Input sensing circuit and display module having the same
An input sensing circuit includes a plurality of sensors to sense a touch event and to recognize a fingerprint. Among the sensors, at least one sensor includes two transistors and one capacitor. One electrode of electrodes of the capacitor makes contact with a finger of a person to form a capacitance, and the input sensing circuit senses the capacitance to sense the touch event and to recognize the fingerprint.
VEHICLE EMERGENCY RESCUE REQUEST SYSTEM
A vehicle emergency rescue request system includes a rescue request process apparatus and an in-vehicle apparatus. The rescue request process apparatus includes a surrounding-region terminal search unit, a rescue request transmission unit, a first request-addressee information acquisition unit, and a digital key providing unit. The surrounding-region terminal search unit searches for a terminal in a surrounding region. The rescue request transmission unit transmits a rescue request to the terminal. The first request-addressee information acquisition unit acquires, from the terminal, information identifying a request addressee who has the terminal on and accepts the rescue request. The digital key providing unit gives a door-unlock authority to the terminal after the information is acquired. The in-vehicle apparatus includes at least one processor and at least one memory. The processor acquires biometric information regarding the request addressee if the request addressee uses the door-unlock authority and unlocks a door of the vehicle.

A vehicle emergency rescue request system includes a rescue request process apparatus and an in-vehicle apparatus. Method for extracting a signature of a fingerprint and device implementing said method
A method for extracting a signature of a fingerprint shown on a source image is described. For this purpose, the source image is transformed into the frequency domain. One or more ridge frequencies are next determined by means of a convolutional neural network applied to said transformed image, n being an integer greater than or equal to 1. The source image is normalized in response to said n ridge frequencies determined. One or more signatures of said fingerprint are finally extracted from said n normalized images.
Dermatoglyph detector
A dermatoglyph detector includes a detection circuit and an electronic processor unit. The detection circuit includes an electrically conductive thin film in which there are formed both electrodes that are arranged to come into contact with the skin of a portion of a human body and also conductive tracks connecting the electrodes to the processor unit. The processor unit is arranged to determine electrical characteristics of the body portion extending between each pair of electrodes in contact with the skin, and to execute a computer program for acting on the basis of the determined electrical characteristics to distinguish between an authentic body portion and a fake body portion. The detection circuit includes at least two track segments of different shapes between two calibration terminals so as to present an impedance ratio that is not equal to unity.

A display device relating to a method of operating thereof, including: a display panel having a touch sensing unit to sense an external touch and a display unit including a plurality of pixels; a fingerprint sensing panel to sense a fingerprint disposed on one surface of the display unit, the fingerprint sensing panel having a plurality of fingerprint sensing pixels respectively connected to a plurality of fingerprint scan lines and a plurality of fingerprint sensing lines, and a fingerprint scan driving circuit to drive one or more fingerprint scan lines included in a sensing area; and a read-out circuit to output a selection signal for selecting a sensing area of the fingerprint sensing panel.

A fingerprint verification method includes selecting one or more first fingerprint groups from among a plurality of fingerprint groups based on an input fingerprint image, each fingerprint group of the plurality of fingerprint groups including partial fingerprint images; and determining whether verification is successful based on the input fingerprint image and each of the partial fingerprint images included in the one or more first fingerprint groups.

A security tag can prohibit unauthorized usage of a device or product. The device may include an electronic nicotine delivery systems (“ENDS”) device, which may include aerosol delivery devices such as smoking articles that produce aerosol. The security tag can prevent usage until authorized. Attempts at usage without authorization can result in the device being unusable. The authorization may include identity confirmation or age verification.

The electronic device may comprise: a touch screen; a biometric sensor disposed overlappingly at a position of at least a part of the touch screen; and a processor for acquiring biometric information of a user from an input relating to an object displayed through the touch screen, by using the biometric sensor, receiving a payment command associated with a payment function for the object, and performing the payment function for a product corresponding to the object by using the biometric information according to the payment command. ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ACQUIRING FINGERPRINT INFORMATION THEREOF
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a light source, a fingerprint sensor, a memory configured to record an image of a reflected light detected when the light source is turned on, and a processor configured to operatively coupled to the light source, the fingerprint sensor, and the memory, wherein the light source may form an irradiation area on a display surface by light irradiation to a display, the irradiation area may include a fingerprint recognition area formed on the display, at least one surface may match the fingerprint recognition area or at least one vertex coincides, and the matched area may form a first area. The memory may store instructions allowing the processor to irradiate light in a designated direction using the light source, obtain a first image and analyze the first image to distinguish whether the object detected by the fingerprint sensor is flat or three-dimensional.
