Item validation and image evaluation system with feedback loop
Systems for item validation and image evaluation are provided. In some examples, a system may receive an instrument and associated data. The instrument may be received and at least one of a bill pay profile and a user profile may be retrieved. The bill pay profile and user profile may each include a plurality of previously processed instruments that have been determined to be valid and/or authentic. The instrument may be compared to the plurality of previously processed instruments to determine whether one or more elements of the instrument being evaluated match one or more corresponding elements of the plurality of previously processed instruments. Matching or non-matching elements may be identified. In some examples, one or more user interfaces may be generated displaying the instruments and including any highlighting or enhancements identifying matching or non-matching elements.

The apparatus may include a microprocessor. In electronic communication with the microprocessor there may be a memory cell. In electronic communication with the microprocessor there may be a light source circuit. In electronic communication with the microprocessor there may be a camera circuit. In electronic communication with the microprocessor there may be a nano light-emitting diode display circuit. Stored in the memory cell there may be image-processing instructions. Stored in the memory cell there may be light-source control instructions. The memory cell; the light source circuit; the camera circuit; and the nano light-emitting diode display circuit may be embedded in an information card. The instructions may be configured to cause the microprocessor to count objects set in motion by a user. The motion may be a motion of manually flicked objects.
MACHINE-READABLE POLYMER SECURITY THREADS
A method and associated system for authentication, including irradiating an item including a polymer security thread including a polymer material and a doping material within the polymer material and configured to produce a radiation spectrum in response to the irradiating, the doping material capable of absorbing, scattering, or emitting radiation, and detecting the produced radiation spectrum to confirm the presence of the polymer security thread.
Value document having security marking with varying decay time and method for identifying the security marking
A value document has a security marking in the form of two luminescent substances whose the emission spectra partially overlap in a primary emission range. The emission spectra have a degree of overlap of less than 80% and more than 5%, wherein the luminescent substances have different individual decay times in the primary emission range. The individual decay times of the luminescent substances differ from each other by more than 50% with reference to the shortest individual decay time.
Extended convolutional neural network for document analysis
The invention refers to a computer-implemented method of analyzing security documents having visible information and at least one of infrared and ultraviolet detectable information, the method comprising the steps of: receiving visible-color data of a first set of pixels of a first region of the security document in a first image of the security document and feeding the visible-color data to a convolutional neural network, CNN; receiving infrared, IR, and/or ultraviolet, UV, data of a second and/or third set of pixels of a respective second and/or third region in a respective second and/or third image of the security document and feeding the IR and/or UV data to the CNN; analyzing the visible-color data of the first set of pixels using the CNN to extract characteristics of the security document from the visible information; and analyzing the IR and/or UV data of the second and/or third set of pixels using the CNN to extract characteristics of the security document from the IR and/or UV information. Further, a corresponding system is provided.
METHOD, APPARATUS AND DEVICE FOR RECOGNIZING BILL AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure discloses a method, apparatus and device for recognizing a bill, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a bill image; inputting the bill image into a feature extraction network layer of a pre-trained bill recognition model, to obtain a bill key field feature map and a bill key field value feature map of the bill image; inputting the bill key field feature map into a first head network layer of the bill recognition model, to obtain a bill key field; processing the bill key field value feature map by a second head network layer of the bill recognition model, to obtain a bill key field value, the feature extraction network layer being respectively connected with the first head network layer and the second head network layer; and generating structured information of the bill image based on the bill key field and the bill key field value.
Mark authentication from light spectra
Authenticating a mark having a marker that emits light under illumination, involving an obtaining of a light spectrum from the mark, the light spectrum having values, each value indicating a light intensity of the light emitted from the mark for a corresponding wavelength, an applying of a set of rules onto the values of the light spectrum to obtain a first result indicating whether the mark is authentic or not, an applying of statistical processing onto the values of the light spectrum to obtain a second result indicating whether the mark is authentic or not, and a generating of an output result indicating whether the mark is authentic or not from the first result and the second result.
