System for detecting a possibility of boiling over and preventing said boiling over, communicable with a cooktop
A system for detecting a possibility of boiling over and preventing said boiling over comprising a vessel having a vessel's lid, the lid being characterised in that it is configured to: receive information on an initial level of the vessel's content and current level of the vessel's content; and establish on which heating section of a particular cooktop the vessel and the lid are positioned; and based on a difference between the initial level and the current level as well as the time of the creation of said difference: the lid is configured to instruct a height actuator of the lid to extend said lid vertically, in order to extend height of said vessel, and the lid is configured to instruct an aperture actuator to create an aperture in the lid's; the lid is configured to communicate with said cooktop in order to decrease power generation on said heating section.
INDUCTION KETTLE
An appliance (10) to heat a liquid, the appliance (10) including: a vessel (12) to receive the liquid to be heated, the vessel (12) having a generally central upright longitudinal axis (24), a bottom wall (26), and a side wall (28) extending upwardly from the bottom wall (26), with the bottom wall (26) and side wall (28) at least partly enclosing a chamber (40) within which the liquid is heated, with the chamber (40) having an upper region (42) axially spaced from the bottom wall (26), and a lower region (44) located between the bottom wall (26) and the upper region (42); a heating element (50) located within the chamber (40) for relative movement therewithin, with the element (50) at least partly formed of ferromagnetic material; a heater base (14) to be positioned relative to the bottom wall (26) of the vessel (12), the heater base (14) including at least a portion of an induction coil (18); connections to deliver an alternating current to the induction coil (18) so as to deliver a magnetic field to the lower region (44); and wherein the element (50) is movable relative to the coil (18) between an operative position at which the element (50) is located within the lower region (44) so as to be energised by the magnetic field to cause heating of the element (50) so that heat generated by the element (50) can be delivered to the liquid via conduction, and an inoperative position at which the element (50) is located in the upper region (42) so as to no longer place an operative load on the induction coil (18).
Blender
A blender having an exterior material is provided on an outer surface of a container lid. The blender includes a container body to receive food; a blender body provided at a lower side of the container body and supporting the container body; and a container lid mounted removably to an upper surface of the container body and opening and closing the upper surface of the container body, where the container lid includes a lid casing having a gasket provided at a lower portion thereof; and a lid exterior material covering at least one surface of the lid casing. The lower part of the lid exterior material extends up to an upper part of the gasket, and the lower end of the lid exterior material is bent inward.
Roasting and glazing apparatus
A roasting and glazing apparatus includes a housing having a top peripheral surface with an opening defined by an interior edge, a roaster bowl movable from within the housing, through the opening, to an elevated position above the housing, and a pour tray configured to detachably couple to the interior edge, and to receive and guide a fluid exiting the roaster bowl when the roaster bowl is in the elevated position. The pour tray has a bottom surface and a mounting bracket extending from the bottom surface. The mounting bracket is configured to detachably couple to the interior edge of the housing defining the opening. In an assembled configuration, the bottom surface of the pour tray is oriented at an angle relative to the top peripheral surface of the housing and supported by a shoulder or side peripheral surface of the housing.
KITCHEN APPLIANCE WITH LID
A kitchen appliance is described. The kitchen appliance has a chamber delimited by a wall arrangement and a lid for sealing the chamber. The lid is attached to the wall arrangement through a hinge mechanism having an arm and a further arm. The arm has a first terminal portion attached to the wall arrangement through a first pivot proximal to a first end portion of the lid and an opposing second terminal portion attached to an intermediate portion of the lid through a second pivot. The further arm has a first further terminal portion attached to an intermediate portion of the arm in between the first terminal portion and the second terminal portion through a third pivot and a second further terminal portion terminating in a sliding arrangement on the lid in between the second pivot and the first end portion of the lid.
Kettle
A kettle includes a kettle body and a kettle lid. A water fill inlet is defined through the kettle lid and the kettle lid further comprises a water filling flap movably disposed below the water fill inlet for movement between a sealing position and an unsealing position with respect to the inlet. A closure mechanism is configured to apply a resilient drive force to bias the water filling flap toward its sealing position so as to enable the water filling flap to seal the water fill inlet. The water filling flap is configured to be moved toward its unsealing position to open the water fill inlet under the weight of water in the water fill inlet.
