Information processing apparatus, information processing system, and non-transitory computer readable medium storing program

An information processing apparatus includes a first acquisition section that acquires an image of a digitized document, a second acquisition section that acquires date information from the image acquired by the first acquisition section, a third acquisition section that acquires an application period different from an application period in a case where a recipient receiving the document is the same as an operator who has performed an operation of digitizing the document, in a case where the recipient is different from the operator, and a processing section that performs processing of preserving the image in a case where a current date and time satisfies a preset criterion for an application deadline set based on the date information acquired by the second acquisition section and the application period acquired by the third acquisition section.

METHOD FOR RENDERING VISIBLE SECURITY INFORMATION OF A DIGITALLY STORED IMAGE, AND IMAGE REPRODUCTION DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT SUCH A METHOD
20210233289 · 2021-07-29 ·

A method for rendering visible security information of a digitally stored image which has a plurality of pixels and at least one piece of digitally coded information comprises at least the following steps: allocating at least some of the pixels to at least one image region; determining an average color value of the pixels allocated to the image region; determining two mutually complementary color values whose average color value is at least approximately identical to the determined average color value of the pixels allocated to the image region; depicting the image region and at least part of the digitally coded security information in a visually perceptible manner.

The depicted image region thereby has a first of the mutually complementary color values. The part of the digitally coded security information is depicted within the image region and has a second of the mutually complementary color values.

DYNAMIC LAYOUT ADJUSTMENT FOR REFLOWABLE CONTENT

Systems and methods are provided for laying out reflowable content for display, such as content of an electronic book, in a manner that may differ from spacing properties originally defined in a corresponding reflowable file. When an amount of spacing that the reflowable file indicates should be included in a given line exceeds a threshold that is set based at least in part on the available line display length, the layout may be adjusted to decrease the total spacing for the line without adjusting the display size of reflow objects within the line. The adjusted layout may include utilizing a scaled down amount of space relative to the spacing properties defined in the reflowable file, or applying a different alignment type than is indicated by the reflowable file.

DYNAMICALLY VERIFYING A SIGNATURE FOR A TRANSACTION

A first device may receive, from a second device, a request to approve a transaction wherein the request includes transaction data related to the transaction and an image of a signature of an individual that submitted the request. The first device may determine, after receiving the request, a priority level associated with the transaction based on the transaction data. The first device may process the image of the signature using a computer vision technique and/or a vector-based technique. The first device may select, from a memory storing a plurality of comparator signatures, a comparator signature for the signature based on the priority level. The first device may use the comparator signature to verify the signature to approve or deny the transaction. The first device may perform a comparison of the comparator signature and the signature in the image after processing the image and selecting the comparator signature.

MULTIFACTOR HANDWRITTEN SIGNATURE VERIFICATION

A system, method, and computer program product for verifying signatures. The system includes at least one processing component, at least one memory component, and a reference storage comprising a set of reference signatures. The system also includes a model generator configured to generate a signature model based on the set of reference signatures. Further, the system includes a verification component configured to receive a signature, and determine whether the signature is valid.

System and method for securing electronic document execution and authentication

The present embodiments provide an environment where a user first creates or imports a document comprising of fields to be completed by one or more users. All users who have view-only access or can act on a document are considered to be “in the workflow.” All users in the workflow (except view-only users) can take actions in the document by editing, adding or entering values or signatures in those fields. When the document is complete, a computing device adds an encrypted token visualization element to the document that uniquely identifies and secures the document. Thereafter, a copy of the original document, all attachments, authentication, security and validation information, and all other relevant information about the document and users will be available to view in the chain of custody and audit trail by the authorized users by scanning the token visualization element within the platform (web application or mobile application).

Automated signature extraction and verification

A system for extraction and verification of handwritten signatures from arbitrary documents. The system comprises one or more computing devices configured to: receive a digital image of a document; remove a subset of words from the digital image identified via OCR; determine a plurality of regions of connected markings that remain in the digital image; based at least in part on a pixel density or proximity to an anchor substring of each region, determine that a region contains a handwritten signature; extract first image data of the region containing a handwritten signature from the digital image; retrieve second image data of a confirmed example signature for a purported signer of the handwritten signature; and based on a comparison of the first image data with the second image data, forward a determination of whether the first image data and second image data are similar.

Authenticating a respondent to an electronic survey

This disclosure generally covers systems and methods that, in some embodiments, provide an electronic survey template for creating a user customizable electronic survey including authentication features. Those authentication features include, in some embodiments, authenticating questions with elements that capture a digitally drawn signature, digital image, fingerprint, or voiceprint. Certain embodiments of the disclosed systems and methods provide a graphical user interface comprising an electronic survey template with a menu of survey question types, including an option to create authenticating questions within the electronic survey template. Some embodiments of the disclosed systems and methods also provide functions and features that allow users to preview a customized electronic survey template as an interactive electronic survey or to preview individual electronic survey questions as interactive electronic survey questions.

CLASSIFYING DIGITAL DOCUMENTS IN MULTI-DOCUMENT TRANSACTIONS BASED ON SIGNATORY ROLE ANALYSIS
20210158015 · 2021-05-27 ·

A classifier receives a digital scan of a document and converts the content of the document in the digital scan from an image into text. The classifier analyzes the text to determine one or more predicted roles of one or more signatories, each predicted role determined based on one or more signature elements in the content of the document executed by the one or more signatories. The classifier evaluates each of the one or more predicted roles in view of a plurality of expected signatory role characteristics of a plurality of categories of documents of a transaction to select a particular category associated with the document from among the plurality of categories. The classifier classifies the document within the transaction as a particular logical type identified by the particular category from among a plurality of logical types for the transaction.

Remote document execution and network transfer using augmented reality display devices

An augmented reality user device includes a display, a physical identification verification engine, a gesture confirmation engine, and in interface. The display overlays a virtual file document onto a tangible object. The physical identification verification engine receives biometric data for a witness and confirms the witness's identity. The display displays a gesture motion from the signor. The gesture capture engine captures a gesture motion from the witness. The gesture capture engine generates a witness digital signature based on the captured gesture motion from the witness. The gesture capture engine generates a witness transfer token, the witness transfer token comprising the witness digital signature based on the captured gesture from the witness and the witness identity confirmation token. The interface communicates the witness transfer token to a server.
