PASSIVE ELECTRONIC LOCKS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates an electronic locking system. In certain embodiments, the electronic locking system includes a passive electronic lock, active electronic key and passive electronic key. The passive electronic key stores a passive digital key, and the active electronic key stores an active digital key. Each of passive and active electronic keys includes a communication channel and an electronic key power supply port. The active electronic key includes electrical power source providing electrical power supply to active electronic key, passive electronic lock and passive electronic key through passive electronic lock to operate passive electronic lock. When both active and passive electronic keys are inserted into respective electronic keyholes of passive electronic lock, both active and passive digital keys are transmitted to passive electronic lock, passive electronic lock can be locked and unlocked only when both active and passive digital keys received match prestored active and passive digital keys respectively.
Systems and methods for windows as a microphone keypad entry
Disclosed is a system that uses a window as a microphone as a replacement for keyless entry to a vehicle. The system includes a window which acts as a microphone using a piezoelectric transducer that captures resonance on an outside surface of the vehicle window when pressure waves (e.g., voice commands or taps) impact it. To recognize this sound, a transducer controller amplifies vibrations from the window tap or spoken commands. The system may include a low-power mode that listens for input while the vehicle is off. In a second, high-power mode, the system may detect a tapping event, which may prompt a transition to a wake-up state. The system may associate a number and timing of taps with unique user keys, similar to key selections of numbers on a keypad. The system may also recognize verbal PIN code input using the piezoelectric transducer microphone.
STORE APPARATUS, STORE SYSTEM, CHECKOUT METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A store apparatus (10) includes a reading result registration unit (110) that registers a tag reading result including tag recording information acquired by reading a tag provided to an individual product by a reading apparatus of a gate and radio wave intensity received from the tag, in association with person determination information about a person who passes through the gate, a purchase product confirmation unit (120) that confirms a purchase product, based on the tag reading result for each person, and a checkout unit (130) that performs checkout processing of the purchase product confirmed by the purchase product confirmation unit (120). When tag recording information related to a same tag is included in both of a first tag reading result related to a first person and a second tag reading result related to a second person who passes through the gate after the first person, the reading result registration unit (110) confirms the first tag reading result, based on magnitude of intensity of a radio wave received from the same tag.
STORE SYSTEM, STORE APPARATUS, CHECKOUT METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A store system (1) includes: a reading apparatus (220) that reads a product that passes through a gate (20); a person determination information acquisition apparatus (210) that acquires person determination information that determines a person P who passes through the gate (20); a coupon notification unit (110) that transmits, when a coupon applicable to any product read by the reading apparatus (220) is present, notification information that provides notification of the applicable coupon, to a terminal (30) associated with the person determination information; a checkout unit (120) that performs checkout processing of a product read by the reading apparatus (220), and application processing of a coupon based on coupon use information that is acquired from the terminal (30) and indicates a coupon to be used by the person P; and an electronic receipt transmission unit (130) that transmits an electronic receipt to the terminal (30) in response to execution of the checkout processing and the application processing of a coupon.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURE LOCK SYSTEMS WITH REDUNDANT ACCESS CONTROL
Systems and methods for providing secure locks having redundant access channels are disclosed. In some embodiments of the invention, the smart lock has a hardware processor, a power source, a cylinder, a button that forms a rose knob, and a rose protector. The rose knob and rose protector protect and conceal the hardware processor, the power source, and the cylinder. The rose protector forms an annular groove that slidably interlocks with the rose knob. The rose knob has a plurality of redundant access channels for receiving authentication information. The redundant access channels may include a biometric scanner for receiving biometric information, a passcode keypad for entering a token, or a wireless transceiver for receiving a token from a mobile device and transmitting a response to the mobile device. When the user cannot open the lock through the first redundant access channel, the smart lock is configured to allow access through a second access channel.
ACCESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR WAREHOUSE RACK LOSS PREVENTION
A merchandise access system for a retail merchandise display is provided. The system includes a product support structure, a door and a brake. The product support structure defines a product storage area. The product storage area is formed between a front end and rear end of the product support structure. The door is transitionable between an open orientation in which selected product of the plurality of product can be removed from the product storage area and a closed orientation in which the plurality of product cannot be removed from the product storage area. The brake transitions between a braking position that prevents unselected product of the plurality of product from being moved towards the front end due to a biasing force and a release position in which the unselected product can move towards the front end due to the biasing force.
SECURITY KEY SYSTEM
An aspect of the disclosure includes a security system and method having a key with nanoscale features. The key includes a body. At least one pattern member disposed on the body, the pattern member formed using a directed self-assembly polymer to define a pattern of random feature structures thereon, the feature structures having a width of less than 100 nanometers.
Electronic hidden shackle padlock with key override
Systems and apparatuses include a lock including a shackle movable between an unlocked state and a locked state, an electronically actuated blocker selectively engaged with the shackle to inhibit movement of the shackle from the locked state to the unlocked state, the blocker movable between a key override disabled position, a key override enabled position, and an electronic unlock position, and a key cylinder structured to move the shackle to the unlocked state when the blocker is in the key override enabled position.
System and Method for Secure Delivery of Medical Cannabis Products
The present invention relates to a system and a related method for the secure ordering, tracking and delivery of a narcotic product (e.g., medicinal or recreational marijuana) to a remote location, such as a residence. More specifically, the secure lockbox functions in combination with a software application that enables the customer to order the product, track its real-time delivery, and expected arrival time for the order from a remote location. The lockbox is sealed with the ordered product inside, and can only be accessed by the customer with a unique and secretive code.
INTELLIGENT SECURE KEYPAD KEYLESS TRANSMITTER
The present invention is directed to intelligent secure keyless keypad transmitter entry system mounted outside property integrated into an existing motorized garage door opening system or any motorized gate system for secure entry and package delivery using a barcode scanner. The invention uses package tracking codes stored in advance to open a door or gate with a delivery notification to the owner. Motion detection and facial recognition biometric cameras allow invited persons to enter property. The camera and microphone/speaker allow video communication via external devices. The keypad may be used in conjunction with the LED screen to program the console device with temporary or permanent PIN codes for entry code allowing owners to verify access and exit of service providers. The console device offers complete remote control of device functions and all activity on the device to be transmitted electronically to the owner's mobile device.
