A diagnostic tool includes a processor, display, and memory storing instructions to perform scan tool functions (STF) including transmitting a message to a vehicle. The STF include first STF for a first system of the vehicle. Additional stored instructions are executable to display a first user-interface screen (UIS) including a first user-selectable control (USC) including an indicator of a first scanner job performable on the vehicle, and to display a second UIS instead of the first UIS in response to a selection of the first USC. The second UIS incudes: a second USC including an indicator of the first STF for the first system of the vehicle, and guidance for performing a procedure of the first scanner job. The stored instructions are executable to transmit a first vehicle data message to a component of the first system in response to a selection of the second USC.

The method includes: acquiring a labeled ADE score of an ADE item within a time period in which the ADE item occurs, and recording labeled data of an ADE index for indicating a vehicle state; acquiring a correlation between the ADE item and the vehicle state, according to the labeled ADE score and the labeled data of the ADE index; acquiring data of a target ADE index within a preset time period, and acquiring a target ADE score according to the data of the target ADE index and a correlation between the ADE item and the vehicle state; and acquiring a vehicle performance evaluation result according to the target ADE score. The passenger participation is not necessary, costs can be reduced and a vehicle evaluation efficiency can be improved.

A method and an apparatus are provided for providing a vehicle component fault score. Faults that occur on vehicle components in a plurality of vehicles are tracked. One or more sets of attribute values are compiled for the tracked faults. A set of attribute values is collected for each item within one or more preset vehicle categories. A fault score is calculated for each set of the compiled attribute values. A set of one or more items with respective fault scores is displayed based on a preset vehicle category selected by a user.

The controller also determines the second operating characteristic of a work implement operatively connected to the first linkage member, compares the second operating characteristic to the second threshold, and generates and displays a second rating for the second quantitatively measurable task based upon the second operating characteristic and the second threshold.

TIRE HIGH TEMPERATURE FORECASTING SYSTEM
A tire high temperature forecasting system includes at least one tire that supports a vehicle, and at least one sensor mounted on the tire for measuring a temperature of the tire. An electronic memory capacity is in a unit mounted on the tire for storing tire identification information. A processor is in electronic communication with the sensor and the electronic memory capacity, in which the processor receives and correlates the measured temperature, a time of the temperature measurement, and the tire identification information. Transmission means transmit the measured temperature, a time of the temperature measurement, and the tire identification information to a remote processor. The remote processor executes a forecasting model, and the forecasting model generates a forecast estimate. If the forecast estimate includes a predicted high temperature that is greater than a predetermined high temperature threshold for the tire, an alert is generated by the forecasting model.
