LIQUID DISPENSING MACHINE WITH MANUAL DROP STOP
A machine (1) for dispensing a dispensable liquid (5) has: —a liquid delivery module (10) for delivering the dispensable liquid (5) from a source (50); —a service area (7) for collecting collectable liquid (5′) from the liquid delivery module (10); —a directing device (20) which has a dispensing position for directing the dispensable liquid (5) from the delivery module (10) to a dispensing area (6) configured to receive a user-receptacle (60) and a collecting position for directing collectable liquid (5′) from the delivery module (10) to the service area (7); and—a user-interface member (30) which is configured to be contacted and moved by a user to displace the member (30) from a first member position to a second member position. The user-interface member (30) is configured to exercise a force and/or a torque onto the directing device (20) to move the directing device (20) between the collecting position and the dispensing position when the user-interface member (30) is moved between the first member position and the second member position.
LIQUID DISPENSING MACHINE WITH COMPACT DROP STOP
A machine (1) for dispensing a dispensable liquid (5) has: a liquid delivery module (10) for delivering the dispensable liquid (5) from a source (50) and a service area (7) for collecting collectable liquid (5′) from the liquid delivery module (10). The machine further includes a directing device (20) that has a dispensing position for directing said dispensable liquid (5) from the delivery module (10) to a dispensing area (6) and a collecting position for directing collectable liquid (5′) from the delivery module (10) to the service area (7). The directing device (20) has only one evacuation portion (21) from which: —the dispensable liquid (5) is evacuated from the directing device (20) to the dispensing area (6) when the directing device (20) is in the dispensing position; and —the collectable liquid (5′) is evacuated to the service area (7) when the directing device (20) is in the collecting position.
MULTIPLE DOSING DEVICE AND MAGAZINE
The present disclosure concerns a multiple dosing device and magazine for releasing one or more doses of additive. The multiple dosing device comprises a magazine having a number of through openings, each receiving a tube, containing a dose of additive. The through openings and tubes (2) extended axially between two opposite ends of the magazine. The tubes are arranged moveable in an axial direction inside respective through opening. Each tube has a pointed lower end. An upper foil and a lower foil are placed adhered to the opposite ends of the magazine. The ends of the tubes are placed abutting or adjacent the upper and lower foils, respectively. The multiple dosing device further comprises an activation part with push buttons, which push buttons are placed for controlling the axial position of one tube each.

Method for making and dispensing coffee-based beverages
A method for making and dispensing coffee-based beverages in machines includes increasing the water temperature inside a boiler and assembly to achieve preheating with to adjust the delivered thermal power. The method includes three dispensing steps. Preheated water at a selected temperature achieves a pre-infusion in a preset time or water volume without pressure in the hydraulic pump, wherein the coffee powder is only wet. Next, the coffee powder is infused by means of the use of a logic unit that manages the volume of dispensed water by a volumetric meter and at a preset, constant pressure as a function of the ground coffee and dispensed product weight. An amount by volume of water is dispensed and calculated to achieve a selected and preset brew ratio. Finally, post-infusion is achieved in which the hydraulic pump is deactivated for a time needed to reach by weight the programmed dose of dispensed product.

Capsule and a system for, and a method of, preparing a beverage
A capsule (1) for preparation of a beverage from a beverage ingredient (32). The capsule comprising a first section (12, 14) and a second section (15, 40) which together form a beverage ingredient compartment of the capsule in which is received a beverage ingredient. The first section comprising a pre-formed inlet (23) for entry of aqueous medium into the capsule and the second section comprising a pre-formed outlet (41) for beverage formed, in use, from the beverage ingredient and the aqueous medium. Wherein the capsule is compressible when the capsule is inserted into the receptacle of a beverage preparation machine by the first section of the capsule being engaged by an inlet piercer (60) of the beverage preparation machine so as to cause movement of the first section of the capsule towards the second section of the capsule without piercing of the first or second sections.
Capsule and a system for preparing a potable beverage from such a capsule
Capsule containing a substance for the preparation of a potable beverage. The capsule comprises an aluminum capsule body having a side wall and an outwardly extending flange and a sealing member for providing a fluid sealing contact with an enclosing member of a beverage preparation device. The beverage preparation device comprises an annular element having a free contact end which is provided with a plurality of radially extending open grooves. The sealing member comprises a separate crushable element made of aluminum provided on the capsule body at a side thereof, which side is—when seen from the outwardly extending flange—opposite the cover.

AUTOMATED COFFEE AND TEA MAKER AND AUTOMATED PRESSURE BREWER
A full immersion brewing system includes an immersion chamber; an extraction material mechanism for introducing extraction material into the immersion chamber; an infusion mechanism for introducing heated liquid and pressurized air into the immersion chamber; and a drain/dispensing mechanism for dispensing, through a filter, infused liquid from the immersion chamber and for enabling removal of extraction material from the immersion chamber. The filter prevents extraction material from being dispensed from the immersion chamber. When the drain/dispensing mechanism is in a first position, infused liquid is dispensed through the filter, and when the drain/dispensing mechanism is in a second position, the filter is positioned so that extraction material and liquid is dispensed without going through the filter. The full immersion brewing system includes a cleaning mechanism for cleaning the immersion chamber and the filter.
