Systems and apparatuses for hanging articles while avoiding removal and/or damage to pre-installed supports and even surfaces are provided. In an embodiment, a device comprises a body configured to mechanically rest on or grip a portion of the pre-installed support, or even to be forcibly strapped to the pre-installed support. Additionally, a linking member, such as a clip, groove, channel, or hook, may be disposed along the body to join an article to the support. In practice, a plurality of devices may be applied to a variety of different types of head rails and other supports to join, for example, curtains to the head rail or other support, whether by forcibly gripping such curtains or supportively receiving a rod fitted with curtains.

A valance system for a window covering that can be folded and placed within the same shipping box as a wall bracket, top bracket and track sections. The valance extends a length between opposing ends and includes a clip feature that extends out from its rearward side. The clip feature is generally C-shaped or U-shaped when viewed from the side and includes a plurality of friction members in its exterior surface. The valance is covered with a covering material. An end cap having a hinge area that facilitates bending of the end cap is connected to the ends of the valance by connection of a tongue of the end cap to a slot of the valance. The clip feature is sized and shaped to frictionally fit within and be installed within a socket of a top bracket without any tools.

A valance system for a window covering that can be folded and placed within the same shipping box as a wall bracket, top bracket and track sections. In some embodiments a window treatment securement device may include a first elongated member having a first mounting plate. A first frame stake may be coupled to the first elongated member, and a first receiving slot may be coupled to the first mounting plate. The first elongated member may optionally be coupled to a second elongated member having a second mounting plate. A second frame stake may be coupled to the second elongated member, and a second receiving slot may be coupled to the second mounting plate. The device may be affixed to an object, such as walls and window trim, and a window treatment may be secured to the device thereby securing the window treatment to the object.

In some embodiments a window treatment securement device may include a first elongated member having a first mounting plate. A first frame stake may be coupled to the first elongated member, and a first receiving slot may be coupled to the first mounting plate. The first elongated member may optionally be coupled to a second elongated member having a second mounting plate. A second frame stake may be coupled to the second elongated member, and a second receiving slot may be coupled to the second mounting plate. The device may be affixed to an object, such as walls and window trim, and a window treatment may be secured to the device thereby securing the window treatment to the object.

A modular track system for hanging a curtain, the track system consisting of modules or sections with attachments and accessories designed to adjust to varying environments and specifications. Track shape and length are adjusted by specifying various combinations of the specialized components created as part of the system. Complementing the track system is a curtain with integrated loop fasteners which allows the curtain to be attached and removed without removing the track. The system further preferably includes a side support for use in attached the track to a fixed support in the environment, and a guiderail on the side of the track on one or more track sections, the track and curtain all being coordinated to form an efficient and improved curtain hanging system.
