The present disclosure relates to methods for verifying users performed by at least one processor. The method for verifying users including transmitting, to a user terminal, a plurality of instructions that guide a user to perform a plurality of actions, receiving, from the user terminal, a video photographed in response to the plurality of instructions, determining presence or absence of the user in the video, and verifying the user based on a face of the user extracted from the video in response to a result of the determining indicating that the user is present may be provided.

The method for biometric characteristic acquisition includes: acquiring a plurality of configuration parameters, where the plurality of configuration parameters include a first exposure duration, parameters defining a first region and a target photosensitive value, where the first region is a local region in a photosensitive region of the chip for biometric characteristic acquisition; exposing the first region according to the first exposure duration, and acquiring a photosensitive value of the first region; determining a second exposure duration required to acquire the target photosensitive value in the photosensitive region according to the photosensitive value of the first region and the first exposure duration; and acquiring a biometric image according to the second exposure duration.

The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a body parameters supporting system of a vehicle for supporting obtaining body parameters of a person. The body parameters supporting system determines—with input from one or more surrounding detecting sensors adapted to capture a surrounding exterior of the vehicle—one or more body parameters capturing conditions for a person present outside the vehicle. The body parameters supporting system further communicates one or more instruction signals indicating one or more body motion and/or obstruction removal instructions, wherein the one or more instruction signals are determined in consideration of counteracting, changing and/or overcoming at least one of the one or more body parameters capturing conditions. An electronic device according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a touch screen. The electronic device includes a communication interface that may receive, from a touch pen, a pulse wave signal of a user which is measured from a finger of the user by the touch pen while the touch pen is placed on the touch screen. The electronic device includes a processor that may determine whether a measurement posture of the user is appropriate based on whether the finger touches the touch screen, and in response to determining that the user's measurement posture is appropriate, estimate bio-information of the user based on the received pulse wave signal.

A gaze estimation system includes: a display control unit that allows a point to look at where a target person looks at to be displayed to move in a predetermined moving aspect; a detection unit that detects a movement of eyes of the target person from an image of the target person; and a tracking determination unit that determines whether or not the eyes of the target person are following the point to look at on the basis of a relationship between the eye movement and a movement of the point to look at. According to such a gaze estimation system, the eye movement of the target person can be detected more appropriately.

Disclosed is a method for the physical, in particular optical, detection of at least one usage object. The method includes the step of carrying out at least one physical detection process, for example by a user and/or an implementation device, in particular of at least one photograph, of the usage object, so that the usage object may be detected in such a way that an image of the usage object as detected during the detection process is shown at the same time as the database object shown on the screen in an identical manner or in a manner identical to scale, wherein as a result of the detection process, the usage object is associated with at least one usage object class, for example a vehicle type, by the processing unit and/or the CPU and/or the user.
System and method of enrolling users of a wireless biometric lockset
A method of enrolling a user at a biometric lockset is described. The method includes receiving user access information from a mobile device of an administrative user of the biometric lockset. The user access information indicates to the biometric lockset to enter an enrollment mode in which a user identity is associated with fingerprint data in a user entry within a memory of the biometric lockset. A plurality of different light codes are displayed on the lockset, each one of the plurality of light codes representative of a different state of fingerprint data capture. A message is transmitted to the mobile device, and corresponds to the light code displayed at the lockset. The completed fingerprint data is stored in association with the user identity of the user in the user entry.
