HEATED OR COOLED DISHWARE AND DRINKWARE
An actively heated mug, travel mug, baby bottle, water bottle or liquid container is provided. The mug, travel mug, baby bottle, water bottle or liquid container can include a body that receives a liquid therein and a heating or cooling system at least partially disposed in the body. The heating or cooling system can include one or more heating or cooling elements that heat a surface of the receiving portion of the body and one or more energy storage devices. The mug, travel mug, baby bottle, water bottle or liquid container can include a wireless power receiver that wirelessly receives power from a power source and control circuitry configured to charge one or more power storage elements and to control the delivery of electricity from the one or more power storage elements to the one or more heating or cooling elements. The mug, travel mug, baby bottle, water bottle or liquid container also can have one or more sensors that sense a parameter of the liquid or sense a parameter of the heating or cooling system and communicates the sensed information to the control circuitry. The control circuitry can turn on, turn off, and/or operate the heating or cooling element to actively heat or cool at least a portion of the body to maintain the liquid in a heated or cooled state generally at a user selected temperature setting based at least in part on the sensed parameter information. The mug, travel mug, baby bottle, water bottle or liquid container can also be paired with a remote device or mobile electronic device to send or receive communications or commands.
Heating device for a kettle
The present invention discloses a heating device for a kettle, comprising an enclosure, a radiator fan, a rack, a core PCB, a wire coil, and a temperature sensor in the enclosure. A heating platform which has a housing cavity is arranged on the upper part of the enclosure. The radiator fan is mounted at the bottom of the enclosure. The rack is fixed inside the enclosure. The core PCB is configured in the lower part of the rack and above the radiator fan. The wire coil which is provided with a heat coil is installed on the rack, and the temperature sensor is electrically connected with the core PCB.
DRINKWARE CONTAINER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
An actively heated drinkware container includes a vessel with a chamber that receives and holds a volume of liquid. The drinkware container includes a heating module with a first heating element operable to heat one portion of the chamber and a second heating element operable to heat another portion of the chamber, the second heating element spaced from the first heating element. Operation of the first and second heating elements generates a circulation current in the volume of liquid in the chamber that mixes the liquid and diffuses a temperature of the liquid to thereby reduce temperature stratification of the liquid in the chamber and so that a temperature of the liquid throughout the volume of liquid in the chamber is approximately uniform.
Device and Method for Producing and Dispensing a Boiling Liquid and Apparatus for Preparing a Beverage Provided with Such a Device
Provided is a device (2) for producing and dispensing a boiling liquid including: a vessel (3); a heating system (4); a supply system (8) for supplying liquid from the vessel to the heating system; a dispensing system (13) configured to separate the boiling liquid and the steam resulting from said boiling, in order to dispense the boiling liquid and to discharge the steam; a first system for measuring the temperature of the liquid in the heating system; a system (24) for measuring the amount of steam discharged; and a system for controlling the supply system configured such as to control the flow of liquid supplying the heating system in accordance with said measurements of temperature and amount of steam discharged. Also provided is a method for producing and dispensing boiling liquid and to an apparatus (I) for preparing a beverage provided with such a device.
Portable container system for heating a beverage
In a portable container system for heating a beverage generally, the system includes a container for containing a beverage to be heated. The container generally has a bottom and a side wall together defining an internal reservoir containing the beverage to be heated. A base of the system is operable to heat the container at the bottom thereof. The base is constructed of multiple layers generally including at least a top barrier layer, an electrically non-conductive bottom barrier layer and a thin film heating element intermediate the top barrier layer and the bottom barrier layer.
HEATED OR COOLED DISHWARE AND DRINKWARE AND FOOD CONTAINERS
An actively heated or cooled food container can have a lid movable between an open and a closed position and an insulated body to which the lid can be attached. The insulated body can have a sidewall that defines a perimeter of the container body and a base, the sidewall and base defining one or more chambers that can be sealed by the lid. The food container can have a temperature control system that can include one or more heating or cooling elements in thermal communication with one or both of the sidewall and the base and operable to heat or cool one or both of the sidewall and the base to thereby heat or cool the one or more chambers in the food container.
AUTOMATED APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PREPARING HOT BEVERAGES
A device for preparing a beverage, including a body; a heat source; a sensing unit comprising at least a first temperature sensor; a control system; a user interface; and a means for vertically translating the sensing unit in upwards and downwards directions. A container is used with the device for preparing the beverage, where ingredients of the beverage are added to the container prior to actuating the device to begin preparation of the beverage.
DRINKWARE WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
An actively heated mug has a body with a chamber that can receive and hold a beverage and a heating element to actively heat the chamber, batteries, and circuitry that controls the operation of the heating element. A user interface is electrically connected to the circuitry and has one or more buttons actuatable a) to turn on the heating element, b) to adjust a temperature setting to one of multiple temperature settings to control the operation of the heating element to heat or maintain the liquid at a user selected temperature setting, and c) to turn off the heating element.
