SECURED DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND DEVICES
Systems and methods for providing secured delivery include identifying a transaction that includes a physical delivery of an item to a user-specified location; responsive to the identifying, obtaining an access token based at least in part on one or more access restrictions associated with the user-specified location; and making the access token available to a party associated with the physical delivery of the item. The access token enables the party to enter a predefined secured subarea within the user-specified location.
FLEXIBLE SECURITY SYSTEM FOR CASH-IN-TRANSIT
There is provided an adaptive access-control and monitor system that comprises at least one portable communication device, further comprising, a transceiver that is adapted to receive and transmit communication signals via a telecommunication link, at least one imaging sensor that is adapted to provide image data to an image processor and a rechargeable energy source and a user interface. The system further comprises at least one first remote actuator that is actuatable by said communication signals and/or electro-magnetic energy; at least one control station that is manned by at least one operator and which is adapted to receive and process said image data and monitor and/or control said at least one first remote actuator and said at least one portable communication device via said telecommunication link.
VISITOR ACCESS MANAGEMENT
Methods, systems and computer readable media for managing access of visitors to a facility are described.
SECURE SMARTPHONE BASED ACCESS AND START AUTHORIZATION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES
A Bluetooth enabled Smartphone may be used for both access control and start authorization in a secure and safe way, and embodiments are backward-compatible with conventional vehicle access and start systems. A smart phone acts as an intermediary authorization device to a code generator which effectively resembles a car key that is installed in a vehicle. A Bluetooth transceiver and the code generator—and, optionally, for the retrofit solution, an RF/LF transceiver—are added to the vehicle. The Bluetooth transceiver communicates with the smart phone. The code generator communicates with electronic control units in the vehicle that control access, immobilization, and engine start. The communication may happen via a wired connection or, in the case of the retrofit solution, via an RF/LF transceiver that mimics an additional car key programmed to the vehicle.
CARSHARING SYSTEM AND CARSHARING METHOD
A carsharing system includes circuitry configured to: receive, from a user, a usage request for requesting a reservation for use of a vehicle which is supplied for a vehicle rental service; permit the reservation for use of the vehicle when the reception unit receives the usage request and no reservation for use of the vehicle has been made at time of receiving the usage request; and give, when the reservation for use of the vehicle is determined, a permission for locking or unlocking by using electronic information to the user at a date and a time on which the vehicle is used.

Passenger authentication system for a transportation service vehicle
Access systems in accordance with various embodiments include techniques for mutual authentication between a passenger that has requested a transportation service and a dispatched vehicle for providing the requested transportation service. Passengers will present a two-dimensional (2D) code to a transaction client associated with the vehicle. The dispatched vehicle uses the 2D code to authenticate the passenger and grant access to the transportation service vehicle.
Methods and apparatus for facilitating operation of control access systems
A method for a security system includes receiving a first location and a first time period, retrieving an access control tree having nodes associated with locations and edges coupling nodes, wherein a first node represents the first location and a second node represents a building entry, traversing the access control tree from the second node to the first node to determine an ordered list of nodes and associated time periods, storing the ordered list of nodes and an identifier associated with a user, providing to a smart device a token associated with a requested access control point, when a requested node is within the first ordered list of nodes, and authorizing with the requested access control point a physical action visible to the user in response to the requested token.

Purchased item management and promotional system
Systems, methods and software are provided for providing visual marketing content with a locker system to customers in a retail store environment. The locker system includes an array of lockers, each locker of the array including a door having a flat exterior facing surface. All flat exterior facing surfaces of all lockers of the array are co-planar in their closed positions. The locker system includes a locker central control unit in communication with one or more memory devices. The system includes one or more electronic devices in communication with the locker central control unit for displaying the visual marketing content on one or more of the flat exterior surfaces. In practice, the disclosed systems, methods and software advantageously provide operators the ability to identify customers proximal the locker system, and deliver the visual marketing content in both a generic fashion and in a manner targeted to identified customers.
