Methods, systems, and devices for creating a model of a medical device for use in an extended reality (XR) system are described. The method may include receiving a three-dimensional model of the medical device, where the three-dimensional model is represented by a plurality of vectors. The method may further include reducing a number of the plurality of vectors to at least below a maximum vector count threshold while maintaining at least a minimum model resolution threshold. In some cases, the method may include assigning one or more components to the reduced number of the plurality of vectors. The method may further include configuring a software-executable file for displaying an XR version of the three-dimensional model of the medical device.

Generating and storing product media can be resource intensive processes. Some systems and methods disclosed herein relate to rapidly and/or automatically generating a three-dimensional (3D) composite model to help improve the generation of product media and/or to help reduce product media storage requirements. The 3D composite model may correspond to a product bundle. According to an embodiment, an indication of items associated with a product bundle is obtained. Pre-existing 3D models corresponding to the items are then obtained and used to generate a 3D composite model. The 3D composite model includes representations of the items and may be implemented to provide product media depicting the product bundle.

Methods, devices, systems, and computer program products for creating three-dimensional puzzles

The method of creating a three-dimensional (3D) puzzle of an object includes receiving a 3D model of the object; sequentially extracting a plurality of preliminary segments from the 3D model, and generating a plurality of two-dimensional (2D) printable segments corresponding to the plurality of preliminary segments. The plurality of printable segments may be configured to be printed to create a plurality of printed segments that may be configured to be selectively coupled together to form a 3D representation of the object.

The system includes a database, a server, a computing device, an automated distributed manufacturing system, and a 3D printing apparatus. An application of the computing device utilizes a camera of the computing device to scan a head of a user, create a 3D representation of the head of the user from the scans, combine the 3D representation of the head of the user with a pre-sculpted digital body and/or accessories selected by the user to create a work order, and transmit the work order to the automated distributed manufacturing system. The automated distributed manufacturing system performs digital modeling tasks, assembles a digital model, and transmits the digital model to the 3D printing apparatus. The 3D printing apparatus creates the custom miniature figurine.

An internet or cloud-based system, method, or platform (“platform”) used to facilitate the conversion of electronic two-dimensional drawings to three-dimensional models. A group of people (“crowd”) that has been found qualified to make such conversions, are selected for the conversion. The two-dimensional drawings are transmitted to the crowd for conversion to three-dimensional models. In some embodiments, multiple instances of the same two-dimensional drawings (or image data) is sent to multiple, independent crowd members in order that multiple versions of the same three-dimensional model can be created. Once the models are complete and returned, they are compared to each other on multiple features or characteristics. If two or more three-dimensional models are found to match within the prescribed tolerances, they are determined to be an accurate representation of the product or device shown in the two-dimensional drawings. In some embodiments, the two-dimensional drawings can be divided into subparts and submitted to different crowd members for conversion.

Content integrating engine includes content retriever, content queue, 3D scene component processors to process each 3D scene's visual components, scene manager and combiner. Content retriever establishes direct connection to external server, and retrieves URLs from server storage and stores URLs in content queue. Scene manager, at time of low intensity during 3D scene, signals to content retriever to retrieve media content corresponding to URLs in content queue, one scene component processor to process display setting change, or another scene component processor to process media content. Combiner to generate combined 3D scene output. Other embodiments are described.

A data collection device photographs or scans an indoor space and produces dimensional data using collected data. The system further includes a pre-processing process, a planes process, a move to origin process, and a segmentation process that analyze and process the dimensional data to create a digital model of the indoor space. The digital model is saved to a database and is viewable on a display and includes a visual scale that corresponds to the spatial dimensions of the indoor space. The system also detects objects present in the indoor space for removal from the digital model. The system also allows creation and placement of visual object representations for display in the digital model.
