A method includes applying an anomaly identification model to features extracted from visual content showing civil infrastructure in order to determine at least one anomalous portion shown in the visual multimedia content, a type of each anomalous portion, and a quantification of each anomalous portion; wherein the anomaly identification model is selected based on a type of material of the civil infrastructure; and generating a semantically labeled three-dimensional (3D) model based on the at least one anomalous portion and the type of each anomalous portion, wherein the semantically labeled 3D model includes anomalous points; wherein each anomalous point represents one of the at least one anomalous portion; wherein the anomalous points collectively define a pattern of the at least one anomalous portion; wherein each anomalous point is visually distinguished to indicate the quantification of the respective anomalous portion.

The method including generating a weight map based on the vertex weights or the UV map, wherein the weight map identifies the isolated area. The method including generating a sub-shape of the shape based on the weight map, wherein the sub-shape is editable using an editing application.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for adding beauty products to tutorials are presented. Methods include accessing video data comprising images of a presenter creating a tutorial, the tutorial depicting the presenter applying a beauty product to a body part of the presenter. Methods further include processing the video data to identify changes to the body part of the presenter from an application of the beauty product, and responding to identifying changes to the body part of the presenter from the application of the beauty product by processing the video data to identify the beauty product. Methods further include retrieving information regarding the beauty product and causing presentation of information regarding the beauty product on a display device.
EYE TRACKER DESIGN FOR A WEARABLE DEVICE
According to an aspect, a method for designing an eye tracker on a wearable device includes selecting a first three-dimensional (3D) model of at least a head of a person, selecting a second 3D model of a wearable device, positioning a synthetic eye within the first 3D model, positioning an eye tracker component at a first location on the second 3D model, the eye tracker component including at least one of an eye tracker sensor or a light source, moving at least one of the first 3D model or the second 3D model such that at least a portion of the first 3D model contacts at least a portion of the second 3D model, and generating performance data with the eye tracker component positioned at the first location on the second 3D model.
VOICE DRIVEN MODIFICATION OF SUB-PARTS OF ASSETS IN COMPUTER SIMULATIONS
A computer simulation object such as a chair is described by voice or photo input to render a 2D image. Machine learning may be used to convert voice input to the 2D image. The 2D image is converted to a 3D asset and the 3D asset or portions thereof are used in the computer simulation, such as a computer game, as the object such as a chair.
Avatar Editing Environment
An avatar editing environment is disclosed that allows users to create custom avatars for use in online games and other applications. Starting with a blank face the user can add, rescale and position different elements (e.g., eyes, nose, mouth) on the blank face. The user can also change the shape of the avatar's face, the avatar's skin color and the color of all the elements. In some implementations, touch input and gestures can be used to manually edit the avatar. Various controls can be used to create the avatar, such as controls for resizing, rotating, positioning, etc. The user can choose between manual and automatic avatar creation. The avatar editing environment can be part of a framework that is available to applications. One or more elements of the avatar can be animated.

Augmenting real-time views of a patient with three-dimensional (3D) data. In one embodiment, a method may include identifying 3D data for a patient with the 3D data including an outer layer and multiple inner layers, determining virtual morphometric measurements of the outer layer from the 3D data, registering a real-time position of the outer layer of the patient in a 3D space, determining real-time morphometric measurements of the outer layer of the patient, automatically registering the position of the outer layer from the 3D data to align with the registered real-time position of the outer layer of the patient in the 3D space using the virtual morphometric measurements and using the real-time morphometric measurements, and displaying, in an augmented reality (AR) headset, one of the inner layers from the 3D data projected onto real-time views of the outer layer of the patient.
