EXTERNAL MOTOR DRIVE SYSTEM FOR WINDOW COVERING SYSTEM WITH CONTINUOUS CORD LOOP
A motor drive system for operating a mechanism for raising and lowering window coverings includes a motor operating under electrical power and an electrically powered drive system. The motor drive system advances a continuous cord loop in response to positional commands from a controller. An input-output device includes a capacitive touch strip that receives user inputs along an input axis, and an LEDs strip aligned with the input axis. A group mode module communicates the positional commands to other motor drive systems within an identified group to operate respective other mechanisms of the other motor drive systems. A set control module enables user calibration of a top position and a bottom position of travel of the window covering. The input-output device extends vertically on the exterior of a housing for the motor drive system, and the housing supports input buttons of the group mode module and the set control module.

The drive motor is in rotational communication with at least one retraction assembly configured to retract or deploy a line in response to rotation of the drive motor. The line is configured to retract or deploy a barrier. The drive motor provides selective rotation in response to an addressed signal from a controller. In addition, retraction systems employing portable retraction devices and methods for assembling the retraction systems are also disclosed.
Roll-up retractable covering for architectural openings
A retractable covering for an architectural opening includes a headrail in which a control system is mounted and a fabric suspended from the headrail. The fabric is mounted to be moved laterally between a rolled up retracted position and an extended position across the architectural opening. At least one roller about which the fabric can be wrapped is mounted at an end of the headrail for rotation about a vertical axis, and the system includes a flexible control element that is substantially horizontally disposed for moving the covering between extended and retracted positions.

The drive motor, the reducer and the power output module are all coaxially installed inside the outer housing.
CURTAIN RETRACTION DEVICE OF ELECTRIC CURTAIN AND ELECTRIC CURTAIN
An electric curtain and a curtain retraction device including a toothed chain; an outer housing; a drive motor, the toothed chain extends into the outer housing; a reducer, a power output end of the drive motor is inserted into the reducer, so as to be connected with the reducer in a transmission way, the reducer has a first power output part; a power output module including a power output shaft, a clutch component and a driving gear, the power output shaft is inserted into the first power output part, so as to be connected with the reducer in a transmission way, the clutch component is arranged between the power output shaft and the driving gear, the driving gear is configured to move the toothed chain. The drive motor, the reducer and the power output module are all coaxially installed inside the outer housing.
Motorized carriage, screen-moving assembly comprising such a carriage, screening installation and method for operating such an installation
This motorized carriage for opening/closing a curtain is able to move along a rail thanks to a friction wheel driven by an electric motor and pivot mounted in a casing containing this electric motor. The casing is provided with at least two members for suspending it from the rail or from the rod, which include a support and/or a base element and at least one pivoting roller. The casing is equipped with at least one housing for partially accommodating and reversibly immobilizing each suspension member, so that the pivoting rollers or the shoes of the suspension members are mounted removably on the casing. The support is mounted, removably and via a rotational movement (F4), in the housing. Elements allow the support to be immobilized about its axis of rotation. The movement assembly (E) includes a casing and at least two sets of two suspension members.
DEVICE FOR OPENING AND CLOSING CURTAINS AS WELL AS A METHOD FOR CONNECTING AN ELECTRIC MOTOR DRIVE AND/OR A DEFLECTION TO THE PROFILE CROSS-SECTION OF A CURTAIN RAIL
A device for opening and closing curtains includes a curtain rail with at least one channel open in the curtain-to-be-hung direction and at least one curtain holding part held movably in the channel in the channel longitudinal direction by guides, for attaching the curtain. The guides are adjustable along the rail via an electric motor drive by a drive mechanism. A laterally-arranged, window-like opening is made in at least one section of the rail profile cross-section, which provides access from outside the rail at least to the channel for the drive mechanism. A structural unit for the electromotive drive and/or a deflection of the drive mechanism is insertable into this opening and fixable therein laterally on the rail for passing the drive mechanism through the region for the electromotive drive and/or the deflection. Also, a method connects an electromotive drive and/or a deflection to the rail profile cross-section.
FULL-HEIGHT DIVIDER CURTAIN BETWEEN AIRCRAFT CABIN PASSENGER SUITES
An aircraft cabin divider, for dividing two adjacent private passenger areas in first class, including a curtain hung by its top side from a top curtain rod, the divider having an open position and a closed position, and being full-height, thus covering a height up to the ceiling of the aircraft cabin wherein it is installed, and hooked by its bottom side to a bottom curtain rod opposite the top rod, the bottom rod being configured to allow the curtain to be detached from the bottom in the event of depressurization.
Curtain control system and curtain control method
The present invention relates to a curtain control system and a curtain control method. When a controller receives a curtain-releasing signal, a braking module releases a curtain so as to lower it, a current position detecting module detects an absolute position of the curtain, and the controller calculates a current velocity and a current acceleration of the curtain according to a variation per unit time of the absolute position. When the current velocity is equal to zero or the current acceleration is smaller than zero, the controller controls a motor to lift the curtain or controls the braking module to hold the curtain at a current position. Accordingly, the present invention uses the absolute position to calculate the current velocity and the current acceleration of the curtain so as to determine whether the curtain has encountered an obstacle.
