WIRELESS POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A wireless power transmission device and a control method thereof are provided. The wireless power transmission device includes a wireless power transmitter, a communication interface, a sensing coil, a light source driver, a light source, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to control the wireless power transmitter to transmit first power supplied by the working coil to the cooking appliance, control the light source driver to measure second power induced in the sensing coil when the first power is transmitted, and control the light source driver to set at least one of a light emission intensity of the light source, a light emission color of the light source, or a light emission form of the light source, based on the amount of the second power.
Temperature control apparatus and liquid heater applying the apparatus
A temperature control apparatus has a housing and at least one thermosensitive protective action component. The thermosensitive protective action component has a metal actuator, an acting mechanism, a support frame, and a switch contact set. The metal actuator and the acting mechanism are both arranged on the support frame. The acting mechanism controls the on-off state of the switch contact set. The switch contact set is connected between the housing and the support frame. The switch contact set has a movable contact piece and a fixed contact piece. The temperature control apparatus also has a connecting component. The housing and the thermosensitive protective action component are flexibly connected therebetween via the connecting component. When the liquid heater is deformed as a result of a thermal shock, a great thermal contact can be maintained between the thermosensitive protective action component and a temperature sensing surface of the liquid heater.
Micro kettle
A microwave kettle includes a main vessel having a pivotally attached lid, with an insert attached to an interior of the lid and extending into the main vessel. The insert is configured with a number of nucleation sites to facilitate boiling of a liquid within the vessel.
Thermally sensitive controls
A thermally sensitive control for controlling a power supply circuit to a heater in a liquid heating appliance is provided. The control includes a cordless connector part arranged to mate with a base connector part, first and second moveable electrical contacts mounted on first and second moveable members, and first and second thermally sensitive actuators. The control further includes a latch arm extending across the control between the moveable members, the latch arm including a first latch for the first moveable member and a second latch for the second moveable member, and a release member including a release part and a plunger, wherein the release member is resiliently biased to bring the release part into contact with the latch arm but the resilient bias is overcome when the plunger bears against a surface of the base connector part.
Kettle
The present invention provides a kettle that has a plurally of chambers and which is configured to boil water in one chamber and condense the steam therefrom in another chamber or other part of the kettle. The kettle may have a heating element in one of the chambers that raises the temperature of the water in that chamber to boiling point and the heating of the water is carried out in stages, each stage elevating the temperature farther and being carried out in a successive one of the chambers. The kettle allows water to be boiled far more efficiently than in conventional kettles and can have a significant impact not only in reducing house-hold carbon footprint but also in reducing demand spikes in electricity usage.
Kettle having capability of preventing overflow of boiled water
A kettle has a container and a guiding board. The container has a body. The body has an upper segment, a lower segment, and a through hole defined in the lower segment and having a top edge and a bottom edge. The guiding board is attached securely to an inner surface of the lower segment of the body, covers the through hole, and has a guiding segment. The guiding segment is attached securely to the inner surface of the lower segment of the body at a position below the bottom edge of the through hole, is curved in cross section, extends upward and toward the central line of the body, is free from forming a through bore, and has a top edge higher than the bottom edge of the through hole and lower than the top edge of the through hole.
Boil and boil-dry detection systems for cooking appliances using vibration sensors
A method of boil and boil-dry detection for cooking appliances. The method includes the steps: detecting vibrations that correspond to cookware situated on a burner assembly; generating a vibration signal based on the vibrations; and performing signal processing on the vibration signal. The method also includes the steps: collecting vibration data related to the vibration signal; and detecting boiling and boil-dry conditions for a liquid contained within the cookware based at least in part on an evaluation of the vibration data.
Liquid heating vessels
A liquid heating device includes a liquid heating vessel and a ferromagnetic heating plate arranged to be located inside the vessel adjacent to the vessel base. The heating plate is arranged to be movable vertically away from the vessel base. An arrangement to lift the heating plate includes a thermally sensitive actuator. The heating plate is coupled to the thermally sensitive actuator. The thermally sensitive actuator includes a means to store energy, a steam chamber fluidly connected to the vessel, and a releasable latching mechanism for the actuator which incorporates a thermally sensitive device set to operate at a predetermined temperature when influenced by steam entering the steam chamber from the vessel. The thermally sensitive actuator further includes means to facilitate a manual intervention of the actuator's operation that permits a user to set or reset the actuator's position.
