METHOD FOR ACQUIRING ROAD LOADS
A method for determining road loads includes preparing a road map (15) that contains information about the local configuration of a plurality of roads. For each of a plurality of vehicles (1) a vehicle location is determined and at least one vehicle location signal (So) that characterizes the location of the vehicle concerned is generated. Using the vehicle location signal (So) and the road map, the vehicles (1) are assigned to the roads. For each vehicle (1) a vehicle load mass is determined and at least one vehicle load mass signal (Sm) that characterizes the vehicle load mass is generated. At least one road loading signal (Sb) that characterizes a road load is generated for each road using the vehicle load mass signals (Sm) of the vehicles (1) assigned to it.
VEHICLE OCCUPANT VERIFICATION METHODS AND SYSTEMS
Disclosed are a vehicle and a vehicle occupant check method. The vehicle occupant check method comprises checking whether a vehicle occupant is inside a vehicle based on a first preset condition, comprising checking a presence of the vehicle occupant inside the vehicle through a detection sensor, when a current driver of the vehicle matches an existing driver, and a driving pattern of the current driver matches a driving pattern of the existing driver. The vehicle occupant check method further comprises checking whether the vehicle occupant is inside the vehicle based on a second condition, comprising checking a presence of the vehicle occupant inside the vehicle through a detection sensor, when the current driver of the vehicle does not match the existing driver, or the driving pattern of the current driver does not match the driving pattern of the existing driver.

Method for detecting a manipulation of an exhaust gas system and control unit and checking unit
A method detects a manipulation of an exhaust gas system, in which measured values are sent to an external checking unit by a control unit of the exhaust gas system. In the external checking unit, an evaluation of the exhaust gas system as “manipulated” or as “not manipulated” takes place. Model values are formed in the control unit, which are at least partially formed from the measured values which are sent to the external checking unit. The external checking unit takes the model values and the measured values into consideration in the evaluation of the exhaust gas system.

FLEET DATA COLLECTION USING A UNIFIED MODEL TO COLLECT DATA FROM HETEROGENOUS VEHICLES
A system comprising one or more computing devices implements a vehicle information extraction service. The vehicle information extraction service enables customers to maintain a model of a fleet of vehicles and collect vehicle information from heterogenous vehicles included in the fleet, wherein the vehicles are configured with different in-vehicle communication configurations. The vehicle information extraction service automatically generates scheme packets for data collection to be sent to the heterogenous vehicles, wherein are formatted in accordance with the different respective in-vehicle communication configurations of the heterogenous vehicles, without the customer of the vehicle information extraction service having to account for these differences.
