METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COLLECTING AND MONITORING VEHICLE STATUS INFORMATION

The present application discloses a method and system for collecting and monitoring vehicle status information. By acquiring vehicle state data and storing it, processing the vehicle state data to obtain optimization data and display it, setting alarm rule, alarm threshold, alarm contact and alarm mode according to the displayed optimization data, and monitoring the optimization data, and generating an alarm when the optimization data reaches the alarm threshold. The vehicle status information collection and monitoring method disclosed in the present application can perform three-dimensional monitoring of resources and display and alarm.

Systems and methods for determining readiness of a fire apparatus

A readiness monitoring system for a fire apparatus includes a processing circuit that has programmed instructions to acquire fluid level data indicating at least one of a water level within a water tank, a fire suppressing agent level within an agent tank, a fuel level within a fuel tank, or a diesel exhaust fluid level within a diesel exhaust fluid reservoir of the fire apparatus; acquire fault data indicating any active faults with components of the fire apparatus; acquire maintenance data indicating whether maintenance is due or overdue; acquire exercise data indicating an elapsed time since the fire apparatus was last exercised; and determine a readiness score for the fire apparatus based on the fluid level data, the fault data, the maintenance data, and the exercise data.

Method and system of vehicle diagnostics

A method for vehicle diagnostics includes receiving vehicle information from a vehicle computer system and identifying, at the data processing hardware, at least one vehicle module from the vehicle information. The at least one vehicle module represents a detected fault of the vehicle computer system. The method also includes executing a diagnostic program configured to display on a display screen a graphical user interface having a fault topology window associated with at least one detected fault of the at least one vehicle module. The fault topology window has a vehicle information panel and a fault topology view panel. The diagnostic program is configured to receive a detected fault selection input of the at least one detected fault of the at least one vehicle module and display a fault topology view of the at least one detected fault of the at least one vehicle module.

CONTROL METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

A control method according to the present disclosure is a control method in a first computer configured to access a database managing information on vehicles and electronic keys. The control method includes receiving, from a terminal of a user, authentication information including an electronic key and an identification for a vehicle; after determining that the authentication information is valid, transmitting, to the vehicle, a signal indicating that the user is permitted to use the vehicle; after the user starts using the vehicle, acquiring use information indicating a status of use of the vehicle from the vehicle; transmitting, when the electronic key is a company key correlated with a business entity, at least a part of the use information to a second computer related to the business entity; and not transmitting the use information when the electronic key is a personal key of the user.

Vehicle gateway device and interactive graphical user interfaces associated therewith

A system receives vehicle metric data from a gateway device connected to a vehicle. The vehicle gateway device gathers data related to operation of the vehicle and/or location data. The system receives data from multiple vehicles in a fleet. The vehicle gateway device gathers vehicle metric data at a high frequency. Instead of transmitting a large amount of vehicle metric data at a fine level of granularity, the vehicle gateway device aggregates and buckets the vehicle metric data over a period of time (such as, every five minutes). The system uses the bucketed data for fleet management analysis.
