METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SIGNATURE VERIFICATION

A method and system of signature verification that includes receiving a signature-in-question, extracting at least one of an image of the signature-in-question and a trajectory of the signature-in-question from the received signature-in-question, accessing a reference signature, extracting at least one of a reference image and a reference trajectory from the accessed reference signature, comparing the at least one of the image of the signature-in-question and trajectory of the signature-in-question to the at least one of the reference image and reference trajectory, and determining whether signature-in-question is authentic based on the comparison.

Using biometric data intelligence for education management

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for developing cognitive and behavioral metrics associated with a user. In some implementations, a system obtains data from a writing implement, the data indicative of a user performing a task by writing with the writing implement against a receiving device. The system extracts features from the obtained data. The system determines metrics that reflect characteristics of the user, the metrics that reflect cognitive characteristics of the user and metrics that reflect behavioral characteristics of the user. Based on the extracted features and the determined metrics, the system generates a user profile for the user. Based on the features indicating characteristics of the writing behavior of the user, the system modifies the generated user profile as a performance of the user changes over time. The system provides recommendations to improve the performance of the user.

COORDINATE INPUT PROCESSING APPARATUS, EMOTION ESTIMATION APPARATUS, EMOTION ESTIMATION SYSTEM, AND BUILDING APPARATUS FOR BUILDING EMOTION ESTIMATION-ORIENTED DATABASE

A coordinate input processing apparatus includes a position detection apparatus and a communication circuit. The position detection apparatus includes a sensor which detects a position pointed to by an electronic pen, and circuitry which acquires pen state information regarding a state of the electronic pen held by a person. The communication circuit transmits to an emotion estimation apparatus coordinates corresponding to the position pointed to by the electronic pen and the pen state information in an emotional state estimation request, and receives from the emotion estimation apparatus the coordinates corresponding to the position pointed to by the electronic pen, the pen state information included in the emotional state estimation request, and the information regarding the distracted state of the person holding the electronic pen in an emotional state estimation response having the same format as the emotional state estimation request.

CONTEXTUAL SENTENCE EMBEDDINGS FOR NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING APPLICATIONS

Methods and systems for embedding natural language sentences within a highly-dimensional vector space are provided. Additionally, various applications relating to natural language processing, are provided. Such applications include digital assistants and search engines, as well as systems for classifying, sorting, organizing, and/or pairing content that are associated with natural language objects. The sentence vector embeddings encode various semantic features of the sentence. Two separate language models, arranged in a serial architecture are employed to generate a sentence vector. The first language model generates token vectors for each of the tokens included in the sentence. The token vectors are employed as inputs to the second language model. The second language model generates the sentence vector for the sentence. A sentence vector embeds the semantic context of the corresponding natural language object within the vector space. The second language model may be trained via supervised learning on multiple semantic-related tasks.

SYSTEM FOR REMOTE REGISTRATION OF USERS OF A MOBILE NETWORK

Handwriting verification methods and related computer systems, and handwriting-based user authentication methods and related computer systems are disclosed. A handwriting verification method comprises obtaining a handwriting test sample containing a plurality of available parameters, extracting geometric parameters, deriving geometric features comprising an x-position value and a y-position value for each of a plurality of feature points in the test sample, performing feature matching between geometric features of the test sample and a reference sample, determining a handwriting verification result based at least in part on the feature matching, and outputting the handwriting verification result. Techniques and tools for generating and preserving electronic handwriting data also are disclosed. Raw handwriting data is converted to a streamed format that preserves the original content of the raw handwriting data. Techniques and tools for inserting electronic handwriting data into a digital image also are disclosed.

Method and a device for recognizing an individual by biometric signature

A method of recognizing individuals by means of at least one processor executing a recognition algorithm comprising the steps of: detecting biometric characteristics of a finger of a candidate for recognition while writing a signature by pressing the finger against a signature surface; encoding both the written signature and also the biometric characteristics in order to form signature data and biometric data of the candidate; and using the algorithm to compare the signature data and the biometric data of the candidate with signature data and fingerprint biometric data belonging to at least one individual and stored on a data medium.

Embodiments of the invention are generally directed to systems, methods, devices, and machine-readable mediums for implementing gesture-based signature authentication. In one embodiment, a method may involve recording a first gesture-based signature and storing the recorded first gesture-based signature. Then the method compares the first gesture-based signature with a second gesture-based signature. Then the method verifies the first gesture-based signature as authentic when the first gesture-based signature is substantially similar to the second gesture-based signature.

SIGNATURE GENERATING METHOD, AND SIGNATURE TEMPLATE SHARING METHOD AND DEVICE

A method including acquiring a signature template used by a user; and determining, according to contact information of the user, information content corresponding to an information item comprised in the signature template to generate a signature of the user. When the information content corresponding to the information item in the contact information of the user is changed, the signature of the user may be updated according to the changed contact information, so that information synchronization may be automatically maintained between information content in the signature and the contact information without the need of regenerating the signature by the user, which helps to simplify the operation of the user
