SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VERIFYING USER BY SECURITY TOKEN COMBINED WITH BIOMETRIC DATA PROCESSING TECHNIQUES
Embodiments of the inventive concept provide a system and method that verifies a user through a security token combined with biometric information processing techniques capable of changing and canceling the conventional encryption key without storing biometric information-related data corresponding to a user's personal information.
Privacy-preserving motion analysis
A method, a structure, and a computer system for privacy-preserving motion analysis. Embodiments may include collecting data corresponding to a user with one or more sensors and identifying one or more joints of the user based on the data. Embodiments may additionally include generating one or more 3D representations of the one or more joints of the user and anonymizing the one or more 3D representations by applying thereto a joint-centering and a random shuffling. Embodiments may further include classifying one or more actions of the user based on analysing the one or more 3D representations, and exporting at least one of the data and the one or more actions.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPLEX CONFIRMATION OF BIOMETRIC INFORMATION WITHOUT STORED BIOMETRIC DATA
A biometric capture is performed to capture multiple regions of a biometric modality of interest, such as regions of a user's face. A complex representation of the user's biometric data is generated, such that each data point within the complex representation is based on biometric information from multiple of the captured regions. Information that later allows reconstruction of the complex representation from another capture of the user's biometric information is stored in a public code that does not include any of the underlying biometric data from the user or information that can be used to derive the underlying biometric data.
VIDEO AND STILL IMAGE DATA ALTERATION TO ENHANCE PRIVACY
A computer alters at least one recognizable metric or text in a digitally encoded photographic image by operating an alteration algorithm in response to user input data while preserving an overall aesthetic quality of the image and obscuring an identity of at least one individual or geographic location appearing in the image. An altered digitally-encoded photographic image prepared by the altering of the at least one recognizable metric or text in the image is stored in a computer memory. User feedback and/or automatic analysis may be performed to define parameter values of the alteration algorithm such that the alteration process achieves preservation of aesthetic qualities while obscuring an identity of interest.
METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR AUTHENTICATING A USER
The present disclosure generally relates to a method for authenticating a user using an electronic device, where the electronic device comprises a biometric sensing system as well as a first, a second and a third control unit. The present disclosure also relates to a corresponding electronic device and to a computer program product.
Face image processing method and device
A face image processing method is provided. The face processing method comprising: extracting a plurality of features from a primary two-dimensional face image to generate a first feature vector; decomposing a three-dimensional face image into a plurality of base face images and a plurality of weighting factors corresponding to the base face images; generating a first two-dimensional code according to the first feature vector; and generating a second two-dimensional code according to the weighting factors.
Method and System for Securing User Access, Data at Rest and Sensitive Transactions Using Biometrics for Mobile Devices with Protected, Local Templates
Biometric data are obtained from biometric sensors on a stand-alone computing device, which may contain an ASIC, connected to or incorporated within it. The computing device and ASIC, in combination or individually, capture biometric samples, extract biometric features and match them to one or more locally stored, encrypted templates. The biometric matching may be enhanced by the use of an entered PIN. The biometric templates and other sensitive data at rest are encrypted using hardware elements of the computing device and ASIC, and/or a PIN hash. A stored obfuscated Password is de-obfuscated and may be released to the authentication mechanism in response to successfully decrypted templates and matching biometric samples. A different de-obfuscated password may be released to authenticate the user to a remote or local computer and to encrypt data in transit. This eliminates the need for the user to remember and enter complex passwords on the device.
METHOD FOR SECURING IMAGE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE PERFORMING SAME
The disclosure relates to a method of setting security on an image. The method of setting security on an image including biometric data includes: searching for a region including the biometric data in a first image; detecting a biometric image corresponding to the biometric data in the searched region of the first image; encoding the detected biometric image; and generating a second image by synthesizing a watermark configured to block access to the biometric data, the first image, and the encoded biometric image.
Methods and devices of enabling authentication of a user of a client device over a secure communication channel based on biometric data
A network node is configured to enable authentication of a user of a client device based on biometric data captured by the client device. The network node receives, from the client device, a request to authenticate a user that includes a first set of transformed biometric data transformed with a first secret feature transform key shared with the client device; fetches, from a secure end-user repository, a second set of enrolled transformed biometric data associated with the first set of transformed biometric data and a second secret feature transform key with which the second set of biometric data was transformed at enrolment of the transformed biometric data; and submits the second set of transformed biometric data and the second secret feature transform key over a secure communication channel to the client device.
