SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sheet processing apparatus includes: a first storage that is a winding-type storage unit where a sheet is wound around a drum together with a tape and stored; a second storage that stores the sheet; a transport unit that transports the sheet to the second storage at a first transport speed and transports the sheet from the second storage to the first storage at a second transport speed; and a processing circuitry that controls the first storage, the second storage, and the transport unit so that the second transport speed is slower than the first transport speed and a winding speed for winding the sheet by the first storage is a first winding speed that is slower than the second transport speed.
Multi-slot automated teller machine
Embodiments disclosed herein generally related to an automated teller machine (ATM) and a method of operating the same. In one embodiment, an apparatus is disclosed herein. The apparatus includes a body, a display, two or more currency dispensing components, two or more currency cartridges, two or more tracks, and a controller. Each currency dispensing component is dedicated to a specific currency denomination. The two or more currency cartridges are configured to store currency. Each currency cartridge dedicated to a specific currency denomination. Each track extends between a currency dispensing component and a currency cartridge. The two or more tracks are configured to transmit currency from the two or more currency cartridges to the two or more currency dispensing components. The controller is in communication with the display, the two or more currency dispensing components, the two or more currency cartridges, and the two or more tracks.
Currency and document sanitizing apparatus and system
A sanitizing apparatus for sanitizing sheets, typically currency bills, has a housing defining a sanitizing chamber with an inlet and an outlet for the ingress and egress, respectively, of the currency bills. An intake conveyor conveys the currency bills into the sanitizing chamber into the sanitizing chamber and an outlet conveyor is arranged in the sanitizing chamber along a conveying direction and spaced away from the intake conveyor across a gap therebetween. An upper ultra-violet (UV) lamp is located above the gap and a lower UV light is arranged below the gap. An electrical system causes the upper UV lamp and the lower UV lamp to direct UV light onto an upper surface and a lower surface of the currency bills they are conveyed into the sanitizing chamber and travel across the gap, the UV light being selected to have an intensity to sanitize the currency bills as they pass through the sanitizing apparatus.
