IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM THAT STORES PROGRAM
The texture data acquired by the first acquisition unit is processed so as to accord with a size of the region set by the setting unit, and the illumination data acquired by the second acquisition unit is processed so as to accord with the size of the region set by the setting unit. The decoration data is generated from the texture data processed by the first processing unit and the illumination data processed by the second processing unit, and the decoration data is applied to the region set by the setting unit are comprised.
IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing method and apparatus, and a storage medium are provided, and relate to the image processing field. A dependency relationship between features of texture primitives of an image may be obtained based on direction information and a multi-scale feature map of the image, at least one group of texture features of the image may be obtained based on a feature map of the image on at least one scale, and a texture representation result of the image may be obtained based on the dependency relationship and the at least one group of texture features. Then, the image may be processed based on the texture representation result of the image. Because the texture representation result of the image can reflect more perfect texture information of the image, an image processing effect is better when image processing such as image recognition, image segmentation, or image synthesis is performed.

TEXTURE EVALUATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure attempts to evaluate how the texture of an object is perceived based on visual features of the topological skeleton of the object. A camera S1 obtains a color image by taking an image of an object, which serves as an evaluation target. Within the image obtained, a visual feature area, which is likely to strike a person's eye when the person claps his/her eyes on the object, and an intensity of a visual stimulus of each pixel of the visual feature area are extracted. Visual skeleton features of each pixel of the image are determined within a contour region which is composed of the visual feature areas extracted. The visual skeleton features determined are shown on a display.

Material capture using imaging
Methods and systems are provided for performing material capture to determine properties of an imaged surface. A plurality of images can be received depicting a material surface. The plurality of images can be calibrated to align corresponding pixels of the images and determine reflectance information for at least a portion of the aligned pixels. After calibration, a set of reference materials from a material library can be selected using the calibrated images. The set of reference materials can be used to determine a material model that accurately represents properties of the material surface.
