System and method for acquiring multimodal biometric information

Methods, systems, and programming for user identification are presented. In one example, a system for acquiring biometric information is disclosed. The system comprises a housing including a surface for a person to place a finger thereon. The system also comprises a sensor, a first image acquisition portion, and a second image acquisition portion. The sensor is configured for sensing presence of the finger when the person places the finger on the surface. The first image acquisition portion is configured for acquiring a fingerprint image of the finger placed on the surface. The second image acquisition portion is configured for acquiring a finger vein image of the finger placed on the surface. The first and second image acquisition portions acquire their respective images at different times.

The technology described in this document can be embodied in a method that includes obtaining, by one or more image acquisition devices, a first image of a portion of a human body under illumination by electromagnetic radiation in a first wavelength range, and obtaining a second image of the portion of the human body under illumination by electromagnetic radiation in a second wavelength range. The method also includes generating, by one or more processing devices, a third image or template that combines information from the first image with information from the second image. The method also includes determining that one or more metrics representing a similarity between the third image and a template satisfy a threshold condition, and responsive to determining that the one or more metrics satisfy a threshold condition, providing access to the secure system.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED PROCESSING OF RETINAL IMAGES

Embodiments disclose systems and methods that aid in screening, diagnosis and/or monitoring of medical conditions. The systems and methods may allow, for example, for automated identification and localization of lesions and other anatomical structures from medical data obtained from medical imaging devices, computation of image-based biomarkers including quantification of dynamics of lesions, and/or integration with telemedicine services, programs, or software.

Devices and methods for anatomic mapping for prosthetic implants

A method of generating a patient-specific prosthesis includes receiving anatomic imaging data representative of a portion of a patient's anatomy. A first digital representation of the anatomic imaging data is defined. The first digital representation of the anatomic imaging data is modified. A second digital representation of the portion of the patient's anatomy is defined based on the modifying of the first digital representation of the anatomic imaging data. A patient-specific prosthesis is generated based at least in part on the second digital representation of the anatomic imaging data.
