An appliance can include a body having a bottom portion configured to rest on a surface, and the flare, configured to be coupled to the body, such as coupled to the bottom portion of the body. An appliance includes a body having a bottom portion configured to rest on a surface, and a flare coupled to the body and configured to provide an anti-tipping stability to the appliance. A stop mechanism is configured to be coupled to a body and/or a lid of an appliance, and to limit an amount that the lid can be opened. An appliance can include a body, a lid, and the stop mechanism.

A scoop and level for scooping a portion of granulated material and leveling the contents of the scoop. The scoop may have a volume suitable for brewing a single serving of brewed beverage, and in particular, for brewing a single serving of espresso. The lever is attached to the scoop and slides over the scoop to displace excess material, thus providing a desired amount material for precessing, for example, for preparing a beverage. A scoop handle may further include a tamper opposite to the scoop. The tamper may be used to tamp brewing material after scooping, leveling, and pouring the brewing material into a holder.

An apparatus for brewing coffee in a pre-existing vessel includes a frame, a basket, a means for agitating the basket and a power source. The basket includes at least one opening that is capable of permitting liquid to transgress into and out of the basket. The power source provides the necessary power for operating the motor. The motor is attached to the frame and a linkage connects the motor to the basket. The means for agitating the basket imparts motion to the basket during operation. The apparatus may further include an on-board heat source.

A small manual coffee maker includes: a cup body and detachable coffee brewing base. A body lower end is connected to the base. Water and pressure chambers are in the body. A coffee brewing chamber and coffee outlet passage are in the base. The body has a water inlet passage communicating with the pressure chamber and a water outlet passage communicating with the pressure and coffee brewing chambers. A water chamber bottom has a water inlet communicating with the water inlet passage. The water inlet passage has a water inlet one-way valve which can control the one-way flow of water from the water inlet passage to the pressure chamber. The water outlet passage has a water outlet one-way valve which can control the one-way flow of water from the pressure chamber to the coffee brewing chamber. The body has a piston rod with one end extending into the pressure chamber.

An insulating container may include an opening, which can be sealed by a closure. The closure may have an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element. The closure may also be in the form of “flip” type of closure such that the lid can be selectably opened or closed by the user by rotating a flip closure into either the opened or closed position. A brewing device includes the discharging device, and a beverage maker. The beverage maker includes a container, a brewing device, and a discharging device positioned in the brewing device. The discharging device includes a vertical pipe assembly and a siphon cover sleeved on the vertical pipe assembly. The vertical pipe assembly penetrates through the bottom of the brewing device and includes a first high-position vertical pipe and a second low-position vertical pipe. The siphon cover includes a first high-position part and a second low-position part. When the siphon cover is sleeved on the vertical pipe assembly, the first high-position part covers on the first high-position vertical pipe, and the second low-position part covers on the second low-position vertical pipe.

A beverage brewer includes a container configured to hold liquid and having an open top, and a brewing material holder configured to be suspended into the container and to hold beverage brewing material in contact with liquid held in the container. The brewer also includes a pressure assembly operable to provide pressurized liquid flow through the brewing material holder within the container, and/or a heating element configured to be arranged at least partially in an interior of the container and operable to heat liquid held in the container.

Apparatus and system for mixing and dispensing accurately pre-measured powdered material. The apparatus comprising of a cap, a dispensing teat or similar, a screw down top with a fixed or removable plate insert, a powder keg and a bottle or similar, together with a system, wherein by rotating a screw down top with a fixed or removable plate insert engages a pre-sealed powder keg containing accurately pre-measured powdered material which acts to open and release the accurately pre-measured powdered material into a volume of liquid or similar.
