In electronic communication with the microprocessor there may be a nano light-emitting diode display circuit. Stored in the memory cell there may be image-processing instructions. Stored in the memory cell there may be light-source control instructions. The memory cell; the light source circuit; the camera circuit; and the nano light-emitting diode display circuit may be embedded in an information card. The instructions may be configured to cause the microprocessor to count objects set in motion by a user. The motion may be a motion of manually flicked objects.
CURRENCY NOTE ACCEPTOR
A currency note acceptor for accepting currency notes, including: a housing defining a pathway for passage of an inserted currency note from an opening to a storage compartment; a currency note validator for examining and validating currency notes along the pathway; an obstruction operatively associated with the currency note validator, the obstruction being changeable between a first operative state to obstruct entry in and/or out of the storage compartment and a second operative state to allow passage of the currency note along the pathway into the storage compartment; wherein the acceptor is operable to: receive a currency note during a receiving phase; change the obstruction during an accepting phase such that it is in the second operative state following validation of the currency note to allow stowage of the note in the storage compartment; and subsequently change the obstruction such that it is in the first operative state during a subsequent receiving phase for a subsequent currency note.

Detection Method, Detection Apparatus and Detection Process
Provided are a detection method, a detection apparatus and a detection process. The detection method includes: using a sensor for idle scanning to obtain a first output electrical signal, and performing feedback correction on the first output electrical signal to eliminate a noise to obtain first correction data; using the sensor to scan a correction specimen page to obtain a second output electrical signal, and performing the feedback correction on the second output electrical signal to eliminate a noise to obtain second correction data; calculating according to the first correction data, the second correction data and an electrical signal predetermined value to obtain third correction data; using the sensor to scan a to-be-detected object to obtain a third output electrical signal; and correcting the third output electrical signal according to the first correction data, and the third correction data. In the detection method obtains an accurate detection result.
CASH HANDLING MACHINE
A cash handling machine comprising: a cash handling mechanism for receiving physical articles including cash, sensing equipment for sensing the articles, processing equipment processors, and memory storing code arranged to run on the processing equipment. The code comprises multiple neural networks arranged in a series ordered from first to last, each trained to classify which of a respective set of classes the articles belong to based on the sensed data. The set of classes of each respective neural network comprises a different respective subset of one or more respective recognized classes classifying a respective one or more types of cash recognised by the respective neural network, and further comprising an unrecognized class into which all other articles other than the respective recognized types are classified. For each article, the code starts with the first neural network in the series, using each network in turn to try to recognize the article.

Valuable medium processing apparatus
A valuable medium processing apparatus that includes a mounting section which is set to either a first state in which a storage unit that stores a valuable medium is not mounted or a second state in which the storage unit is mounted, and a control section that performs, based on selection of the mounting section, a switching process between the first state and the second state of the selected mounting section.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING A COIN-OPERATED DEVICE
Systems, apparatus, and methods for tracking or monitoring utilization of a coin-operated device without opening the device. The device can be designed, retrofitted, to have an electronic counting system, generally including a small circuit board with a controller, counter, and transceiver. The counting system is also connected to the coin-operated apparatus to detect use, such as by detecting the passage of a coin. The counter is then incremented. The current count can be queried by a mobile device or other computer via the wireless transceiver, and other instructions can be sent, such as to reset the count to zero.
