COFFEE TAMPING TOOL AND METHODS OF USING SAME
A coffee tamping tool, comprising: a main body including, an internal compartment; and, a portafilter receptacle area configured for receipt of a portafilter therein; a control circuit board disposed within the internal compartment; and, a tamper disc disposed within the portafilter receptacle area.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING LIQUID EXTRACTS
The present disclosure is generally related to systems and methods for producing liquid extracts from a solid raw material, as well as related equipment. Certain aspects are related to the production of multiple liquid extract products using a single system by adjusting one or more displaceable fluidic pathway segments within the system to switch between first and second (or more) extraction configurations. In certain embodiments, a first liquid extract can be produced when the displaceable fluidic pathway segment is in a first configuration, and a second liquid extract (different from the first liquid extract) can be produced when the displaceable fluidic pathway segment in in a second configuration (different from the first configuration).
EXTRACTION CELL
An upward flow extraction method, apparatus, and extract are disclosed. The upward flow extraction method can comprise loading extraction material into an extraction cell having a bottom portion and a top portion; introducing a first aliquot of extraction medium through the bottom portion of the extraction cell; expelling gas from the extraction cell through the top portion of the extraction cell; closing the top portion of the extraction cell and increasing the pressure in the extraction cell as extraction medium flows into the bottom portion of the extraction cell; stopping the flow of extraction medium into the extraction cell; steeping the extraction material in the extraction medium under pressure to produce an extract; and introducing a second aliquot of extraction medium through the bottom portion of the extraction cell to push extract through top portion of the extraction cell.
MANUAL PRESSURE TYPE COFFEE MAKER
A manual pressure type coffee maker includes an outer cup body, the outer cup body is provided with a cup cavity with an open end, and with an inner container that can be inserted into and pulled out of the cup cavity from the open end, the technical points are the inner container is provided with an inner container cavity for containing brewing materials, the inner container is provided with a sealing ring that separates the cup cavity to form a closed space, and a bottom of the inner container cavity is provided with a filter communicated with the closed space, when the inner container is pulled outwards, negative pressure is formed in the closed space so that liquid in the inner container cavity is sucked into the closed space through the filter. The invention can brew coffee by negative pressure with a simple structure.
Beverage Brewer
A beverage brewing device includes a lower container for receiving and heating water, a connected upper container for receiving beverage, and a piston-cylinder assembly for receiving grounds, captured within the lower container. The piston-cylinder assembly includes a cylinder, a piston movable in the cylinder, a conical diffuser fixedly attached to the piston, and a freely movable mass disposed between the piston and the conical diffuser. The piston and the conical diffuser define an expansion chamber therebetween. The chamber is formed between a diffuser plate forming the top of the piston and an inner conical surface of the diffuser, which defines an orifice functioning as a nozzle. The diffuser plate has a plurality of holes, on which the grounds are placed. The mass is seated at a valve seat at the entrance of the expansion chamber to operatively block the flow of fluid through the nozzle when the pressure of the fluid is insufficient to displace the weight of the mass. When water is heated in the lower container becomes pressurized sufficiently to pass through the nozzle and displace the seated mass from the valve seat, the water passes through the nozzle at relatively high pressure and velocity, and enters the expansion chamber at lowered pressure. It then flows through the diffuser plate, through the grounds, and into the upper chamber.
Tamping augur
A compacting auger for ground coffee has an automatic cut off that responds to either timing signals or to the torque resistance to the augur offered by the coffee that has been compacted. The automation of the cut off increases the consistency of compaction and reduces the amount of skill required to compact ground coffee for making espresso.
DELIVERY ASSEMBLY FOR A COFFEE BEVERAGE AND CORRESPONDING DELIVERY MACHINE
A delivery assembly for a coffee beverage extracted under pressure by means of water through a substrate of powdered coffee comprises an extractor body (11) which has a passage circuit (13) from an entry aperture (24) for the water to a delivery aperture (25) of the coffee beverage, there being present, along the passage circuit (13), a first seating (16) that acts as an extraction chamber to receive the substrate of powdered coffee made downstream of the entry aperture (24) and, downstream of the first seating (16), a second seating (17) communicating with the delivery aperture (25) and the delivery assembly also comprises a proportional membrane valve (15) selectively adjustable to control the delivery flow of the coffee beverage at exit from the first seating (16) and able to be housed in the second seating (17).
GRINDER FOR PREPARING BREWING MATERIALS
A grinder for preparing brewing materials has a main casing, a grinding assembly and an unloading assembly to measure the amount of the brewing powder to unload. The unloading assembly has an unloading motor and a measuring barrel. When the user puts the brewing materials into the main casing, the grinding assembly grinds the brewing materials into the brewing powder. The brewing powder drops into the unloading assembly. When the unloading motor actuates the measuring barrel rotates, the brewing powder is deposited in a partafilter. Therefore, a user can grind tea leaves, Chinese herbal medicine, the petals and so on to have fresh brewing powder. Brewing liquids with the fresh brewing powder keeps the nutrient content and flavor. In addition, the bags for packaging the brewing powder is no longer needed to reduce environmental pollution and packaging cost.
DEVICE FOR GRINDING AND DOSING COFFEE
A coffer grinding and dosing device (12) comprises: a collection chamber (16) for containing coffee beans, underneath which a grinding zone (14) comprising a grinder (18) operated by an electric motor (20) is provided. The device is characterized in that the collection chamber (16) is positioned underneath the electric motor (20).
BREWING APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE
Provided are an apparatus and method that provides a brewing machine that produces a static water pressure with a variable water pressure. A first portion of an adaptor includes a peripheral wall that defines a region that receives heated water at a first pressure. A plurality of flanges protrude outwardly from the peripheral wall and cooperate with a group head of the brewing machine that is configured to receive and support a portafilter. A second portion is separate from the first portion, and arranged below the first portion to receive a portafilter basket. A conduit conveys water between the first portion and the second portion. A pressure regulator in fluid communication with the internal passage adjusts the heated water from the first pressure to a second pressure that is less than the first pressure, to be introduced to coffee in the portafilter basket at the second pressure.
