Tolling system using both fully and limited equipped detection systems
A method performed by a computing system includes receiving from a first detection system, a plurality of identity tokens, the plurality of identity tokens including different types of identity tokens, the first detection system having a plurality of different types of detection instruments. The method further includes using information from the first detection system, creating correlation information that correlates different types of identity tokens. The method further includes receiving from a second detection system, a number of identity tokens, the second detection system having a plurality of different types of detection instruments that is fewer than the first detection system. The method further includes using the number of identity tokens received from the first and second detection systems, identifying a vehicle passing through the second detection system.
VEHICLE-DRIVING-RELATED PAYMENT SYSTEM, AND METHOD THEREFOR
A payment system for an occurring cost that is related to vehicle driving, and a method therefor are disclosed. A vehicle-driving-related payment server includes an input unit for receiving vehicle recognition information; memory having stored therein a program for processing payment for a cost related to vehicle driving, according to the vehicle recognition information; and a processor for running the program, wherein the processor transmits payment push for the cost related to vehicle driving, confirms whether an application is installed on a valid mobile terminal, and processes a payment process for the cost related to vehicle driving.
METHOD FOR THE AT LEAST PARTIALLY AUTOMATED GUIDANCE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for the at least partially automated guidance of a motor vehicle within an infrastructure. The method comprises receipt of an instruction for the at least partially automated guidance of the motor vehicle within the infrastructure. In the event of a positive check of the instruction, the motor vehicle is guided in an at least partially automated manner within the infrastructure. A corresponding system, a computer program, and a machine-readable storage medium, are also described.
Providing users with access to routes for traveling
Among other things, one or more techniques and/or systems are provided for providing users with access to a route for travelling. A user, of a client device, may send a request for access to the route to a route planning service. The route may correspond to a starting location and an ending location. The route planning service may query a route database to identify an entry indicating that a restricted access road segment (e.g., a high occupancy vehicle lane, a shoulder lane, a bus lane, etc.) and/or a road segment (e.g., comprising a traffic light alteration capability) exists between the starting location and the ending location. Responsive to successfully authorizing the user for travelling the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, the route, comprising the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, may be provided to the client device.
Path detection for tolling system using vehicle identifier correlation
A method includes receiving from a first detection system, a plurality of identity tokens, the plurality of identity tokens including different types of identity tokens, the first detection system having a plurality of different types of detection instruments, receiving from a second detection system, a number of identity tokens, the second detection system having a plurality of different types of detection instruments, using information from the first detection system and the second detection system, creating correlation information that correlates different types of identity tokens, using information from the first detection system and the second detection system, determining path likelihood for a plurality of moving objects passing through the first detection system and the second detection system, and updating the correlation information using the path likelihood for the plurality of moving objects.
Venue location identification for vehicular access control
A venue location identification system for vehicular access control is described. In one embodiment, the system includes at least one access control device. The access control device includes a processor, a communication interface, and an actuating mechanism configured to control a barrier for providing access to a parking area. The system also includes a user device associated with a vehicle. The user device is configured to communicate with the communication interface of the at least one access control device using ultra wideband (UWB) communication technology. The user device is further configured to transmit an access request to the access control device via UWB requesting permission to leave the parking area as the vehicle approaches the barrier.
Toll payment equipment
Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses provide a system for making toll payments using toll payment equipment. The system may include a mobile computing device, a toll gateway, and an insurance company computing device. The mobile computing device (e.g., a phone) may be configured to communicate with the toll gateway when a vehicle carrying the mobile computing device passes through the toll gateway. The mobile computing may send a signal to the insurance company computing device to cause the insurance company computing device to pay an appropriate toll or discounted toll (if applicable). The insurance company may maintain an account for a customer from which toll payments are made. In addition, the insurance company computing device may collect information about the vehicle as it passes through the toll gateway. The insurance company computing device may use this information to determine an insurance-related value, such as an insurance premium.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO OPTIMIZE CITYWIDE TRAFFIC FLOW BY PRIVACY PRESERVING SCALABLE PREDICTIVE CITYWIDE TRAFFIC LOAD-BALANCING SUPPORTING, AND BEING SUPPORTED BY, OPTIMAL ZONE TO ZONE DEMAND-CONTROL PLANNING AND PREDICTIVE PARKING MANAGEMENT
Some demonstrative embodiments include an apparatus, system and/or method related to system and method to optimize citywide traffic flow by privacy preserving scalable predictive citywide traffic load-balancing supporting, and being supported by, optimal zone to zone demand-control planning and predictive parking management
Method, system and related device of implementing vehicle automatically weighing
The application discloses a method, system and related device of implementing vehicle automatically weighing, so as to achieve the automatically weighing of the unmanned vehicle. The method includes: controlling, by a vehicle controller, a vehicle to drive automatically and stop at a weighing position; weighing, by a weighbridge sensor, the vehicle when sensing the vehicle stopping at the weighing position, and sending weighing end information to the vehicle controller; and controlling, by the vehicle controller, the vehicle to start and leave the weighing position when receiving the weighing end information.
LANE ALLOCATION USING V2X TOLLING
A first toll advertisement message (TAM) is broadcast from a roadside unit (RSU), the first TAM indicating geographic locations of lanes of a roadway for which tolls are due and payment information for traversing the lanes of the roadway. A tolling usage message (TUM) is received from a first priority vehicle in receipt of the first TAM, the TUM including a request to reallocate one or more of the lanes of the roadway for use by the first priority vehicle. Responsive to receipt of the TUM, the RSU sends a TUM acknowledgment to the first priority vehicle indicating a lane allocation for use by the first priority vehicle and broadcasts a second TAM indicating the geographic locations of lanes of the roadway for which the tolls are due, the payment information for traversing the lanes of the roadway, and the lane allocation.
