THREAT COPING SYSTEM
A threat coping system (10) is provided with a threat coping device (300) that copes with a coping target (30) and a control device (200) that controls the threat coping device. The control device (200) is provided with a no-coping area setting means (514) and a coping instruction means (526). The no-coping area setting means (514) sets a no-coping area (12) based on information of a no-coping target that is not to cope with. The coping instruction means (526) generates an instruction signal, that instructs the threat coping device to cope a coping target, based on the no-coping area.
Method and system for analyzing surroundings of an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle
Disclosed are a system and methods for operating an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle. One method comprises travelling in an outdoor setting, capturing data related to the outdoor setting, processing captured data and identifying occlusion present in the preprocessed data. The system comprises an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle configured to travel in outdoor settings and comprising at least one first sensor and at least one processing component. The processing component is configured to process data captured by the first sensor and identify occlusion present in the preprocessed data.
Bandwidth estimation for video streams
Methods and systems for improved quality of a streaming session using multiple simultaneous streams. For the multiple simultaneous streams an audio/video device (A/V device) records and generates a high-resolution stream and a low-resolution stream for simultaneous transmission to a server. The server selects one of the two streams for retransmission to a destination client device. The server also monitors the streaming session and estimates a total available bandwidth between the server and the A/V device and assigns a confidence value to the bandwidth estimation. The server periodically transmits the bandwidth estimate and confidence value to the A/V device to improve the efficiency of the streams being generated by the A/V device. The A/V device can use the received bandwidth estimate and confidence value to adapt the resolution of each of the streams to efficiently use the total available bandwidth between the A/V device and the server.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AUTOMATICALLY MATCHING AUDIO CONTENT WITH VISUAL INPUT
A method and system for automatically matching audio content with visual input by obtaining a video or image(s) from a digital camera, analyzing the video or image(s) to extract image label(s), mapping the image label(s) to predefined input-output relationships to determine a set of input feature values, and selecting a set of music tracks from a plurality of music tracks stored on a storage device having associated semantic feature values most closely matching the determined input feature values to create a playlist.
METHOD FOR TRACING POLLUTION AT DRAINAGE OUTLET OF CULVERT
A method for tracing pollution at a drainage outlet of a culvert. (1) The main line of the culvert is fully detected through an inspection robot to obtain the image data, water quality data, coordinates and other basic data of the outlet. (2) The type of the outlet is determined according to the data information obtained in step (1). (3) Pollutants in the drainage outlet with suspected rainwater-sewage connection are traced, and sources of the pollutants flowing to the outlet are all located.
Determining causation of traffic events and encouraging good driving behavior
Systems and methods are provided for determining cause of atypical traffic events and/or encouraging good driving behavior. The systems and methods may involve a camera sensor and/or inertial sensors to detect traffic events, as well analytical methods that may attribute a cause to the traffic event. The systems and methods include a processor that is configured to determine an occurrence of an atypical traffic event at or near a monitored vehicle; and determine a cause of the atypical traffic event based on data collected at the monitored vehicle, wherein the cause of the atypical traffic event is at least one of: a driver or control system of the monitored vehicle; a second driver or second control system of a second vehicle; and a road condition.
Forest surveying
A surveying apparatus comprising a controller (CPU), the controller (CPU) being configured to: receive an image stream representing a video sequence; determine a camera pose for a second image in the image stream relative a first image in the image stream; match the first image with the second image, based on the cam-era pose; and generate a three dimensional model based on the image match.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO DETERMINE OBJECT POSITION USING IMAGES CAPTURED FROM MOBILE IMAGE COLLECTION VEHICLE
An object identification method is disclosed. The method includes obtaining images of a target geographical area and telemetry information of an image-collection vehicle at a time of capture, analyzing each image to identify objects, and determining a position of the objects. The method further includes determining an image capture height, determining a position of the image using the capture height and the telemetry information, performing a transform on the image based on the capture height and the telemetry information, identifying the objects in the transformed image, determining first pixel locations of the objects within the transformed image, performing a reverse transform on the first pixel locations to determine second pixel locations in the image, and determining positions of the objects within the area based on the second pixel locations within the captured image and the determined image position.
Method and system for facilitating access to recorded data
The present invention relates to a method and system for facilitating access to recorded data. The system comprises an interface and a processing device. The interface is arranged to receive data and the processing device is arranged to separate the received data in data subsets, compress each data subset and assign an identifier to each compressed data subset, thereby creating data units each comprising a compressed data subset and an associated identifier, the processing device further being arranged to establish an index on the basis of the assigned identifiers.
MANAGEMENT AND DISPLAY OF OBJECT-COLLECTION DATA
An object identification and collection method is disclosed. The method includes receiving a pick-up path that identifies a route in which to guide an object-collection system over a target geographical area to pick up objects, determining a current location of the object-collection system relative to the pick-up path, and guiding the object-collection system along the pick-up path over the target geographical area based on the current location. The method further includes capturing images in a direction of movement of the object-collection system along the pick-up path, identifying a target object in the images; tracking movement of the target object through the images, determining that the target object is within range of an object picker assembly on the object-collection system based on the tracked movement of the target object, and instructing the object picker assembly to pick up the target object.
