearly high-pass filtered enhancement dataset, which is confined to an image portion containing image values lying in the image-value interval. The method also includes determining a result dataset by adding to the image dataset the enhancement dataset weighted by a weighting value. The method further includes outputting the result dataset.
BIOMETRIC BASED SELF-SOVEREIGN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
The present teaching relates to method, system, medium, and implementations for authenticating a user. An authentication session is initiated to authenticate, via iris, a person claiming to be an authorized user. An obfuscation configuration is retrieved with respect to the authorized user and used to determine a sub-obfuscation configuration in accordance with information associated with the authentication session. A set of expected features associated with the sub-obfuscation configuration is obtained. One or more pictures are captured from the iris of the person who is expected to carry out at least one obfuscation measure consistent with the sub-obfuscation configuration for the authorized user in accordance with the information related to the authentication session and are used to determine whether the person is live based on the set of expected features associated with the sub-obfuscation configuration.
Imaging capturing device and imaging capturing method
An imaging device includes: an optical system which obtains an optical image of a photographic subject; an image sensor which converts the optical image to an electric signal; a digital signal processor which produces image data based on the electric signal; a display section which displays a photographic subject image expressed by the image data; and an operating section which performs a necessary setting regarding imaging, the digital signal processor including: an autofocus operation section which performs an autofocus operation based on data of an autofocus area set in the photographic subject image; a main area setting section which sets a main area in the photographic subject image; and a blurring operation section which performs a blurring operation on an area other than the main area in the photographic subject image, wherein the autofocus area is set automatically to overlap with at least a part of the main area.
PER-PIXEL FILTER
Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods for per-pixel filtering. In some implementations, a method includes obtaining an image data frame. In some implementations, the image data frame includes a plurality of pixels. In some implementations, the method includes generating a respective pixel characterization vector for each of the plurality of pixels. In some implementations, each pixel characterization vector includes an object label indicating an object type that the corresponding pixel of the plurality of pixels represents. In some implementations, the method includes modifying corresponding pixel data of the plurality of pixels having a first object label. In some implementations, the method includes synthesizing a first modified image data frame that includes modified pixel data for the plurality of pixels having the first object label and unmodified pixel data for the plurality of pixels not having the first object label.
BOUNDARY-AWARE OBJECT REMOVAL AND CONTENT FILL
Systems and methods for removing objects from images are disclosed. An image processing application identifies a boundary of each object of a set of objects in an image. In some cases, the identification uses deep learning. The image processing application identifies a completed boundary for each object of the set of objects by providing the object to a trained model. The image processing application determines a set of masks. Each mask corresponds to an object of the set of objects and represents a region of the image defined by an intersection of the boundary of the object and the boundary of a target object to be removed from the image. The image processing application updates each mask by separately performing content filling on the corresponding region. The image processing application creates an output image by merging each of the updated masks with portions of the image.
MEDICINE INSPECTION DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A medicine inspection device, an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program are provided that appropriately extract identification information even when the positional relationship between a printed character and an engraved mark added to a medicine is not constant. The above problem is solved by an image processing device that performs a process of enhancing a printed character portion of a medicine based on at least one image taken with a surface of the medicine being irradiated with light to generate a printed-character-enhanced image, performs a process of extracting only an engraved mark portion from a three-dimensional shape of the medicine based on at least three images taken with illumination directions of the light to the surface of the medicine different from each other to generate an engraved-mark-extracted image, and generates a difference image between the printed-character-enhanced image and the engraved-mark-extracted image.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, RADIATION IMAGING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus comprises: an obtainment unit configured to obtain a radiation image of a subject; a generation unit configured to generate, based on a plurality of radiation images obtained by radiation of mutually different spectra, a material characteristic image in which a region for each material can be extracted from the interior of the subject; and an image processing unit configured to perform processing of enhancing or attenuating, based on a position of a specific region in the material characteristic image, the specific region in the radiation image.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PATHOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS ASSISTANCE SYSTEM USING SAME
An image processing device and an image processing method capable of clarifying a specific region, especially a stained region of the cell nucleus, by correcting in consideration of overlap of staining, thereby making discrimination easy, and a pathological diagnosis assistance system using the same are provided. A pathological stained image is decomposed into dye concentration images of respective dyes, dye information on the respective staining dyes are correlated, and the respective dye concentration images are corrected to emphasize a specific region.
STRUCTURE MASKING OR UNMASKING FOR OPTIMIZED DEVICE-TO-IMAGE REGISTRATION
One or more devices, systems, methods and storage mediums for performing medical procedure (e.g., needle guidance, ablation, biopsy, etc.) planning and/or performance, and/or for performing registration using at least one mask, are provided. Examples of applications for such devices, systems, methods and storage mediums include imaging, evaluating and diagnosing biological objects, such as, but not limited to, lesions and tumors, and such devices, systems, methods and storage mediums may be used for radiotherapy applications (e.g., to determine whether to place seed(s) for radiotherapy). The devices, systems, methods and storage mediums provide improved registration results by utilizing at least one mask to suppress one or more artifacts or objects (which may or may not include, but is not limited to, at least one medical instrument or tool) in an image including a portion of the medical guidance device and/or to enhance a region or target of interest in the image.
