The system includes a wireless accessory sensor node, a bridge node that includes a bridge node processor, a bridge node memory, and a communication interface operative to communicate with at least a backend server, and an external sensor. The bridge node is operative to receive external sensor data, predict a change in future interactions with the one or more of storage receptacle components based upon the external sensor data, update a management profile based upon the predicted change in future interactions, and alter, using the updated management profile, an operational task related to monitoring for and reporting a change in state of the one or more storage receptacle components.

The ticket exchange server receives an indication from the first user surrendering the seat prior to completion of the event and locks the seat. The ticket exchange server provides a second ticket for the seat for a remainder of the event to a second client device of a second user in response to a request for the seat from the second client device. The ticket exchange server unlocks the seat in response to detecting a presence of the second user at the seat.

The authorization is wirelessly relayed to the station by the wireless device, to enable the dispensing of fuel. Subsequently, a log comprising the transaction is provided to the access management system, through the same or a different wireless, mobile computing device. The log may also report status and other events, such as load shedding.

The lockbox contains a microcomputer used in the processes of validating preapproved credentials. One method of obtaining access to the lockbox is by user carrying only an identification card, the lockbox scanning the identification card and transmitting its data to the lockbox's server for validation via an internal cell phone modem's connection through cell towers. The lockbox is also capable of capturing video and audio recordings, storing and categorizing the recordings into data such as traffic or noise levels over varying periods of time; and such data can be transferred to a user's cell phone upon the owner's approval. Additionally, the lockbox is powered by a solar panel power source, making it self-sustaining.
