The second structure sections are spaced from each other in the first direction. Part of each of the second structure sections is fixed. The each of the second structure sections includes a second membrane part, a second piezoelectric part, a second conductive part, and a second electrode. The second structure sections are spaced from the first structure sections in the first direction. Pitch along the first direction of the second structure sections is shorter than pitch along the first direction of the first structure sections.

A method for evaluating sensor data for a value document includes a memory and a multi-core processor arranged to access the memory. A management sub-group of the cores comprises at least one of the cores, and at least one evaluation subgroup of the cores comprises at least one other of the cores. The management subgroup manages the memory regarding the storing of at least the sensor data and generates evaluation information for carrying out the evaluation. At least one evaluation subgroup carries out at least one part of the evaluation in dependence on the evaluation information and stores the result in the memory.

According to one embodiment, an inspection device includes a transmitter, a receiver, a feeder, and a processor. The transmitter emits an ultrasonic wave. The feeder causes an inspection object to move relative to the transmitter and the receiver in a space between the transmitter and the receiver. The processor processes a received signal corresponding to the ultrasonic wave obtained by the receiver. In a first state in which the inspection object includes a first region and a second region, the first region includes a foreign object, and the second region does not include the foreign object. The received signal includes a first signal level in a first interval, a second signal level in a second interval, and a third signal level in a third interval. The processor detects the foreign object by detecting at least one extreme value occurring in the received signal in a fourth interval.

An electronic ticket admission verification anti-counterfeiting system includes a ticket database for storing a ticket identifier to be downloaded and stored to a user-end device including a display screen and a sound receiving device; at least one admission determination device including a sound broadcasting device and a barcode reader for sequentially scanning a the first QR code and a second QR code displayed on the display screen. When analyzing that the first QR code is valid, the admission determination device controls the sound broadcasting device to broadcast a notification sound, and then analyzes the second QR code to determine whether to admit the user holding the user-end device. The first or second QR code is associated with the encrypted ticket identifier, and the second QR code is generated after the notification sound is received. The first QR code is different from the second QR code.

The present invention provides a sheet identification device and a sheet identification method capable of meeting a wider variety of requests. The sheet identification device of the present invention is configured to identify a sheet under transportation. The device includes a standard identifier and an option attachment member to which an optional identifier is attachable. The standard identifier includes a standard sensor unit including an optical line sensor and a standard controller configured to control the standard sensor unit and identify a type of the sheet based on an output from the standard sensor unit. The optional identifier includes an optional sensor unit configured to execute a different sensing operation from a sensing operation executed by the standard sensor unit and an optional controller configured to control the optional sensor unit.
