Time Limited Code
A method including authenticating a voucher which has a time limited validity period. The method comprises: a user requesting issuance of a token to a customer in a machine readable form; and issuing one or more modified versions of the token to the user, each modified version of the token being associated with a different time period of validity of the token; scanning the ticket on a scanning device connected to a terminal operated by the user; the scanning device modifying the token according to a current time period; and the terminal operated by the user comparing the modified token provided by the scanner with the modified tokens issued by the central server to validate the scanned token. A further method is provided for performing a transaction, between a customer and a vendor, using a customer's mobile phone as an authorisation device. The further method comprises: a requesting a payment authorisation and receiving a single use authorisation code from the financial service provider which displays on the customer's mobile phone as an optically readable image; and the customer scanning the optically readable image on an optical scanning device to authorise the transaction.
INTERACTIVE IMAGE-BASED COMMUNICATION USING IMAGE CODING
Embodiments of a system and method for interactive barcode communication are described. In one embodiment, a mobile device presents a barcode to an information or transaction receptacle associated with the point of entry device. One embodiment provides for a method of transmitting data from an unconnected point of access device using an interactive barcode communication system on a mobile device, where the method comprises accessing a set of data on a point of access device, wherein the point of access device is unconnected from a data network with access to a central system database; dividing the set of data into multiple sections; incorporating the multiple sections into scan images for display during per-user transactions at the point of access device; and displaying the point of access data along with per-user transaction data during an interactive barcode communication transaction.
System and method for premise management
Systems and methods for premise management comprising a reservation 5 management module having at least one server, the at least one server arranged in data communication with a user device to receive a request for reservation from the user device to access a premise for a specific duration; and a key generator arranged in data communication with the reservation management module; wherein upon receipt of the request for reservation, the key generator generates a secret key for 10 the user to access the premise for the specific duration, is disclosed. The system may be integrated with other modules including, but not limited to, a lock system and a presence detection system to provide a seamless service to a user.
METHOD, SERVER, SMART TERMINAL AND STORAGE DEVICE FOR ACCESS AUTHENTICATION
Disclosed is a method for access authentication. The method includes: receiving profile information of a visitor through a server, and generating a visitor code and transmitting the same to a visitor terminal, and generating a random code based on a valid visitor code, and receiving a decoding result based on decoding the random code and the visitor code by the visit terminal, and predetermining an access authority for the visitor for a predetermined time as the decoding result is successfully matched.
SECURED DELIVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A secured delivery system can include a doorbell device comprising a scanner, and a locking mechanism operatively connected to the scanner, a computer processor or a cloud server and a structure, such as a residence or lockbox. A key, which can be in the form of a bar code, can be generated and sent to delivery or service personnel needing access to the structure. The delivery or service personnel present the bar code to the scanner. Upon reading the bar code, the locking mechanism is unlocked thereby allowing access to the structure.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING A COMMAND BASED ON VERIFICATION INFORMATION AND A CHALLENGE TOKEN
A computing device creates verification information and a challenge token and sends the verification information and token to a server. The computing device receives authentication credentials and a command from the server and a command. The authentication credentials were generated using verified authentication information and the token. The computing device verifies the authentication credentials and processes the command if the credentials are valid.
QUEUING SYSTEM
A technique for controlling access to one or more attractions is achieved using a number of access keys, each being issued to one or more users. An electronic queue management part manages a virtual queue in respect of each attraction and receives electronic requests for attraction access, each request relating to an access key and being for the users associated with it to access a particular attraction. Receipt of each request causes the respective users to be added to a corresponding virtual queue. A time at which each group of users reaches the front of the virtual queue and can access the attraction is determined. The users access the attractions by presenting an access key to an access control part, in communication with the electronic queue management part. Only a user presenting an access key at the correct time for accessing the attraction is allowed access to the attraction.
System and method of enrolling users of a wireless biometric lockset
A method of enrolling a user at a biometric lockset is described. The method includes receiving user access information from a mobile device of an administrative user of the biometric lockset. The user access information indicates to the biometric lockset to enter an enrollment mode in which a user identity is associated with fingerprint data in a user entry within a memory of the biometric lockset. A plurality of different light codes are displayed on the lockset, each one of the plurality of light codes representative of a different state of fingerprint data capture. A message is transmitted to the mobile device, and corresponds to the light code displayed at the lockset. The completed fingerprint data is stored in association with the user identity of the user in the user entry.
PHYSICAL ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM WITH SECURE RELAY
A method of operating an access control system comprises receiving, by a mobile device, an identification of a physical access portal; verifying access credential information stored in the mobile device using a verification application of the mobile device; establishing a secure communication channel with a secure relay device associated with the physical access portal; sending an encrypted access token stored in the mobile device to the secure relay device; and granting access by the secure relay device to the physical access portal according to the encrypted access token.
System and computer readable media enabling methods for permitting a request after verifying knowledge of first and second secrets
Systems and Computer Readable Media for enabling methods for multi-party authorization including a security component determining that a request for the performance of an action on a computing device is from a first party. The security component initiates transmissions to the computing device of first and second information indicating knowledge of first and second secrets provisioned on the computing device. The computing device, upon verifying the knowledge of first and second secrets, then permits the requested action.
