Paper sheet processing apparatus and paper sheet processing method
According to one embodiment, a paper sheet processing apparatus includes a conveyance device with a conveyor belt, and an inspection device configured to inspect a paper sheet conveyed by the conveyor belt. The inspection device includes an image detection device configured to capture an image of the paper sheet and the conveyor belt and obtain an image of the paper sheet and the conveyor belt, an image processing device configured to detect a degradation level of the conveyor belt based on an belt image of the conveyor belt, and a controller configured to transmit information encouraging replacement of the conveyor belt to a monitor.
MONEY PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR HANDLING AN ERROR IN A MONEY PROCESSING MACHINE
A money processing system includes: a money processing machine including a processing machine communication section and a processing machine controller; a first terminal including a first reception section, a first communication section, and a first controller; and a second terminal including a second reception section, a second communication section, and a second controller. The first terminal is a mobile communication terminal. The processing machine communication section transmits state information indicating a state of the money processing machine. In a case where the first reception section receives a consent operation to handle an error in the money processing machine, the first communication section transmits consent information. The error in the money processing machine is indicated by the state information. The second controller causes the second communication section to receive the consent information.

Banknote processing device and methods
A banknote processing device comprises a banknote transport path defined at least in part by a transport plate on one side of the banknote transport path, the banknote transport plate being pivotally mounted about a first axis near an upstream end of the transport plate, the transport plate including a working position and an open position, a display assembly being pivotally mounted about a second axis spaced a defined distance apart from the first axis, the display assembly including an operational position and a non-operational position, and a linkage coupled to display assembly and to the transport plate near a downstream end of the transport plate, wherein, when the display assembly is rotated from the operational position to the non-operational position, the linkage causes the transport plate to move from the working position to the open position.
TRANSACTION DEVICE
A transaction device including: a banknote deposit/withdrawal port section that receives at least one of a deposit banknote or a withdrawal banknote; a storage box that stores banknotes; a conveyance section including a conveyance path on which the banknotes are conveyed between the banknote deposit/withdrawal port section and the storage box; a banknote identification information holding section that reads and holds banknote identification information of the banknotes conveyed on the conveyance path; a storage detection section that detects the banknotes being stored in the storage box via the conveyance path or being fed out from the storage box via the conveyance path; and an information presentation section that presents the banknote identification information obtained from the banknote identification information holding section associated with a detection result of the storage detection section in a case in which a fault event has arisen.

PAPER SHEET HANDLING MACHINE
A first transport path is put into a first state capable of transporting a paper sheet when a first portion and a second portion engage with each other, and put into a second state in which the second portion is swingable with respect to the first portion about a first swing axis extending in a direction orthogonal to a first direction and horizontal when engagement between the first portion and the second portion is released. A contact portion comes into contact with the second portion, thereby engaging the second portion with the first portion when a second unit in which the first transport path is in the second state is moved in a second direction opposite to the first direction.
MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM PROCESSING APPARATUS AND MAGNETIC FIELD GENERATION METHOD
A magnetic recording medium processing apparatus may include a coil structured to generate a magnetic field, a magnetic field generation control part which controls generation of the magnetic field in the coil, a sensor structured to execute acquisition of predetermined information, and a sensor control part which controls execution of the acquisition of the information in the sensor. The sensor control part may request the magnetic field generation control part to stop magnetic field generation from the coil at a timing earlier by a predetermined time period than a start timing when the sensor starts the acquisition of the information, and the magnetic field generation control part may stop the generation of the magnetic field from the coil when stop of the magnetic field generation is requested by the sensor control part.
