Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for electronic report tracking

Exemplary embodiments are disclosed herein for processing one or more sheets of sheet material in a deposit include various systems and processes. The systems and processes include receiving a sheet in a sheet-accepting device. Further, the systems and processes include detecting, by a sensor, characteristic information about the sheet. The characteristic information indicates whether the sheet is anomalous. The systems and processes also include encoding, by an encoding device, the sheet based on the characteristic information detected by the sensor. The encoding includes encoding the sheet with anomaly information when the characteristic information indicates that the sheet is anomalous. The anomaly information identifies a reason for indicating that the sheet is anomalous. Moreover, the systems and processes include disposing the encoded sheet in a container for further processing when the characteristic information indicates that the sheet is anomalous.

MULTI-BANKNOTE CASSETTE WITH MOVABLE STOPPER AND BANKNOTE STACKING METHOD THEREOF
20170240373 · 2017-08-24 ·

Provided is a multi-banknote cassette with a movable stopper, which is capable of storing various kinds of banknotes at the same time. The multi-banknote cassette includes a movable stopper which is installed in a stack guide for guiding banknotes introduced into a cassette body of the banknote cassette toward a banknote stopper, and rotated to protrude from or retreat into a transfer path of the banknotes. When a banknote having a relatively small size among the banknotes inserted into the banknote cassette is introduced, the movable stopper is rotated to protrude from the stack guide and regulates the front end of the introduced banknote, and when a banknote having a relatively large size is introduced, the movable stopper is rotated to retreat into the stack guide, and a banknote stopper installed at the rear of the stack guide regulates the front end of the introduced bank.

Money handling apparatus

A money handling apparatus is constituted by a mechanical processing unit configured to mechanically process money, and a manually-handled money storage unit for storing money by a manual handling. The mechanical processing unit includes an inlet for receiving money, a recognition and counting unit configured to recognize and count the money that has been received in the inlet, a mechanically-processed money storage unit configured to store the money, an outlet to which the money fed from the mechanically-processed money storage unit is discharged, and a money transport unit configured to connect these units and portions. The manually-handled money storage unit is not connected to the money transport unit of the mechanical processing unit, and has a structure in which money to be manually managed can be directly stored therein by hand and the stored money can be directly taken out therefrom by hand.

MEDIUM HANDLING DEVICE

A medium handling device is provided including a stage on which a rectangular shaped medium is stacked in an vertical direction, and a liquid spraying mechanism including plural liquid spray nozzles that extend along the vertical direction and that spray a liquid at a medium stacked on an upper face of the stage. The plural liquid spray nozzles are respectively provided at positions facing at least three side edges of the stacked medium, and each of the plural liquid spray nozzles is disposed so as to spray the liquid at a specific spray angle with respect to the respective facing side edge.

Method for feeding notes of value to an automated teller machine

A method for feeding notes of value (20) to a device for handling notes of value includes manually filing a cash cassette (10) with the notes of value (20), and rotating the cash cassette (10) so that the side that was arranged at the bottom during the filling of the cash cassette (10), is arranged at the top. The cash cassette (10) then is inserted into the device for handling notes of value in this rotated orientation.

Intelligent cash drawer unit or cash register and methods of operation therefor

An intelligent cash drawer unit or cash register is operable to process signals from load cells beneath note/coin cups when the drawer is open. It then determines the weight/value of cash in the cups, in order to either (a) detect an accurate weight in a cup comprising a poorly placed note, or (b) allow a float to be added, or a lift to be made, stepwise, whilst the drawer remains open. An intelligent cash drawer unit or cash register is also described which can detect a poorly placed note, by either (a) comparing signals from the load cells when the drawer is open, and when the drawer is closed or (b) monitoring stable readings, over a predetermined period when the drawer is closed and comparing the monitored values and where the apparent weight determined by the transducer appears to reduce by more than a predetermined amount, determining that a note is poorly placed.

A cassette mounting apparatus includes an apparatus-side connector connectable to a cassette-side connector of a cassette that stores money, a cassette mounting section that enables the cassette to be mounted therein, and a connection processing section that connects the apparatus-side connector to the cassette-side connector by moving the apparatus-side connector in a direction closer to the cassette-side connector.

MEDIUM PROCESSING DEVICE AND MEDIUM TRANSACTION DEVICE

A medium processing device includes: a drum that has a circular cylinder shape and that rotates about a rotation shaft; a tape that, together with a medium, is wrapped onto a drum circumferential face, this being a circumferential face of the drum; a reel onto which the tape is pre-wound, and from which the tape is pulled out accompanying rotation of the drum; and a rotation restriction mechanism. The rotation restriction mechanism includes a restriction section that is obstructed from moving by the tape wrapped onto the drum circumferential face, and that moves when the drum rotates in an unwind direction to unwind the tape such that the tape comes away from the drum circumferential face to expose a wrapping location of the tape onto the drum circumferential face, and a stopper section that abuts the restriction section so as to restrict rotation of the drum in the unwind direction.

MULTIPURPOSE CASHBAG LEVEL AND BANKNOTE PRESENCE IN ESCROW DETECTOR

This disclosure relates to a cashbag sealing system. The system comprises a banknote transport mechanism operable to transport a banknote to a storing unit. The storing unit includes a banknote storing bag detachably coupled to the storing unit, and an escrow plate operable to escrow the banknote before the banknote transported to the storing unit is stored in the banknote storing bag, wherein the escrow plate is operable to move from a horizontally extending hold position to a downwardly or obliquely downwardly extending release position, and wherein the banknote transported to the storing unit is escrowed on the escrow plate when the escrow plate is located at the hold position. The system further comprises a sensor configured to detect a presence of the banknote on the escrow plate, and measure a level of banknotes in the banknote storing bag.
