Liquid heating apparatus

A reservoir of a liquid heating appliance includes a first chamber and a second chamber, separated by a partition. A heating arrangement is arranged to heat liquid in the first chamber. A first valve, a second valve and a float valve are disposed in the partition to selectively allow liquid to flow between the first and second chambers. Respective lines joining the first and second valves to a center of the partition have an obtuse angular separation. The first and second valves are selectively closed by a valve closure member. The float valve includes a floating valve member arranged to float and mate with a valve seat to prevent the flow of liquid. A liquid outlet in the first chamber connects with a dispense outlet on the appliance to allow liquid to be dispensed when the first and second valves are closed.

DRINKWARE CONTAINER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
20250057358 · 2025-02-20 ·

An actively heated drinkware container includes a vessel with a chamber that receives and holds a volume of liquid. The drinkware container includes a heating module with a first heating element operable to heat one portion of the chamber and a second heating element operable to heat another portion of the chamber, the second heating element spaced from the first heating element. Operation of the first and second heating elements generates a circulation current in the volume of liquid in the chamber that mixes the liquid and diffuses a temperature of the liquid to thereby reduce temperature stratification of the liquid in the chamber and so that a temperature of the liquid throughout the volume of liquid in the chamber is approximately uniform.

METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR PREVENTING UNINTENDED SPILL OF LIQUID FROM A VESSEL

An arrangement is provided comprising a vessel (1) for holding a liquid. The arrangement further comprises at least one of a controllable lock (3) to controllably enable a release of said vessel from a support (2) and a controllable lock (4) to controllably enable opening of said vessel (1). The arrangement further comprises a controller (5) to control the at least one controllable lock. The arrangement is provided with a sensor unit (6) including at least one sensor to sense a mechanical interaction occurring when the vessel is gripped and to issue a sense signal (C.sub.6) that is indicative for said mechanical interaction, wherein said controller controls the at least one controllable lock (3, 4) dependent on said sense signal (C.sub.6) and on one or more safety conditions.

Portable container system for heating a beverage

In a portable container system for heating a beverage generally, the system includes a container for containing a beverage to be heated. The container generally has a bottom and a side wall together defining an internal reservoir containing the beverage to be heated. A base of the system is operable to heat the container at the bottom thereof. The base is constructed of multiple layers generally including at least a top barrier layer, an electrically non-conductive bottom barrier layer and a thin film heating element intermediate the top barrier layer and the bottom barrier layer.
