Change machine, money handling system, cash register, and money handling method
One object is to efficiently identify number of transactions that can be performed by using an inventory amount of money inside a change machine and to improve the business efficiency. A POS register (290) transmits a total amount request to a change machine (200) connected thereto (Step S11). Upon receiving the total amount request from the POS register (290), a change machine (200) transmits to the POS register (290) a total amount of money that can be dispensed as change and that is calculated based on an inventory amount of one or more predetermined denominations (Step S12). The POS register (290) receives the total amount from the change machine (200) (Step S13) and calculates number of transactions for which the change can be dispensed by calculating how many times is the total amount of the maximum change amount (JPY9, 999) for one transaction (Step S14). The POS register (290) informs the salesclerk of the calculated number of transactions by displaying and the like. Therefore, the salesclerk can confirm the number of transactions and can use this information as a factor to determine a timing of replenishing the change.

Paper sheet processing device and partition card
A paper sheet processing device includes: a charging inlet that takes in paper sheets in a conveyance direction, the paper sheets including at least one target sheet and a partition card overlapped on the target sheet, the partition card having a main surface portion having at least one identification hole group, the identification hole group having at least two through holes arranged along the conveyance direction; a detection unit that detects take-in of the paper sheets by the charging unit, and detects the identification hole group; and a control unit that determines a paper sheet is the partition card in a case where the identification hole group has been detected by the detection unit, and determines that a paper sheet is the target sheet in a case where the identification hole group has not been detected by the detection unit.

SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sheet processing apparatus in the present invention operates in a self-service mode, in which a user does not receive operation support provided by an operation assistant, and a non-self-service mode, in which the user receives the operation support. The sheet processing apparatus includes an inlet that takes in sheets in a deposit process, a transport section that transports the sheets taken in from the inlet, storage sections that store the sheets transported by the transport section, and a control section that causes the transport section in such a way as to transport the sheets to the storage sections on a basis of storage conditions for storing the sheets in the storage sections. The control section changes the storage conditions for at least one of the storage sections between the self-service mode and the non-self-service mode.
Cash management system, cashier device, and cash management method
A cash management system includes a plurality of cash settlement devices, a cashier device, and a cash management device, wherein the cash management device acquires the inventory number in each cash settlement device, and when a request is made to supply change funds, calculates the total number of banknotes or coins lacking relative to the preset post-replenishment inventory number thereof, wherein the cash management device instructs the cashier device to, when the total number is equal to or less than the inventory number in the cashier device, dispense banknotes or coins, the number of the dispensed banknotes or coins being required to allow the inventory number in the cash settlement device to reach the post-replenishment inventory number, and when the total number exceeds the inventory number in the cashier device, dispense banknotes or coins, the number of the dispensed banknotes or coins being calculated according to a preset calculation formula.
