A display apparatus includes a display, a communication module that communicates with an input device, and a processor. The processor is configured to add pattern information to a first image by changing a pixel value of at least one of a plurality of pixels included in the first image, to display the first image, to which the pattern information is added, on the display, to receive a second image captured by the input device from the input device via the communication module, and to identify input coordinates of the input device or a function to be executed by the display apparatus based on pattern information included in the received second image.
Display device and touch input system including the same
A display device includes: a display unit including a plurality of light emission areas; a plurality of touch electrodes disposed between the plurality of light emission areas to sense a touch; and a plurality of code patterns formed between the plurality of light emission areas in a predetermined planar code shape, wherein code patterns, which indicate preset direction designated position codes, are repeatedly disposed in an outermost area in at least one direction of a touch sensor area in which the plurality of touch electrodes are arranged.
Intelligent epidemic prevention system and method
An intelligent epidemic prevention system includes a calibration device, an access control system, a visible-light camera recording a first calibration device image of the calibration device and a first user image of a user, a thermographic camera recording a second calibration device image of the calibration device and a second user image of the user, and a computing device that calculates a calibration value according to the first and second calibration device images. The computing device determines whether the user wears a mask properly according to the first user image and generates a first result, and determines whether the temperature of the user is greater than or equal to a threshold temperature according to the calibration value and the second user image and generates a second result. The computing device controls the access control system to open or close according to the first and second results.
INFORMATION-PROVIDING DEVICE USING ELECTRONIC PEN, AND INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD THEREFOR
An information-providing device using an electronic pen according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a receiving unit for receiving pattern information sensed by an electronic pen on a recording medium on which a pattern is formed; a background image extraction unit for extracting a background image from the pattern information; a writing data conversion unit for converting the pattern information to writing data; a storage unit for storing the writing data and a background image corresponding to the writing data; and a communication unit for transmitting the writing data and the background image corresponding to the writing data to a user terminal.
Interactive decor
Interactive dcor and systems and methods of printing an interactive pattern using an inkjet printer are disclosed. An interactive dcor may comprise a substrate, and an interactive pattern printed on the substrate. The interactive pattern is addressable using a reader device, but is substantially indiscernible to a naked eye at a viewing distance. A decorative image is printed over the interactive pattern. The decorative image is predominant to the naked eye.
SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING A SUBJECT
Disclosed herein is a system for identifying a subject interacting with a display device, where the system includes i) an image providing unit for providing a first image showing a first body part of the subject and a second image showing a second body part of the subject, where the first and the second image have been acquired by imaging the first and second body part, respectively, through a display of the display device, ii) a combined similarity determining unit for determining a combined degree of similarity of a) the first and the second image to b) a first and a second reference image corresponding to a reference subject identity, and iii) a subject identity determining unit for determining whether an identity of the subject corresponds to the reference subject identity based on the combined degree of similarity.
Material inventory counting method and apparatus, warehousing robot, and warehousing system
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a material inventory counting method and apparatus, a warehousing robot, and a warehousing system. The material inventory counting method is applied to the warehousing robot. The method includes: capturing an inventory counting image of a target box through the warehousing robot; and determining an inventory count of a material in the target box according to the inventory counting image. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present disclosure, an inventory counting image of a target box is captured through a warehousing robot, and a count for a material in the target box is determined through image identification on the inventory counting image, to implement in-situ and automatic inventory counting for the material, without the need for cross-zone movement of the box, such that the efficiency of material inventory counting is greatly improved and the cost of inventory counting is lowered.
BARCODE IMAGE RECOGNITION METHOD AND DEVICE USING THE SAME
A barcode image recognition device includes a camera module, an input component, a processing module, a storage module, an output module, and a display. The input component is coupled to the camera module, and the processing module is coupled to the camera module. The processing module includes a first artificial neural network, a conversion module, a second artificial neural network, and a comparison module. The first artificial neural network identifies the first target image of each target object in the default images captured by the camera module. The second artificial neural network identifies the second target image in the captured image captured by the camera module. The storage module is coupled to the processing module. The output module is coupled to the comparison module and the storage module. The display is coupled to the output module.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO DETERMINE WHETHER AN IMAGE CONTAINS A SPECIFIC BARCODE
Systems and methods are provided for determining whether an image or location contains a barcode. The systems and methods include comparing visual data extracted from an image to target visual data. The systems and methods also include comparing different portions of captured barcode data to corresponding portions of target barcode data. The systems and methods also include utilizing barcode formatting data when comparing or computing a similarity measure. The systems and methods also include causing a second image to be captured when no match is found in a first image. The systems and methods also include identifying a target barcode from a barcode database based on spatial information about where an image was captured. The systems and methods also include validating a barcode based on different regions of the barcode from two different images of the barcode. The systems and methods also include using two barcodes captured in an image.
IMPROVED AUTHENTIFICATION METHOD
The photographic acquisition method known as killing the ambient light, which involves calculating the difference between two acquisitions of the same scene, is known, particularly when it is applied to authentication by an authentication device equipped with a means, termed a marker, allowing the position to be determined in three dimensions, in which the photographic acquisition means are located, one under a given lighting and the other with an additional lighting. The change in lighting conditions must be carried out at the fastest possible pace, so that the acquisition device does not move between the two successive shots even if it is held in the hand, and so that the scene does not have time to change. To this end, an image is acquired as soon as the modification of the lighting conditions enables this marker to be recognized.
