ABNORMAL SOUND DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
An abnormal sound diagnosis system includes a sound acquisition unit configured to acquire data of a sound generated from an object, an inquiry information acquisition unit configured to acquire inquiry information regarding an abnormal sound generated in the object, an arithmetic processing unit configured to acquire a spectrogram indicating a relationship among a time, a frequency, and sound pressure from the data of the sound, an extraction unit configured to acquire, based on the inquiry information acquired by the inquiry information acquisition unit, an inferred frequency range of the abnormal sound generated in the object and extract an extracted range corresponding the inferred frequency range of the spectrogram acquired by the arithmetic processing unit, and a diagnosis unit configured to diagnose, based on the extracted range of the spectrogram extracted by the extraction unit, a cause of the abnormal sound generated in the object.
DRIVING DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION MANAGEMENT APPARATUS AND DRIVING DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION MANAGEMENT METHOD
A driving diagnostic information management apparatus includes: a diagnostic information acquisition portion configured to acquire driving diagnostic information on a driver; a storage processing portion configured to store the driving diagnostic information per driver in a storage portion; a reception portion configured to receive a provision request on the driving diagnostic information; and a providing portion configured to, upon receipt of the provision request on the driving diagnostic information, provide the driving diagnostic information on a driver corresponding to the provision request.
INFORMATION PROVISION DEVICE, INFORMATION PROVISION METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
In an information provision server as an information provision device, a processor is configured to receive vehicle information on a vehicle, generate maintenance recommendation information for prompting a user to implement maintenance of the vehicle based on the vehicle information, and provide the user with the maintenance recommendation information and value information that is usable when the maintenance is implemented based on the maintenance recommendation information.
CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK AND CONNECTIVITY HEALTH TROUBLESHOOTING SYSTEM
A system and method for diagnosing connection and communication in an industrial machine. The electronic processing system includes a CAN bus, an ethernet network, and a plurality of devices connected to the CAN bus and the ethernet network. The plurality of devices includes at least one controller programmed to run one or more software applications. A connectivity check is performed to obtain CAN connection status data and ethernet connection status data for the plurality of devices. The CAN connection status data and the ethernet connection status data is analyzed to determine a likely cause of a device connection issue. A solution to the device connection issue is output to a user based on the analyzed data.
SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE OPERATOR WORKLOAD ASSESSMENT AND ANNUNCIATION
A system to assess the current, or future workload of a pilot and automatically providing annunciation when needed to the pilot, as well as to resources that support the pilot. The system may automatically, and without pilot involvement, assess the workload for the pilot based on incoming events and abnormal scenarios. The predicted incoming events may be related to operation data, such as navigation information, weather, traffic avoidance, and so on. The system may also detect abnormal scenarios, such as engine warnings, fuel or other aircraft issues. The system may determine whether the predicted incoming events or the abnormal scenario satisfies one or more pre-defined criteria. Based on the event satisfying one or more criteria, the system may output an annunciation to either the pilot, resources that support the pilot, such as an additional pilot and air traffic control (ATC).
Method and control arrangement for controlling vehicle freewheel with engine off and power steering
A method (300) and control arrangement (210) for controlling a vehicle (100) to freewheel with engine off. The vehicle (100) has an engine (260) for propelling the vehicle (100) and a hydraulic power steering system (400). The hydraulic power steering system (400) comprises a primary power steering pump (270a) arranged to be driven by the engine (260) and a secondary power steering pump (270b). The method (300) includes: determining (301) when to start freewheeling the vehicle (100) with its engine off; and prior to starting the freewheeling of the vehicle (100) with engine off, determining (302) to start the secondary power steering pump (270b).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING AIRCRAFT SENSOR DATA
A system including an aircraft, and a computing system remote from the aircraft. The aircraft includes a sensor, an aircraft component associated with the sensor, a first transmitter, and a first receiver. The computing system includes a processor, a second transmitter, and a second receiver. The aircraft transmits sensor data sensed by the sensor to the computing system. The computing system is configured to process the received sensor data to generate status data indicative of an operational mode of the aircraft component, and to transmit, when the status data is indicative of an altered operational mode of the aircraft component, the status data to the aircraft via the second transmitter. The aircraft is configured to indicate, based at least partially on the status data received by the first receiver, the altered operational mode of the aircraft component.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DATA TRANSMISSION FROM AN AIRCRAFT ENGINE
Methods and systems for transmitting data from an aircraft engine. A plurality of input signals are received at a control device, during an operation of the aircraft engine, from one or more sensors of the aircraft engine, one or more actuators of the aircraft engine, or any combination of the one or more sensors and the one or more actuators. The plurality of input signals are combined, at the control device, into an output signal indicative of the operation of the aircraft engine. The output signal is transmitted, at the control device, to a controller located remotely from the aircraft engine.
Control device for vehicle-mounted apparatus
A control device for a vehicle-mounted apparatus, the control device includes: a second CPU state judging section provided to the first CPU, and configured to judge a state of the second CPU based on a state of the inter-CPU communication and a voltage value of the electric power supplied from the first electric power supply section, or the second reset signal; and a first CPU state judging section provided to the second CPU, and configured to judge a state of the first CPU based on the state of the inter-CPU communication and a voltage value of the electric power supplied from the second electric power supply section, or the first reset signal.
METHOD FOR DETERMINING A PERMISSIBLE STATE VARIABLE BOUNDARY VALUE OF A TECHNICAL SYSTEM IN A VEHICLE
A method for determining a permissible state variable boundary value of a technical system in a vehicle. The controllability of a subsystem is ascertained on the basis of an ASIL index and is determined from the controllability of the state variable boundary value.
