A system includes one or more video capture devices and a processor coupled to each video capture device. Each processor is operable to direct its respective video capture device to obtain an image of a monitored area and process the image to identify objects of interest represented in the image. The processor is also operable to generate bounding perimeter virtual objects for the identified objects of interest, each bounding perimeter virtual object surrounding at least part of its respective object of interest. The processor is further operable to determine danger zones for the identified objects of interest based on the bounding perimeter virtual objects. The processor is further operable to determine at least one near-miss condition based at least in part on an actual or predicted overlap of danger zones for multiple objects of interest, and may optionally generate an alert at least partially in response to the near-miss condition.

Systems and methods for detecting movement of at least one non-line-of-sight object

A system and method for detecting movement of a non-light-of-sight (NLOS) object in a space outside a line-of-sight (LOS) of a camera is disclosed. The camera acquires a sequence of successive images that each include a set of pixels, at least a subset thereof representing a target, being at least part of a visible object located within the LOS of the camera and impacted by light scattered from the NLOS object. The set of pixels of two images of the sequence, acquired from different positions of the camera, are registered into a common coordinate system, giving rise to two registered images. A target light intensity value is calculated for both registered images based on at least part of the set of pixels representing the target in the respective registered image. Movement of the NLOS object is detected based on a variation in the target light intensity value between registered images.

The present technology relates to the field of medical monitoring. Patient monitoring systems and associated devices, methods, and computer readable media are described. In some embodiments, a patient monitoring system includes one or more sensors configured to capture first data related to a patient and a monitoring device configured to receive the first data. In these and other embodiments, the patient monitoring system can include an image capture device configured to capture second data related to the patient. In these and still other embodiments, the one or more sensors can be configured to instruct the patient monitoring system to display the second data.

METHODS FOR OPTICAL TRACKING AND SURFACE ACQUISITION IN SURGICAL ENVIRONMENTS AND DEVICES THEREOF

A computer assisted system is disclosed that includes an optical tracking system and one or more computing devices. The optical tracking system includes an RGB sensor and is configured to capture color images of an environment in the visible light spectrum and tracking images of fiducials in the environment in a near-infrared spectrum. The computer assisted system is configured to generate a color image of the environment using the color images, identify fiducial locations using the tracking images, generate depth maps from the color images, reconstruct three-dimensional surfaces of structures based on the depth maps, and output a display comprising the reconstructed three-dimensional surface and one or more surgical objects that are associated with the tracked fiducials. The computer assisted system can further include a monitor or a head-mounted display (HMD) configured to present augmented reality (AR) images during a procedure.

TECHNIQUE FOR IDENTIFYING A DEMENTIA BASED ON GAZE INFORMATION

Disclosed is a method of identifying dementia by at least one processor of a device. The method includes performing a first task that causes a first object to be displayed on a first region of a screen displayed on a user terminal; and when a preset condition is satisfied, performing a second task that causes at least one object, which induces the user's gaze, to be displayed instead of the first object on the screen of the user terminal.

A target object detection apparatus (20) includes an image generation unit (220) that generates, from three-dimensional information acquired by processing a reflection wave of an electromagnetic wave irradiated toward an inspection target, a two-dimensional image of the inspection target viewed from a predetermined direction; an area detection unit (230) that detects, from the two-dimensional image, each of at least two detection areas of detection target objects recognized by using at least two recognition means; and an identification unit (240) that identifies the detection target object, based on a positional relationship between the detected at least two detection areas.

ESTABLISHED PERSPECTIVE USER INTERFACE AND USER EXPERIENCE FOR VIDEO MEETINGS

Aspects of this present disclosure relate to hybrid conference user interface. The hybrid conference interface provides an establishing shot before the meeting begins that places meeting attendees in a specific spatial arrangement, such as in specific seats around a conference table. Upon starting the conference, the hybrid user interface renders an appropriate perspective view of the meeting that is tailored to each attendee's perspective while also being spatially consistent for the entire group of attendees. Allowing attendees to place themselves where they want gives attendees a sense of physical space that helps them stay spatially oriented relative to the other people and resources in the room.

APPLICATION TO GUIDE MASK FITTING

A respiratory pressure therapy system for providing continuous positive air pressure to a patient via a patient interface configured to engage with at least one airway of the patient. The system includes: a flow generator configured to generate supply of breathable gas for delivery to the patient via the patient interface; at least one sensor; a display; and a computing device. The computing device is configured to: receive sensor data that is based on measured physical property of the supply of breathable gas; control, based on the received sensor data, the flow generator to adjust a property of the supply of breathable gas; receive, an input indicating assistance is needed with using the patient interface; receive one or more images of the patient with the patient interface; analyse the received one or more images; and based on the analysis, display instructions for positioning the patient interface.
