A concealed carry weapon (CCW) container offers a user a fail-secure locking mechanism to ensure that the CCW stays locked at all times even when there is no power. Further, a method for managing the fail-secure locking mechanism allows the user to efficiently access the CCW content using a mobile app, the RFID tag, or any other biometric technology. Additionally, the method provides a panic switch that alerts security authorities of an incident and forwarding any salient video or sound thereto.

A system and method for locating fitness centers within a user's geographic area and gaining access and redeeming time-based memberships to fitness centers through an integrated mobile computer application via a mobile electronic device (e.g., smartphone, electronic tablet). The integrated mobile computer application allows an individual user to purchase a time-based membership (e.g., one day, two day, three day, one week, one month, etc.) from participating fitness centers using the integrated mobile computer application, redeem and activate the time-based membership upon check-in at a selected fitness center, and then continue to subsequently check-in at the selected fitness center throughout the term of the purchased time-based membership. In a preferred embodiment, initial check-in, activation and subsequent check-in at the selected fitness center is achieved through an electronic validation process using the user's mobile electronic device.

A set-top box with enhanced behavioral controls and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the set-top box, a wireless transceiver is located within a housing, which also interconnectively includes a signal input, a signal output, a processor, and memory. The set-top box may pair with an electronic door locking apparatus coupled to a door that is room-collocated with the set-top box in a hospitality establishment. The set-top box may then reprogram the electronic door locking apparatus as well as control amenities, such as a display, in response to presence signal from the electronic door locking apparatus.

Tabs extending the from the cover engage dented tab receiving regions of the mounting plate to secure the cover to the mounting plate. A method for controlling and managing a front door refrigerator using an application installed in a recording medium, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a step in which a user logs into a front door refrigerator control application installed in a recording medium including a mobile device, thereby allowing a main screen including menu display regions to be displayed on a display unit of the mobile device; and a step in which a storage information confirmation menu is selected from among a plurality of execution menus displayed in the menu display regions, wherein, when the storage information confirmation menu is selected, storage information of a product stored in the front door refrigerator is output to the display unit of the mobile device.

An exemplary embodiment pertains to a method of operating an electronic lockset during a plurality of iterations of a recurring period of time, wherein the electronic lockset includes a first electronic component. The method generally includes generating a usage score for the electronic component based on usage of the electronic lockset during the first iteration of the recurring period of time, selecting a schedule for the electronic component based on the first usage score, and during a second iteration of the recurring period of time occurring after the first iteration of the recurring period of time, operating the electronic component operating according to the selected schedule.
