HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
A head-up display device that is configured to allow a driver to intuitively recognize a plurality of objects sequentially along a travel route of a vehicle while projecting a video onto an image forming plane that has a length in the vertical direction shorter than a length in the horizontal direction. An optical processor of the head-up display device obtains from a controller a first image signal based on the nearest road sign information and a second image signal based on the following road sign information along the travel route. The optical processor causes line segment objects as well as information objects generated from the first image signal and the second image signal, respectively, to be displayed on an image forming plane.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING A LIMITLESS PATH IN VIRTUAL REALITY ENVIRONMENT FOR CONTINUOUS LOCOMOTION
A method for generating a limitless path in a virtual reality environment (VR) for a continuous locomotion within a real physical space using Head-Mounted-Display (HMD) device associated with a user is provided. The method includes determining a line segment between two points that corresponds to an initial path travelled by the user. The method includes detecting a boundary of the VR environment to generate a next line segment. The method includes generating and adding a new line segment to end of the initial path. The method includes generating and adding the new line segment to the end of the next line segment. The method includes generating an updated path by adding the new line segment in a direction at the angle of shift angle to the direction of the next line segment. The method includes, configuring to output updated path as two-dimensional points to render updated path into VR environment.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
There is provided with an information processing apparatus. A display control unit displays, on an image, a polygon having vertices at respective positions of candidates for at least three detection targets in the image. A determining unit determines, as the at least three detection targets, the candidates for the at least three detection targets, based on user input. A calculating unit calculates a parameter for estimating a size of a detection target that corresponds to a respective position in the image, based on positions and sizes of the determined at least three detection targets.
AUTOMATED ACCESSIBILTY ASSESSMENT AND RATING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
An automated system and method for assessing and rating accessibility are provided. A processor collects raw data corresponding to geographical objects obtained from sensors, the raw data including tagged and non-tagged data; operates on the raw data to extract features and reduce dimensionality of the raw data, thereby generating processed data having extracted features; generates accessibility data from the processed data; uses supervised machine learning techniques to develop models from the processed data; and implements the models and generates accessibility tags based on the extracted features. A database is configured to store geographical data related to the geographical objects and the accessibility tags corresponding to the geographical locations. An API is configured to access the database and provide a user interface for a user device to use an application to display the accessibility data and the accessibility tags on the user device customized to a disability.
Methods and systems for generating graphical content through physical system modelling
Graphic arts software has evolved to provide users with a variety of mark making tools to simulate different brushes, papers, and applied media such as ink, chalk, watercolour, spray paint and oils. However, in many instances the marks rendered appear unnatural and artificial despite the software's goal being to simulate as realistically. Accordingly, it would be beneficial to provide either users or the software application with a mechanism to remove or reduce artifacts indicative of artificial generation, e.g. rapid transitions. Further, in many instances the graphic images generated and/or manipulated refer to imagined environments or have elements that are physical in nature. Accordingly, it would be beneficial to provide users with a range of mark making tools that represent marks made by mark making tools comprising multiple elements following physical laws.
Motion trajectory drawing method and apparatus, and device and storage medium
Provided are a method for drawing a motion track, an electronic device and a storage medium. The method includes the following steps: multiple video frames are acquired, where the multiple video frames includes a current video frame and at least one video frame before the current video frame (S110); a display position of a target motion element in each video frame and a display position of a background pixel point in each video frame are identified (S120); a display position of the target motion element of each video frame in the current video frame is calculated (S130); an actual motion track of the target motion element is drawn in the current video frame according to the display position of the target motion element of each video frame in the current video frame, and the current video frame in which the drawing is completed is displayed (S140).
Systems and methods for automating conversion of drawings to indoor maps and plans
Automating conversion of drawings to indoor maps and plans. One example is a computer-implemented method comprising: preprocessing an original CAD drawing to create a modified CAD drawing, a text database, a CAD vector-image, and a CAD raster-image; determining a floor depicted in the CAD drawing by applying the CAD raster-image, the CAD vector-image, and the text database to a floor-level machine-learning algorithm resulting in a floor-level outline; sensing furniture depicted on the floor by applying the floor-level outline, the CAD vector-image, and the text database to a furniture-level machine-learning algorithm resulting in a set of furniture entities; identifying each room depicted in the CAD drawing by applying the floor-level outline, the furniture entities, CAD vector-image, and the text database to room-level machine-learning algorithm resulting in a plurality of room-level outlines; and creating an indoor map by combining the furniture entities and the plurality of room-level outlines.
